The U-Haul representative was rude and very curt. He did not do a walk around the vehicle with me - I didn't ask because I didn't know it was supposed to be done. There was no dolly in the truck, there was damage, and the interior was dirty.

The dolly I ordered was not with the truck and none was available. The truck pulled to the right and was no fun to drive. The windshield washer fluid was empty, and I didn't know it until I needed it.

Give them the option for insurance or not. I had to pay $56 for insurance automatically and I carry GOOD insurance that covers everything I drive.

They couldn't find my reservation at first. I had to call another store, and that person had to tell them how to find the reservation. Once that happened, all went well.

I reserved my truck almost a month in advance. The day before my move, I was told there weren't any trucks in my area and I would have to travel 3 hrs round trip to pick up a truck in another city. After getting help from a manager they were able to find one hour away. This was still extremely inconvenient... To have to recruit a friend to drive me on a 2hour round trip the day of my move. Not only that but I was charged for equipment I never received and my truck had slightly less gas than stated so I was charged for additional gas at the drop off, even though I had to burn over 30 gal of gas to pick up the truck plus getting it to my home. Horrible experience with so much miss communication inside of Uhaul, that I will be sure this does not happen again to me or any friends or family.

This location was a disappointment. The employee couldn't find the keys to the truck we originally rented, so told us he'd give the same deal as quoted...Well, he ended up charging $200 extra. And messing up our drop off location and time. In addition, giving us a truck that hadn't been cleaned. (Smelt of smoke and had pet hair) Thankfully the phone representative and her boss(?) Michael Cauchon understood the scenario and were quick to refund the overage, plus gave us some additional credit.

Don't use a chevron as a u-haul pick up point. They weren't able to accommodate much, even after changing my pick up location because the original u-haul center didn't have the truck there.

At check out my app would not work at all. It was very frustrating after a long day of packing the truck and then unpacking it! But the associate that came out to do the return process for me was absolutely wonderful. Merci.

This general manager was excellent. He knew what he was talking about and gave us the right fees and info. He explained how its 0,99 mile while the other general manager at compass uhaul told us its 0,4 mile.

1. I made my reservation and paid online for a 10 foot truck 2. Upon arrival, I was told my reservation was not found and the store employee said we have to do a new reservation. Once that was complete he said the contract had not gone through system and he would need to repeat the reservation again. 3. I then decided to reserve a 15 foot truck. I gave the address of the Uhaul closest to my move to the employee twice to verify correct drop off location. After the transaction was final, I then received the contract and noticed that the drop off location was not in the original location I had request. The location was actually 3 hours away. 4. When I asked the employee to please correct, he said he could not and placed a note on the contract. 5. I called Uhaul customer service and was told that I would need to contact original location. I then called the Largo Chevron and spoke to the same employee that said he could correct it not and it would need to be changed by Uhaul customer service. I then called Uhaul customer service and she stated she could not change the drop location due to the Chevron being in a different region. I then contacted Chevron again. The employee then spoke to the store owner whom said he would take care of changing the location. Two hours later, I contacted Uhaul customer service and was told it was being handled internally. On Sunday, I received a text with the drop location of Oakland Park, which was 3 hours away. I then called Uhaul customer service and spoke to Heather whom was able to change the drop of location and request a refund as I had been billed twice. Once the 10 foot truck and once for the 15 foot truck. This caused multiple charges to my credit card and several hours on the phone trying to correct the drop off location and correction of extra charges.

Clean the truck as I found bread and other stuff under seats. Gas was below a 1/4 of a tank and as I am disabled in a wheelchair this was very inconvenient. Location didn't have the unit ready took a lot longer than I expected epically after doing an online check in. Dealer seemed confused and kept asking if I knew a Robert Smith. Found no lock box to drop the keys off to and we spent 10 minutes looking for one. Rental area was very small and not convenient for someone in a wheelchair. No walk around was performed???

Make sure A/C works prior to pickup. Wasted time bringing it home to have to return it. However, the location willingly gave us a bigger truck at the same cost as the smaller truck because that was all that was available to replace the unit with the broken A/C

Understand the details of the small print regarding fuel. The tank was empty. I was told to bring it back empty. The small print said there would be a charge if not brought back with a quarter tank - REGARGLESS if it was empty or not.

I wasn't greeted by an employee. There was no clear designated location for U-Haul customers. The gentleman that excepted my return just told me to leave the key with him and he would take care of everything and I would get an email later. Didn't seem like a well rounded experience because the return was left open ended with no receipt of return. I was luckily able to receive a return email 5 hours later.

The truck was filthy. Looked like soda and cigarette ashes all over the front of the vehicle. In today's covid fearing society they are lucky I am not one who freaked out and caused havoc. I could have demanded a refund and went somewhere else. I am not a confrontational person so I did not go back in the store and stand up for myself on this matter. They did not do a walk around with me,or adjust my mirrors,but in they're defense I have only had one pickup place do that with/for me and maybe its not required just an extra that the exceptional person (james) did to go above n beyond at the park blvd location. I have rented 4 trucks from u haul and will be renting another one in acouple weeks. I will refuse to pick up at the largo chevron gas station/uhaul. I forgot to mention that I had to sweep out the back of the truck before I could load all my stuff in it. I couldn't put my bed thru the piles of actual dirt. I took pictures of everything becuz I didn't want the $25 charge. Also....the 2 people I've dealt with twice in wadawee Alabama (Delores n Ronnie) are super nice

My recommendation is to check the battery, I managed to fulfill my objective which was to make my move, but just when I left it at the chevron gas station which is where it is located, I was filling the tank to deliver it and the battery did not work anymore. The truck had the packaging that is in the back open, with the items to be paid for outside the bag.

There is a uhaul self serve box outside but you have to go inside to obtain the keys. I recommend making self serve and use the code boxes outside for those of us that prefer that.

The pick up was a hot mess and took way too long. The person didn't seem to have the right information for drop off (it was correct on line) then there were issues with their system and it took multiple times for the signature to come up and they had no paper to print out my reciept.

I rented a U-Haul and the tire blew and it took them 3 hours to come to me to change the tire m. The person dispatched didn't even say hello or that he was sorry it took so long. Every time I called they kept telling me another 15 minutes and 3 hours later you die coded to show up then you guys charged me the full amount... very disappointing considering I lost valuable time!!
