if you are going to rent a uhaul talk to l &l auto first to set it up. l&l auto was very kind and curtious to me. I called uhaul directly big mistake they are a bunch of morons . plus uhaul called 5 times to collect money that they already had uhaul in my mind gets -10 stars

I have used this location three times. They are very courteous, the rentals are clean. Any questions I have, they are more that helpful answering. They have a key drop which is great. You can return the rental after business hours. Great local business.

We noted on the application the phone number to contact me. You called the wrong number to advise that the pick up location had been changed so I went to the location on the contract to find I had to travel several miles (26), the next day. I had to miss part of my trip. I expect U-haul to compensate me for me extra miles as it was clearly your mistake.

Your customer service was awful making the reservation. 6 phone calls!!!! And the woman that called us back from Fairport NY number was so rude and downright nasty we originally cancelled the reservation.

I ordered a uhaul close to my home and was told one truck available . Uhaul emailed me and told me a smaller truck was all that was available and I had to pic it up 18 miles away. Uhaul now charges me 36 miles from when I picked it up and drove to my home and another 18 miles to return. That’s a scam and social media complaints from other customers say the same thing. They order locally only to be told it’s further away

We were not satisfied that we had to wait 50 minutes for service due to the door flying up so fast that the handle/door got stuck. That's 50 minutes that was wasted. Plus the 20 more it took for him to fix it. However, the guy who fixed it was very nice.

Made and confirmed reservation for Cuba, NY however day before pickup was advised equipment would not be available at agreed location but at a location over 35miles away (1 way) This 70 mile of inconvenience was accepted as no other rental were. available. Partial reimbursement for cost should be considered?

I rented a cargo van. Went 2 miles picked up 1 box returned truck, was not near Any structures they charged me a 150 dollar damage fee! I was told this place has done similar fraudulent charges. Do not rent from them and I will not use uhaul again. And willl spread the word.

Watch your billing! Website says 59c per mile, was billed 69c per mile! NOTHING on website says higher rates on weekends! $48 was put on hold for my account. I wad billed TWICE for a total of $101.37! For a 9' cargo van! Picked up at 10am, dropped off by 6pm. They took the $46 outta my account, but claimed a remaining balance of $16, which wasn't in my account for them to take, do they charged me an additional $30! My total comes to $46.49, which is within the $47 They put on hold in my bank account! $19.95 for the rental, $12.80 for the mileage (20 miles @ .59/mile) $10.00 for the insurance, and $3.74 for the tax! I will NEVER use Uhaul again! Oh, by the way, when I called a week ago to dispute it, they refunded me $11.00! $90 total for use of a van for a couple hours!

The tires on the vehicle were not fit to be on bicycle! I know it was winter time, snowy conditions, but I would tell anyone I know NEVER rent a Uhaul in the winter. They are not fit to be on the road. You would think the company would be more concerned about customers safety, and that of their own vehicle.

This place charged me for gas and cleaning the next day. I took the uhaul to a car wash and cleaned it for about an hour and put extra gas, over the amount I was supposed to in it. I will never drop a uhaul off at this location again.

L&L Auto Supply helped after I was placed in a difficult situation by Upstate Auto in Holland NY. A week before my move I reserved a Truck at Upstate & Rich assured one of was available 9/30. I did think it was unusual that he wrote my information down rather than enter it into the computer at his desk. When I arrived at the agreed to time, no U-Haul was available and of course there was no record of my reserving a vehicle. The person who was at Upstate, Crystal, was absolutely of no help. Sitting at the same desk and computer that Rich was at earlier she would not or could not search for another truck. As I passed by L&L auto I saw he had a Van. He was very helpful and my move was completed on time. I feel that Upstate Auto in Holland NY is a very poor representative of your company that I have occasionally used in the past. The people were rude, incompetent, and obviously totally computer illiterate. Again, I wish to express my gratitude & satisfaction with L&L for helping me last Saturday. Barry Mason 716-662-0459

LNL was amazing. Corporate needs to give a truck to this location in addition to a cargo van. I wanted a 26 foot vehicle and would have had to drive an hour. This is unacceptable and never used to be the case. LNL is a great resource, but Corporate is not fully utilizing this asset

The truck had mud in the back that wasn't cleaned out. I used the truck to move a new couch. I got mud all over the box of the couch, all over my shirt and jeans and into my house. Then i was over charged. I hope that's been fixed. I shouldn't have had to pay, because it cost me more to clean up.

Not too happy with you all at this point reserved online went to pick up the next morning at a location they had nothing available the day before U-Haul had came and took all his equipment. So then had to call U-Haul which spoke to a very rude lady that directed me to go to the arcade for a pickup and told me I would not get a $50 discount like it claimed online had to drive 140 miles to pick up and return unit so not very happy with U-Haul at this point.

The week before I rented a truck in buffalo to bring all my family’s things camping for the week. everything went great that day I thought to myself I would do this every year it was very convenient . then I got a call about the reservations on this truck and told it was the closest location to me. I was aware that the location that I dropped the truck off may not be the same place I was going to pick one up but I didn't think I would have to drive an Hour and fifteen minutes to get it then drive back to camp then another hour and a half back home. I was informed that uhall had no trucks and was overbooked this weekend. as a trucking company I find that an issue. I did get the truck and got home safe and sound. other than the long ride to pick it up Saturday I would do this every year.

I did not get name of man who helped me but he was there at 5 pm on May 27. I had an accident and had to rent a Uhaul quickly. He not only stayed after closing to take care of me but he also connected a new hitch to my truck. great guy! Great customer service.

Customer service was terrible I was mistreated, truck wasn't clean. The truck only had a half tank of gas.. The never came outside to look the truck over with me..I got insurance on the truck but he never had me sign the insurance contract.. The truck was dirty and smelled like a dead animal.. I'm not happy at all and would like a full refund.. Also I feel like you guys owe me a personal apology and some kind of compensation.. Thank u

You could m give more accurate pickup times. I was told I could pick up the trailer at noon on the the day we needed to load it. I decided to check on it at 10 AM and was told it had been sitting there for a week. We finished loading after dark.

I was supposed to pick up my UHaul in Caneada and a day before UHaul changed it to Arcade. I had to drive an additional 40 mikes one way for pickup. Then the pick up location either stole or lost my drivers license & credit card all in 10 minutes. The individual never handed me my credit card or drivers license back. I had to cancel my credit card, call the State Police and now have to get a new drivers license.
