I reserved the truck from 7am to 7pm, then got a call at 1:30pm that they needed the truck back for the next reservation, before my reserved time was up. Luckily, I was just about done so I could return the truck early, but that poor planning on your part shouldn't have been my problem. And I still got charged more than I thought I should.

We rented a pick up truck and the fuel gauge looks like it was on full when we picked it up. We only drove 27 miles and then when we went to fill up the truck before return, it took 5 gallons of gas. We asked the guy how many miles per gallon the truck got, he said about 22. So for sure the truck was not full of gas will be picked it up but we couldn't tell because of the gauge. I provided the fuel receipt and I asked for credit for the gas but I didn't get it. I didn't like that very much.

rented the vehicle he told me that the vehicle was at a quarter of a tank and to bring it back at a quarter of a tank which is exactly what I did. He charged me $30 to re fuel. He also charged me an extra day for being late then charged me another extra day for being late even though he said he charged before an extra day and didn't explain that every hour he was going to keep doing that. When I asked him about that he said that that was the way it was couldn't explain the math and also when I tried to debate him on it he said this is not my company so I don't care if you call customer service or not. So I will be calling in to my bank for fraud. This is not the way you treat a customer and that makes no sense to charge a customer for another day and then charge them for 2 more days in one day I literally got it back in a day 2 hours later but got charged like I had it 3 days. How is that fair?

The associate that helped us out was not very friendly when we came in and told us that since we were 2 hours late for our 10am pickup time, we probably wouldn't be able to pick up the UHaul that day because they had just given our UHaul to someone else. It was unclear to us via the online check-in process that we had to show up AT 10am in order to pickup the UHaul, otherwise it could be given to someone else. Feels like that defeats the point of a RESERVATION which we had already paid for. He was able to eventually find us another 5x8 UHaul on the lot and was friendly after that, but he really took us through a scare first which was unpleasant to say the least. I would recommend that the online check-in process should make it more clear that if you have a reservation time, you have to be there RIGHT THEN and not just sometime after that reservation time given.

The car trailer was reported stolen and the state police held us for two hours until they cleared that it was not stolen by us.

This location was 70 miles from my house. 140 miles round trip with traffic. About a 3 hour round trip. Nice place, I understand there was limited availability. I was originally scheduled to pick up In Lafayette CO, which is still about 35 miles from my house and I was okay with that due to limited availability. The day before pick up I got the call to confirm everything and was told I would have to go a little further to Fort Collins. But this inconvenience is the only downside to my experience with uhaul.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. This is one of the few locations that had the 6x12 trailer that I needed. I live in Laramie and had to go to Fort Collins to pick up some items. If not for this need I wouldn't have rented the trailer. The only knock is the location. The yard is tiny. Thanks for the equipment though!!

Everything went very well from pickup through use to turn in. The price was right and we filled up a 17 foot truck with over 600 bucks of home depot boxes from attic to door. We even took stuff the movers wouldn't take like liquids. Well worth the 20 bucks of gas that we used.

The employee who assisted me with my rental did not know how to attach my hitch. As a location that provides these services I assumed the employees would be well trained and competent. Due to his incompetence, the trailer detached within 5 hours of our drive. The locking nut to the ball fell off and the trailer crashed into the back of my car. The only reason there was no damage to my vehicle was because the hitch remained attached and took the brunt of the impact. The trailer detaching put my life, my passenger's life, and all other lives on the road in danger.

Attendant was helpful and knowledgeable. Facilities could use upgrading and cleaning up but had everything needed. My contract info did not match the truck assigned to me and I had to deal with it when turning in the truck. The team in Highlands Ranch made it all ok. Overall U-Haul helped me make an unexpected move. The online links made managing departure and checkin very efficient.

The online checking in/checking process is confusing and wasn't clear that after hours you must use this process and follow the process, as to avoid a “after hours” fee. I checked in online and then seemed to do a second check in, in person, so just thought it was a little redundant. Also the platform has glitches, it took me 25 min to check in online and then it seemed like it didn't make the “wait” shorter. The employees at this location were efficient and communicative. When I had a problem checking out online, they handled immediately and put my mind at ease. I was worried about the fee for not using the online platform correctly, but they assured me they did not want to burden their customers with the “After hours” fee and was suspending it until further notice. That was great news. Would recommend to a friend.

The truck was dirty and smelled like smoke - no one came out to check the truck with us. My husband had to use his inhaler three times to make it to our location. It was horrible!! We had to move and didn't have time to go back the next morning. We paid way too much for this bad experience .. especially during COVID your trucks should be overly clean!
