Upon arrival at the location we had issues getting the mobile check in to work, the vape shop employee said he had nothing to do with the trucks and could not help. Once we got the check in to work and got the code for the lock, we could not get the lock to open. We called the help center and they gave us a second code which did not work. After messing with the lock for at least 15 minutes we figured out the code which wasn't the 2 codes we were provided. While on the phone with the help center we were told our only option if we could not get the lock open was to refund our money which would not be returned that day and go make a new reservation somewhere else, luckily we did not have to do that but the fact our payment and reservation could not be transferred is ridiculous. After we got the truck we had to immediately fill it up with gas because it was completely empty. When we returned the truck it was filled to 3/4 which is more than was in it when we got it and we are still being charged extra for not having it at half a tank. I disputed the charge when we returned the truck and have yet to hear from anyone but the money was taken out of my account. This is the worst experience I've ever had dealing with something like this and I would never recommend u-haul or use them in the future.

Was given return address as Verona, VA but was actually another store with same name in Staunton, VA. Didn't give out until tried to return keys. They let us know had to go to other location

The employee simply took the key, snapped a picture, then says, "you can go now!" Cut and dry…
