It took over 35 minutes to complete the checkout process. Even had to go outside to validate which trailer number was the type of trailer I had rented. Attendant required two phone calls to support to complete reservation. Seems there was a technical issue on the back end that was the main reason for the delay.Colby H.

First my reservation was moved to this location. Which we ended up using 20 miles we didnt plan on. i was told I would be able to retrieve the truck before they were open using the truck share. Well we get there not possible because no one put the keys in the lock box we had to push our movers back 2,5 hours. Then we get there the rep is no help her systems are down and we cant get the truck share option to work on our phones there two other customers having the same issue. Finally after 20 mins of calling customer service and trying to get a code to show the rep we get it and find out the equipment we also reserved was not on the truck and the rep once again had no desire and remeding im fixing this. When we arrived to return we were told they would not except and that did not have room. We went to two other U-Haul locations and both were not open. There offices were not impressive and hard to tell they were U-Haul. We spent lots of time looking for someone and find a place to turn around with 18ft trailer. Both these places were close together on US 41 Land o Lakes Blvd in Land O Lakes, FL. After many calls I finally got a U-Haul Rep named Tony. He said take it back to the drop off location on my paperwork and drop it there. He said they must take it. I backed in a parking location and dropped it there. A rep finally come out. To Improve: make sure the location for drop can handle us. Also make sure the customer knows to drop it there and they don't have to run all over town looking for another drop off place. I would like to be compensated for all the time, confusion, and U-Hauls not being open in daytime. Also personnel not being professional or even greeting you with some sort of reasonable care. I got a fix it ticket due to no driving tail lights. Signals worked but other cars couldn't see me driving down the road. I contacted mt. Loafer and they said to turn in my receipts on the temporary lights and I'll be reimbursed. I put all receipts in the contract and dropped it in the drop box and then DIDNT GET REIMBURSED AND GOT CHARGED AN AFTER HOURS DROP OFF FEE!! I had to drop it in the box for the receiptsBrig B.

This has nothing to do with the cashiers they don't have enough employees but they take on the responsibility of helping customers with lotto and gas so the people who are renting uhuals have poor service long waiting periods etc it would be nice if they would hire someone to help us or stop offering the service because they can not manage both at this timeJoann S.

Some how messed my reservation up by checking me out with the wrong size truck and not a one way reservation like I booked. Don't know how they did that but I was charged the wrong amount for a bigger truck and had major issues dropping off the truck across the state a few days later because they had me dropping it back off to them.JEFFREY H.

Then I was not made aware that traveling more than a certain amount of miles would result in an additional $100+ dollar fee when dropping the truck off. 2nd time I've rented from this location and no one knows what they are doing. Issues both times with the billing. It's clear they are not checking in the rentals with the correct miles or making sure the rentals are clean inside the cab and the back of the trailers.JOE F.
The Uhaul dealer here has no clue what they are doing. It took them over an hour to get us our Uhaul and they didn't give us the equipment we rented in addition to the truck. The truck was in terrible condition, the brakes barely worked, the horn didn't work, and the AC was broken (we were moving in July in the FL). All of these issues are health and safety concerns. I highly doubt they had the mileage recorded correctly when we got in the truck because the person could barely find the truck that we rented. They admitted they had no clue how to work the system to successfully rent us the truck which is why it took them over an hour. Management/owners never trained their employees on the Uhaul rentals clearly. We also were charged an additional $97 dollars upon returning the truck which makes no sense. We returned the truck cleaned out. We did not fold the furniture pads because it was not explained to us that we needed to do so or we would be charged. Please please advise. I already called and submitted a complaint on Monday 7/18 but I have not heard back. I feel like we should be refunded, the truck put our lives and other lives on the road in danger and I don't think the amount we have been charged is even correct due to the incompetence at this gas station. They were not able to process my card and I had to wait for over an hour. I explained that it was on their end because 3 different card accounts were not working. They refused to call and get help, but instead used their personal phones to try to process my card. Finally, they realized it was on their end and followed the instructions to do an offline authorization. But not before they saved my card number into their phone and used it for Uber later, which means I had to order a whole new card and open a fraud investigation with my bank.Sarah M.

No complaints about locations or equipment. My issue is with communication and charges. It wasn't clearly called out that my rental pickup location was different than the one I requested. They confirmed my order and gave me the address but I don't memorize addresses, so without blatantly calling out that the location has changed I didn't know. So I waited almost an hour at the wrong location, so I picked up my rental later and further away than expected. I barely missed the 4pm deadline and got charged for an extra day. Customer service was amazing. The vehicle on the other hand, was not. It had a tire that was almost completely flat when I picked it up. The A/C randomly stopped blowing cold numerous times.
