Truck was not well maintained. Windshield washer pump not working, could not clean windows while driving. Smell of exhaust in cab of truck. Oil light came on when truck was started on last day of rental, making us late for drop off time and requiring us to get fuel in gas cans to avoid gas charges, was charged for an extra day because of being a couple hours late to make sure truck could make it to drop off location 10km distance, after talking to uhaul mechanic.Wyneeta O.

The truck was not at the location and they sent my husband to go and get it himself. When he opened it up it REAKED of marijuana. When my husband asked about it the guy confirmed someone had transported marijuana in it and they can't the smell out. He suggested my husband drive down the Hwy with the door up to â€œair it outâ€. They lost our original booking and had to redo it. The dolly that we ordered was not included. We had people waiting to help Us move so we had to use the truck and now all our items have the lovely smell of marijuana permeating from them.Kelly T.
No one told me all this information worst customer service I've ever had. Everyone I've talked to seems not be a human and have any understanding to the situation. When I originally made the reservation I clicked the link that I want all that basic safe towing insurance now because I wasn't told the insurance is null and void even though I've called many times asking for some service. If this isn't corrected and as a paying customer given the basic respect we are going to have a problem that is not going to go away that isn't a threat it is a promise. Just so you know it's the person I have spoken to in Regina told me that I do have the insurance on the trailer like I had originally asked for. You emailing me along with the several calls from uhaul reps all telling me different things confirms that the company's lack of communication between y'all is crazy. I am going to send you the number of the rep that I dealt with in Regina Sk he has told me that the insurance that I originally asked for has been given to me. 306-529-3784. If you'd like to check with him that would be great. My use of this trailer is almost done and there has been 0 issues or damage, but the fact that I've been told that I'm not allowed to purchase insurance that I already signed up for and paid for is crazy from my perspective. The circumstances around me having to drive a total of 4 hours after business hours to pick up this trailer so I can have access to it on the date that I booked it for over a month in advance is horrible service. I was then threatened by another uhaul rep accusing me of basically stealing the trailer when it was another uhaul rep that told me to do it in the first place! Like what the hell kind of business is this! I was first told to go pick up the trailer at a time where there was no way I could make it there during business hours and was told it was okay to pick up the trailer anyway. Then over 24hrs later get a hostile call saying that the trailer was never insured or dispatched when I wasn't told that I have to do any of that is fucked up that it's my job to guess that's what I'm supposed to do. That one uhaul representative that was talking over me when I was trying to explain the strange circumstances of how things played out and accusing me of doing something wrong she should get fired if that's how she treats paying customers. This is not over and I will be continuing to raise my concerns and issues with your customer service however I can. I've just been too busy moving to put focus on this poor service. Also the front driver side tire on the trailer I had was completely fucking bare and I wasn't surprised when it popped when I got if the ferry in Victoria on a busy highway with my two children in the truck. When looking at the tire it was a huge safety concern to have on the road let alone the specific trailer that I had to take out of province and drive hours away to pick up in the first place. We waited over 2 and half hours for the road side person to get it fixed. We missed the time that our storage unit place was open and again were extremely inconvenienced. This was the shittiest trailer and the worst service I've ever had from a company. If I was a billionaire I would buy this company so that I can fire most everyone and set fire to all the equipment so that more people are not treated like this or ten or their children not at risk. I can't believe Uhaul has still charged me a single dollar. BenBenjamin W.

The staff were very friendly and helpful my rental order was mixed up though I needed a tow dolly and they were told a 6x12 trailer but it turned out well in the long run. I do however think that when getting a quote online it should come with the taxes already added in, thank youBRENDA O.
