This location is a gas station, I'm not at all saying uhaul can't operate from a gas station but this was the most unprofessional experience imaginable. While I'm trying to get my truck, the gentleman behind the counter is also trying to ring up other patrons. He basically threw the keys on the counter and pointed to my truck and sent me on my way. Definitely not the experience I've had in the past...Aareon G.

They only had 1 employee there and as a gas station, renting uhaul equipment did not seem to be a priority. In addition, being sent to a location over an hour away from our residence was extremely inconvenient, I am now considering purchasing a trailer for future travel so that I don't have to deal with such inconveniences.KEVIN M.

The owner was unhappy because I did not use much mileage. 745 Peoria is 0,8 miles from the address I was moving from. The storage I am using is 20 blocks from there 1,7 miles. A total of 3 trips and back to the shop a total of 72 blocks. The owner of the shop accused me of fooling with the mileage. Then he got into the truck and came up with 15miles. He also charged me twice for the insuranceGLENORA R.
Your person at the U-Haul location rented us the wrong size truck and then charged me about 10 $because he claims that the needle was moved away from the F line or something I don't know he made the experience from the beginning very complicated and very hard to deal with him in the future I don't think he should run that U-Haul location I don't think he has the proper credentials just FYI I probably won't you ever use it againMarjorie D.

This location ran a dual shabby convenience store. The truck was disappointingly older and a little beat up. The windows were iced solid. The man did come out, start the truck, and de iced the windows. It was so dinged up, we took a video of the outside.Sarah B.
I requested a Dolly which I never received and when asked about it I was told I won't be refunded. I told him I would need and extra hour and even tried calling but he charged me for an extra day that I didn't use. I will never use uhaul again nor recommend it.Renieka J.

Blankets and dolly were not in the truck when I picked it up? Didn't find out til I got to my house. ALSO, when I dropped it off I was charged for the blankets and dolly NINETY FKN DOLLARS. Itemized as 40 $rental fee. And additional fees as well. Just make sure that the person doing the rentals pays more attention to the paperwork, I gassed it up and backed it into the spot then he told me it needed to be full when the paperwork was below full so I was frustrated but overall a good service.Heather W.

Was extremely hard to get the equipment we reserved. We showed up and were sent elsewhere because the equipment reserved was not available. Every location we dealt with the representatives were less than helpful and in most cases treated us like an inconvenience. It made our moving experience a lot harder than it had to be and there was no customer service at all.Francisco P.

When I arrived to the location I'd made the reservation for I was turned away and sent to further away location. The first location in East Colfax was less than 2 miles from where I was moving. They could not give me a truck due to the gas tanks being cut the night before and the gas being stolen. I was not informed of this information until I was in the store at about 10:30am. The second location was 5+ miles from where I was moving. I asked if I could not be charged the extra mileage and was told no. I was charged an addition 10 miles for something that out of my control.Allison W.

Work Uhaul experience I've ever had. The tire on the truck were no good and the guy ripped me off with the gas charges. The truck didn't even have that amount of gas in it. But I didn't argue I remained a good customer and paid. But I will never rent from this location again nor will I refer anyoneKyree E.
The people checking us in and out were okay, but they are also taking care of gas/store customers so you aren't top priority. I had a question about the bill and they weren't able to answer it, so he had me check out on the mobile app to see the itemized bill. I gave it 4 stars because I think the place is fine and the trucks are very nice but Uhaul's overall process could use some tweaking.Peter W.
Did not like the area, place was dirty, the lady too forever to close my account. I returned the truck a day early and I think I should get reimbursed for a day and a half. She did not want to give me back my paperwork until I ask her 3 times.Karen R.

