Make sure site has an appliance dolly on hand. I arrived and paid. There wasn't an appliance dolly on site. Had to call uhaul to refund the dolly fee. Then had to rent kempker's true value's appliance dolly.

They were great! We pulled in & explained we were dropping off a rental. The gentleman we dealt with was super friendly & said he'd move the truck for us. We were in & out in 5 minutes.

Andy SSome of the problems I had with this location were the following: The after-hours key return box was open with no way to lock my key into the box when I tried to deliver before the storm, and the place opened last Sunday. Upon returning the key to personnel at this location, I had to do all the after-hours key return processes again in the rain. The other problem with this location is that the key return drop box is attached to a post in a cement tub that weighs less than 25 pounds, which would probably make anyone worried about doing after-hours key drops at this location.

Madison LI scheduled an after hours mobile pickup. U-Haul contacted me the day before to verify the reservation and assured it would be there and ready. I needed to have my phone and driver's license and I would receive instructions to pick up the truck. I had help lined up for that night to get the truck loaded so I could leave the next day to get my son moved in as he's just started a new job. We arrived to pick up the truck that was at the location but had no keys or instructions to pick it up. I called U-Haul and the best they could do was another 15 foot truck 35 minutes away and offered a $50 refund as the guaranteed reservation was not available. I ended sending the crew that had volunteered to help home with apologies, my son missed a half day of work at a brand new job as we picked up the truck at the original location the next morning with no explanation as to why the truck was not available the night before as guaranteed. Tonight my credit card has been charged the full amount of the original rental. Maybe another location would be better, or a competitor like Budget or Penske.

Jeff SThis location was over 40 miles from where I lived. I had to pay someone to drive me there to get the truck. there were several locations within 10 to 15 miles closer to Dallas Center Iowa. Your operator waited to late to confirm a reasonable location. The store persons were all great. I plan to move when I get my home but I wont rent a U-Haul.
Ferdinand VKempkers True Value in Huxley really do a great job juggling U-Haul on top of their already busy hardware store. The manager Kyle gives stellar service and it's great to have a local hardware store be so friendly!

Michelle KI drove 24 hours of driving with windows that didn't seal properly--Uhaul equipment always has a LOT of miles on it these days and everything seems old an poorly maintained. I do not plan to ever rent from Uhaul again. There were no blankets available at this rental location and we NEEDED BLANKETS FOR MOVING!
