Rented a trailer from this location. Took forever to get checked out, even tho I had reservations, they wanted to put everything in again and kept letting others jump in line over and over.. Which I know its a gas station, but I would like to get checked out... The return was a joke. And 2 days later decided to charge a cleaning fee. Said the inside was totally muddy. How is a trailer that was used for moving my sons furniture to his first apartment filled with mud?? Would we really be tracking mud into his newly carpeted apartment. Just doesn't make sense. And phone calls just keep leading to a manager will call you back... Never did.. Will never go back here again.. Only did so because my normal location in Harrison didn't have the trailer I needed...

The lady took over 30 minutes to process a simple van rental. Van was filthy inside and out, the Chevy van only had 11,433 miles on it and the air conditioner blew warm air, it was only 92 degrees out, the ABS light was on, the parking brake light was on, and the skid control light was on, and yes I drive a Chevy Tahoe and it has nearly the same dash and instrument display, I tried to get the lights to go off but they didn't.

I orinally rented a truck at the IGA in Dillsboro. Since it was closed I received instructions to rent using the app. Big mistake. I was unable to download my picture after numerous tries. I called the 800 number and they told me the only person that could help is the chat feature. After chatting with no success they told me to go inside the store. It was closed. I called the 800 number back to cancel my reservation. This time Evan was very helpful. He found me a truck 30 minutes away and offered me a $50 credit. It only put us an hour behind schedule.

For over 900 miles this particular truck had an issue with door (s) windows had a horrible wind sound that we could NOT get quiet. Could not hear any phone calls nor each other very well . I have a video that clearly you can hear the loud sound.

The clerk did not know how to do a U-haul rental - it took 20 minutes to get my truck, even though I had reserved online, and I had called ahead to confirm the truck's availability and when I would arrive to pick it up. After the transaction was complete, nobody walked to the truck with me to check anything out or explain anything about the truck. The contract said the truck had 3/4 of a tank of gas, but the gas gauge did not reflect a full 3/4 of a tank. The entire white line marking the 3/4 level was visible, and the red pointer was below that mark. When I returned the truck, I put 10 gallons of gas in it (purchased at the U-haul dealer's pumps), even though I had driven only 40 miles, and half of that was driving an unloaded truck. Then they tried to apply a fuel charge to me! There is no way that truck got only 4 miles per gallon (or worse). I protested, and they did remove the fuel charge. To improve: Have clerks who know how to check out a truck. Have the clerk go with the customer to the truck at the beginning of the rental. All the trucks should start out with a FULL tank of gas, not a partial tank of gas. Then, to return it, the customer can just fill it up again until the pump clicks off, instead of relying on that imprecise fuel gauge. I will avoid U-haul in general, and this location in particular, whenever possible in the future.

I called in and reserved Tow dolly to ensure faster pickup but The cashier had a hard time with the computer, he had to call for help twice it took me around 30 minutes to complete transaction for rental of a tow dolly, may need more training for employees to ensure faster and smoother transactions! The employees were very nice and professional just seemed like they were not up to speed on the rental process!

They told me my reservation was not there any more then tried to charge me $600.00 when a uhaul agent gave me the rental for my seleted time (3 days 475 miles) for $109.00 even had my saved confirmation number. this place charged my card $220.00 bottom line, ended up paying 120.00 for 5 hours

The workers at the diner didn't or couldn't answer any questions we had. They kept starting the check out process then excused themselves to cash out multiple customers until we finally said excuse me we are customers too! They were no help in anything, didn't know prices for boxes. No straps or dolly available. Just handed us the key and we went out to the parking lot which was nothing but huge holes of water and semi trucks everywhere. Found our truck but took awhile to get out of the spot because the lot was so full of trucks and pot holes!! Could not believe that u-haul would use this location! Negative stars for this pick up location!

The wiring harness was damaged/not functional and had to get a replacement. Thankfully they had one. However, the lady working forgot to get a contract signed, then called the local police. When I spoke with her after the fact she did not mention calling the police and it was unclear whether she followed up with them to let them know it was a mistake. Customer service reassured me this is not policy (to call police) but it was unclear whether they followed up with police or with the local agents to instruct them not to do that in the future.

I will NEVER use UHAUL again.... was confirmed at truck for pick up and return 3 minutes from my house.... then I got a phone call telling me I COULD NOT HAVE THE TRUCK 3 minutes from my house that it was already rented (funny it was there all that dayand the morning after) was told I HAD to go to another facility (many extra miles to pick up and then after using the truck I was forced to return it to that location (many extra miles away) seems that it is all a sacm to force the consumer to pay for unnecessary mileage! I was told that I could not drop the truck off near my house after I was done to avoid the extra return drop off miles if I did drop it off 3 minutes from my house I would be charged $100.00 . My 19.95 a day rental totaled 130.00 odd dollars!!!! WOW RIP OFF - I will file a report with the BBB, and tell everyone I know NOT to use UHAUL..... perhaps your competitors will offer better customer service if I ever need to rent a truck again .... Initial place of pick up, Aurora farm and garden , did not have my truck and did not know where it was even though my reservation was on file. They also lost the previous renter's reservation so they could not call. Then they had me back track to another location for a bigger truck I did not need. When I arrived it took forever, she tried charging me an extra 30$ dollars but did not know why, and instead of adding extra miles, took them away so my mileage allowed was 26 instead of 68.