This location is terrible. it took 45 minutes to rent the uhaul because it was also a gas station and even though the lady had started helping me any time a customer would come into the gas station she would stop helping me to get the person cigarettes or a drink even though i told her i was in a hurry and was ALREADY IN THE PROCESS OF RENTAL when they would come in, but would get priority. The place was very run down and dingy, the uhaul i was renting was just kind of in front of the gas station. the womans printer did not work so she asked if she could take my phone and take a picture of the contract instead of actually printing it out and having me sign.David W.
I was first sent to a different location where the equipment was not available. I also had a hard time understand the person there. He finally printed out the location I needed to go to. I could not understand what the person at this location was saying. He could barely speak English. He also charged me 70 $for the insurance after I said I did not want it. It also took a long time to get the paperwork done and get my equipment. He however did know how to hook up the equipment properly.david W.

This is a horrible location. The guy behind the counter was very confused when I told him I needed the key to my truck after showing him my app. It was like he had never seen the app before and didn't seem to know what the protocol was for self check out with the app. The location is in a high crime part of town and I didn't feel comfortable leaving my car there while I rented the truck. The truck was dirty with crumbs throughout.Laura W.

Contract couldn't be pulled up. Waited an hour then did rental as a walk in. Equipment was fine and the employee was nice and tried to help. It took way too much time getting the truck and then checking back in was lengthy. I even completed the check in online to cut wait time. I'm not sure this location should handle U-Haul.Stephen M.
It took over an hour and a half to return a truck and tow dolly because the person at the counter had no idea how to work the computer system. It was very frustrating and I will not be using U-haul again because of it.Jordan F.

I just want to say it was definitely a very good experience he was polite helpful and even when I return my truck back it was very professional and I would definitely use him again and I would tell my friends I like the fact that I'm not in a big Uhaul Center and it's so busy and they treat you as though you're just another customer and more concerned with themselves than they are with the customer so thank you thank you thank you so muchNorma J.

I went to the location and they were not ready for me to pick up the truck. Also the person working the counter didn't really know how to handle the transaction and was on the phone with somebody the entire time. Additionally I requested 20 for moving blankets and they only had 18. But I asked where the others were I was told to go to try other U-Haul locations and see if I can find them myself. When I checked out I just gave me the keys with no contract and said I'm done. I had to call the help line at U-Haul to obtain copy of my contract. On the positive side the truck was new only at 4 000 miles and was great.Mark S.

Both locations failed to give me the details of my contract (the difference between in-town and one-way) when I dropped off at a different location and was told about a â€œconvenienceâ€ fee I waited on hold for almost an hour with Uhaul customer service who said I could hook it back up and take it to the previous location, but the location manager refused to hook it back up and I couldn't because I'm 5 months pregnant. So I was subsequently charged more than double the original price because of extremely poor customer service. I will not be using Uhaul ever again.SHANNON A.

It was good, down side to everything is multiple locations to fulfill my reservation. Truck was in Parker, trailer and dolly in aurora. I know the Parker location said they no longer do trailers because storage tenants kept stealing the trailers, recommend using trailer locks, 5 to 15 a pop. The Aurora location was nice and friendly, just difficult to find as it was on the back side of a mom and pop gas station.Jay W.

Truck had cigar/marijuana ashes all over inside, a bottle of "personal lubricant" was broken open and all over the floor boards and smelled like truck had been smoked in for days. The location is a sketchy gas station, in a rough part of town and spent a while waiting for employee to help as he was running convenience store at same time. The truck and the cabin was not clean. It was a bit muddy. Also the lady at the counter could process the payment from the Gift Certificate I had. She said she did not know how to use it and asked me to call customer care to find out. I did call customer care, but they asked me to ask her to call her ASA. When I called to rent the truck it was at a location that was close to my point of origin. When I pick the truck up it was several miles away from my point of origin. The location was just a small run down filling station. The location for Return of the vehicle at my destination was closed on weekends there for I was somewhat unsure of the Dropbox was preferably used and if my contract was ended at the time of drop off. The person who was there in the morning acted like we didn't have a reservation and it was a major inconvenience for her that I was there. I rarely have met more rude customer service reps. When I went to drop it off at 6:25 (35 mins before it is supposed to close) the place was closed. I had to spend an extra 30 minutes trying to figure out how to check in my trailer online. Not cool. Very bad experience. Won''t use Uhaul again unless I get reimbursement or an apology.Andrew K.
