Sarah AThere are three locations within 1/4 of a mile of Lake Murray self storage. This property needs work and two of the three locations have steep driveways which make pulling a trailer more challenging. Given more knowledge ahead of time, I probably would have picked a location which was easier to rent the equipment. The 6x12 trailer was in better shape with newer tires/rims.

Danny CThe service at this location is poor. This is a rental pickup only location, and the attendant was not competent at handling the transaction. She did not think I had made the correct type of rental, so she tried to override it. I had to give her some of the information three times as she tried to set it up. I had booked and pre-checked in to minimize pickup time. When she attempted to put the reset to my original request, the base rental rate increased by $35. She couldn't figure out how to fix it. She contacted an area field manager who attempted to walk her through correcting it. They still were not able to fix it.
Robert AThe lady was very friendly, however she had other customers and a dog inside and would not let me in to complete the reservation. Also, there was a lock on the back of the truck that we never got the code for and when we got to the place to pick up the items it took longer than it should because of the lock.

The Lake Murray location representative (Janet) was AWESOME & very kind, helpful and understanding. Call direct to this location for GREAT service! Do NOT use Uhaul.com.

Thomas FScheduled with one location which Vance Horton was great and offered help. Then text sent me to another location and personal there not helpful. Couldn't help us with lifting trailer as Vance had promised. Ordered open trailer and got closed in one. Trailer lights weren't working at first and was told wasn't compatible with our plug. But it did work after resetting the plug. Wanted call back number and she gave me the wrong number. Horrible experience.

elizabeth aThe AC compressor or something related to the air conditioning died on the very warm day that I was traveling. It was exhausting trying to finish my trip with heat from the dog house on my feet and temps above 95 F in the cab.

HEATH SVery narrow area to return at, had to slide a 20 foot truck in between 3 trucks awaiting pick up and the wall. Didn't have proper signage for U-Haul, except the key box.

Carlos GThere was a last minute change in my pickup location. UHaul called me to advise of the change. I was driving and asked that they email me the location information. Well, I didn't get that email BUT fortunately the new location called me to ensure I knew where to pick up the truck from.
Susan PTrailer looks very old, rusted wheel, friends following me said all lights not working. Website rerouted me to this location although I changed to a more familiar location several times.

ANGELA SThere was a lot of play in the steering wheel, maybe needs to be checked out. I was told I would get 40 miles free and was charged for the full amount. Ashley from Lake Murray Uhaul told me that Tim from Home Town Motors had given me 40 miles free because the truck was over 20 miles away for pick up. No de contrat 93789568
MARY CSales person very nice. Office smelled badly of cigarette smoke. No smoking while I was in there, but very heavy smell. Most people may not notice, but I am very sensitive to cigarette smoke. Again, sales rep was very nice and helpful. I would return again if I need another trailer.

ROBERT BTruck cab had dog hair in it, and the passenger cab window had dog slobber and nose prints all over it.
