We had to go back because the person was not there. Then we had to wait for the inside to be cleaned out. The laptop kept going out and even after I told her we were going out of state and that I had made arrangements for the 150 mile deal she said she did not know how to do that. To call and have Uhaul change it. So when I tried to do that and add miles to lower my costs I was told there was nothing they could do. This was the worst Uhaul experience I have ever had and I have been using yall all of my adult life since 1975.Garry M.
Did not rec call the promised call the day ahead and thus was not aware til day of pick up that our location had changed. Drop off location had not been taking Uhaul returns for 2 mos so had to call for another location. The response to that request was very good. Due to pick up and drop off changes we were allotted additional mileage but we were charged based on original mileage allowed.Beth W.

I was sent to a location over 30 min from where I requested. When I arrived for pick up, the equipment I rented was not present. I had reserved both a large truck and a trailer. The trailer was not available, nor was the dolly I reserved.. I was given no notice about this lack of equipment. This was not the fault of the pick up location, but central scheduling- who did not provide it to the pick up location.. When I called about the trailer, I was told there was not one in the area. All that was offered was to remove it from my bill, not the 50 $list on the website, no effort to make this right. I am now forced to make another long distance trip (one way airline ticket) to rent a new vehicle for a one way trip, additional load / unload labor, hotel expenses, and associated travel expenses because the equipment reserved was not provided by Uhaul. Be careful and make sure equipment you reserved is available before you go to pick it up.Glen C.

When I showed up to pick up my equipment, the vendor didn't have my appliance or utility dolly that I had reserved over 3 weeks prior. I got no assistance in obtaining these items. I had paid moving help and was on a time crunch which was already tight due to U-Haul moving my rental location 50 miles away from my home. Don't know what the point of a3 week reservation was.Christ C.
Need to check your locations routinely. This is our second time having to go to this location. First time they didn't have any hitches that we purchased on line so we cancelled our reservation. This time we did rent the trailer but same as last time, all your equipment is in a field with weeds grown up over the car hauler trailers. So it shows there is no care or concern on behalf of your people here. Will never refer anyone to this location and only reason we rented this time was it was only place in several hours that had the trailer.Charles W.

My issue with this location is not with the location but with U-Haul. This location is in the middle of no-where. i reserved a truck from an actual U-Haul facility but they rudely moved my reservation to this location nearly 40 miles away. The people were very nice but renting trucks is not their focus - running their gas station restaurant is.Ronald C.
This location, and the personnel that worked there, was very helpful, kind and very considerate, in regards to my rental. I did not get the lady's name, however, she was most helpful, and because of her, I will drive, past other U-Haul rental facilities, to deal with her. The major reason I would not recommend this location was not with the adequacy of the facility or staff but its geographic location. Your reservation system changing my pick-up from a location 5 minutes from my home to one >30 minutes away in a rural setting when there are probably >5 locations within 15 minutes from my home. The location lost power and, to her credit, the agent diligently worked through having to use a phone for the first time to compete the check in.Edward C.

I couldn't believe how dirty it was on the inside. When I opened the door to get in empty Gatorade bottles rolled out. The lady didn't bother to go out with me. The sun visor across the front windshield was still there and I folded it up and put it behind the seat. She never checked it for any existing damage or anything She couldn't get her printer to print my contact so I had to take a picture on my phone to have a copy. When I turned it in at my destination I explained all this there and they were understanding. I made my move safely though so at least all ended well. I have rented before and this was the worst I had ever ever seen on pickup.Kathy R.
The inside of the trailer was not completely cleaned. I returned it much cleaner than I picked it up. I performed the online reservation, but it did not save me any time. There was confusion about where I was dropping off the equipment, how to pay (even though I used by CC online). It was not horrible, but the process could be improved.Chris B.

Store owner and employee was very rude to me. The business smells like 100 packs of smoked cigarettes. I could not breath in their building with the entire place smelling like smoke. Places of business should be smoke free. I tried to cancel my reservation but the store owner would not give me back my card and info. I dont appreciate doing business with this location. With their rude attitudes I would not recommend any Customer here...Lorenzo J.