I have rented a U-Haul 3 out of the last 4 weekends. Two of those 3 time there were significant mistakes made. The second time we rented the truck was covered in sticky pop and greasy finger prints. The gas level in the truck didn’t match what the computer showed, and the miles were also off by about 60. When my husband went to pick the truck up Stephanie said the reservation was done incorrectly, so she canceled it and did it all over. In fact it had been done correctly and had to be redone back to the the right way by the cashier when we returned it. Today things were so messed up with our charges that we have to call back Monday to get them figured out. I still have 2 more reservations coming up, and I really hope we get someone who is familiar with the process, so we don’t have to waste more time straightening out errors. I could have marked both yes and no on helpful personnel. The personnel was helpful on Sept 30 while she was correcting the other persons’s mistakes, but the others making the mistakes were not.

The 20' truck was hard to drive. Needs a front end alignment in a bad way.The rolling back door stuck open on us and wouldn't shut. On top of this the so called manager accused me of causing a bent bumper that was there when I picked it up. Charged me $468 to replace a bumper!! I am contesting this. Very bad customer service.

The people at the U-Haul in Greendale were not very friendly at all they act like it was an inconvenient for me to drop it off there in act like they were upset because I did not unhook the car hauler from the truck which I did not know I was supposed to do they did nothing to try to help me resolve the problem I have my personal belongings getting damaged because the truck itself leaks

They tried over charging me saying I had the trailer for 2 days. The red headed guy I got it from said I had to bring it back by 9am even though I brought it back at 11 at night and I was still overcharged. Wont recommend to anyone for this location till the figure out how to properly run it. Also took me over an hour to rent it

This was not our original pick up location. When we arrived at our original pick up location scheduled through uhaul.com, there was no 26 ft. truck for us to pick up. We frantically made multiple phone calls to try and find a truck as we had movers scheduled to be at our house to load it! Eventually, a very sympathetic customer service agent found us another truck, but it was another 20 miles away. By the time we drove put there, picked up the truck and drove back home, we were way behind. Uhaul did give us a $50 refund as per their guarantee, but honestly with the stress that was caused by the need to scramble to find another truck, then drive there and needing to try to change our reservation times with two different sets of movers, I am not sure that fifty bucks off makes up for it. We have used uhaul several times in the past but today left an impression, particularly for the online reservation system. I do want to say that the woman who was working at the Kennett Truck Stop location was wonderful and went out of her way to help us after she heard what we had been through. She and the gentleman who helped me on the phone this morning were awesome!

There was food in the cab of the truck when I picked it up. There was also food and garbage in the back of the truck as well. The customer service or lack there of will make it so I will recommend to others that are moving in my area to find another location to get a truck from. $100 spent on a truck to be harassed when dropping off the truck because there was pizza in the truck. (The same pizza that was in the truck when I walked out to get in the truck when I picked it up in the morning.) it was super frustrating to stand around for ten minutes while the attendant cleaned the truck after we used it when it obviously wasn’t cleaned before I got it.

The person at the counter did not honor the pricing I got online when I booked the trailer a week before so I had to pay more (also the person before me had a coupon that was Not honored), also gave me a different drop off location than what I had selected online. It seems to be like she just did a brand new reservation and didn’t look at what I had selected online at all because I also had to mention to her I ordered a 2 wheel dolly. When I went to hook up the trailer the chains were on the ground along with the trailer harness, it had rained the night before so they had dirt. Once I took the trailer home I had to sweep it because it has sand on the floorboard. I did like the newer LED style rear lights, they were bright. I only recommend this location because it usually has a good inventory.

The pick up place handled 15-20 Restuarant and gas station customers while I just waited. Once I was loaded into the Uhaul computer, the counter clerk told me they would not hook up my trailer. She said, “ go out and do it yourself...she doesn’t do it.” I had never used a trailer, so did not know how to properly hitch it. I then had to beg for someone to help. Fortunately a man helped. Very poor service, let alone potential liability. Very poor site.

I reserved a 6x10 enclosed trailer online and when I arrived they did not have one on the premises. We contacted U-Haul on the phone and the whole reservation was messed up. They had me picking the trailer up near my home in Florida. I was up there to move my mother into an assisted living facility. It took almost an hour to get everything fixed but I was then running behind in my time frame. Luckily I was able to squeeze everything into the smaller trailer (5x8) but I'm really disappointed about the whole experience.
