I was told I would get a 200,00 $ discount on the rental because a 10 foot truck was unavailable, but did not. Because I had to use a 15 foot truck (which was overkill) I spent twice as much for fuel. This is totally unacceptable. This responsibility lays squarely with U haul Corporation.

The customer service via phone is absolutely horrific with wait times of a minimum of 20 minutes. You will listen to hundreds of repetitions of how you should go on line to solve your issue (other than one or two things, nothing else is solvable on line and you start over at bottom of the queue. Sometimes when you get an actual person, it turns out they can't help and you get put on hold all over again. When you get an actual person they are great, professional and helpful as they can be, but by the time you get to them your nerves are frazzled from the endless repetitions of sales pitches for on line solutions and you have missed phone calls or directions on your phone. I absolutely dread having to rent from UHaul again, but they are better than the competition for one way rentals. In actuality the equipment and facilities are clean and well managed and the people are great, but the incessant phone holds are horrible. Managers at UHaul should be required to call into their system every month with a non-standard problem to see how bad this is. The poor rating is simply to get your attention, as said earlier, the real people and facilities are excellent.

First the lady took forever didn't know know what she was doing and it was my first time renting and she didn't explain about then gas mileage overage or that when filled it up because it was under a fourth of tank and I took back on half a tank of gas I couldn't get my money back. Customer support poor I took back a day early and more gas and no money back after paying 495 dollars and putting 117 in gas and then charged me almost 7 dollars for a few miles over. I would pay someone off the street to help me move before I rent from uhaul period.

I will be calling later. Not only was this one of the worst experiences I have ever had. My brakes are not working o no my vehicle. The truck was dirty. Smelled of cigarettes. Garbage under the seats. The inside of the loading area was dirty. Smelled of cigarettes smoke. A eight and half hour drive took me twelve hours. One reason being issues with the trailer.

The original drop off location Cheyenne Motors wasn't open and this has been a problem in the past. Suggest they not be a uhaul location in the future.

I was charged for things I didnt get. I did not get the appliance dolly I requested. And I wasn't able to get my truck until 9 when I reserved it for 8. 115.oo for a 6 hour 20 ft rental with no equipment. that is ridiculous.

The reps here are untrained (not their fault). Too many problems to write here, but the problem goes deeper than just this location. I was contacted by what I assume was a regional rep out of the Richmond, VA area (804 area code) concerning problems with getting the trailer checked out this morning.I was hung up on by one of the two (yes two) reps that called me just a few minutes apart. Getting checked back in later in the day proved challenging as well. I also would have been overcharged by ~ 80,00 $ had I not confirmed my charges. Overall, this experience was a train wreck.I feel lucky to have accomplished my moving goals today.

Get the Clarksville folks some internet service...lol..the girl had to use her own phone to help us get going. Not actually a fault of that business, just rural and not a lot of signal there. Wonderful experience. So easy. Highly recommend you guys.

I tried to get help renting a truck from this location. However NO ONE on the inside were ofhelp! I was told by 2 employees to go online and reserve a truck. !!! I went to South Boston and got excellent service right away! The girl in South Boston was VERY helpful!

This location is 25 miles from our old home but we were forced to drive that distance because of problems at two local U-Haul places. This location had a truck and were able to pick up the pieces from 2 cluster-f***s before them.

This was a retail minute mart there was no one to help me with the trailer. I dropped off the trailer a day ahead of schedule at 4:45pm.. They didn't log it in until the due date so I did not get a refund for days not used.

This location does not have a 24 hour drop box. In this day and age, I would take this for granted. I had to come back during regular business hours to drop off the key. I live over 30 minutes away. All together, I lost over two hours of my life dealing with the inadequacies of this location as well as the personnel at this location and the U-Haul call center. The lady from the call center actually seemed to think it was comical for me to have to drive back to drop off the keys. Really? I would suggest that either all locations have the capability of 24 hour drop off OR display this fact more prominently on the website when choosing locations.

I was told twice, once over the phone when trying to confirm the pick up (per the text I received from U-Haul) and then in person that we were not a priority customer, so if another customer came in their store that they would have to be helped first, because it's also a convenience store. On the day of pick up, after 45 minutes I was told that it was going to cost more money than what I was given by the online order. When I asked about it, I was told that they have no control over that and that's it's U-Haul corporate. I was told by another U-Haul location that it wasn't the case and we shouldn't have been charged extra. I hope to NEVER have to deal with them again.

The associate working had no access to the Ipad that controls the reservations. The manager was off and wouldn't answer the phone. I called the night before to see if everything was ready for that morning. I waited for over an hour until the Richmond , Virginia office helped me.

This was not the locations fault but I didnt find out until the evening before renting that the first location didn't have the truck I wanted. The nearest one was about 25 miles further and a larger truck. I was charged for the larger truck even though it wasn't what I ordered and since I had to backtrack I had to pay for the 25 miles back to where I should have started. The person doing the paperwork claimed they couldn't adjust the price for the larger truck or for the mileage.

I had to drive an extra 30 miles to turn in this vehicle. I was told when I picked up the vehicle that I would turn it in only 10 miles from my location. Once I loaded the truck, I received a message stating that I had to drive an addition 30 miles to turn in the truck. This caused me to go over the estimated miles and be late turning in the truck. See the other comments. I was charged an additional 54 $due to U-haul's poor communication and workers that don't know how to do their jobs. The additional charges will be disputed and I do not plan on ever using U-Haul again as well as telling my friends to stay away.

Better training for staff. Young lady did her best to help me but had limited knowledge of how to handle the process. She did call someone to help her through the process. What should have taken 10-15 min took almost an hour. NOT HER FAULT at all....she had NO training. She did her best!!!

Make sure your employees know how to do the Equipment and have some there that know how and be on phone trying to get someone that can help her and also if you're uhall is at a gas station tell the customer so just want be riding around trying gps it and has relocated so it took me 1hr trying to find locations and get charged full price but they want ready I thank I Deserve a gift card or something for my inconvenience it took longer deny expected when it shouldn't have been clarksville poor place of busyness