I reserved unit in Bolivar TN and when a person called they said I would have to pickup in Hendersonville, TN about 180 miles away. Got around to this location which was about 40 miles away. I reserved it about 2 weeks before and Bolivar had 3 on lot 5 days before my rental date. They told me I might to go pick one up. not there problem but UHAULs. These people were good like reviews.Buddy N.

U Haul you need to get your crap together! We had reserved a 20' truck to help my mother move, we were sent our email that confirmed our reservation for a 20' truck at the location closest to us. We even spoke to a lady on the phone and she confirmed the 20' truck at that location! My mother and brother get to the location NO 20 FOOT TRUCK!! They only have a 15' the 20' truck was at a location an HOUR AWAY!!! She decided against it and came home. Was AGAIN CONTACTED THROUGH EMAIL SAYING THAT A 20' FOOT TRUCK WAS AVAILABLE! This time I went with my mother to the location and guess what happened.... NO 20 FOOT TRUCK!! AGAIN!!! We just ended getting the 15 Foot because at this point and with the time we had it was our ONLY CHOICE! This was ridiculous as long as uhaul has been around things like this shouldn't happen! I would say it was a mistake but I've read multiple other reviews and heard stories from people I know personally that have had similar things happen to them. I will never use u haul again and I will personally tell everyone i can to never use u haul. Your business can not be trusted!Birdie H.

I ORIGINALLY BOOKED TO PICK UP IN SOMERVILLE. I asked the guy on the phone 3 times if he was sure it was in Somerville. He assured me that it was. I checked my email and it was booked for Eads, TN. That would have added 40 miles. At 79 cents a mlie--no thanks!! I called and they said that there was nothing available for Somerville, so I settled for Oakland which still added 20 miles. I saw that there was a 50 $guarantee that the rental would be available after booking, but I don't guess that giant run around qualified.Leanne R.

This was such a small store and in an out of the way location (but extremely convenient to me and our whole community!) that I was leary. But what a nice surprise! The woman and man (I am sorry I didn't get their names, I think they were the owners) were so extremely helpful in getting my truck in and the trailer parked (I am not the expert trailer puller, that was my husband. I was just returning the trailer.). I am looking forward to going back to eat lunch at their store!Helen T.

This location was accessible all weekend which is a huge plus for them. Many locations not available except for Monday thru Friday, making it difficult for weekend moves.Robin G.
The overall experience was horrible. The first place I had reserved did not have the truck so I was sent to a location further away. I called them to say I was on my way and when I arrived the person who could work the computer had gone to lunch. 40 minutes later with kids and family in the car she was still not back. I was able to complete the transaction over the phone but it turns out this dealer did not have the equipment I had reserved. I was sent to a third dealer even further away where we were very well treated. I lost 4 hours of moving time and had to pay for more miles on the truck use than I was promised. I was given one 50 $dollar credit for the first dealer not fulfilling the agreement. It is hard to put into words how frustrating this day was for my family and me. I will never use U-Haul again and I will never recommend this company to anyone ever again. U-Hauls failures on these two attempts cost me time and money. It was not what we agreed to.Stephen W.

When I arrived to pick up my truck as registered 2 nights prior, the inside of the Uhaul was completed wet! I told the lady showing us the truck and she completely ignored me! I also told the owner at the counter who blatantly stated, 'we looked and there was no leak so it's probably just rain." I was completely floored. Have the booked and confirmed equipment ready, charge only for what the customer agreed to in the booking, stop the racial harassment of requiring that the customer hold his drivers license next to his head for a mugshot. Retrain your phone customer service, replace the regional manager because he thinks his job is only decorative.Ursula R.
Location/personnel very nice, just a sort of remote location and â€œscary.â€ for us out-of-towner folks. It rained unbelievably hard and the rain came in the truck and got some of my furniture and mattresses wet. We had a 3 Hour Drive and unloaded immediately so we noticed quickly and were able to dry off the furniture before it ruined. The trucks should seal better.Lee A S.
