Larry MGreat location. Use google maps to route to location. Apple maps takes you to the wrong address. Google maps will route you to the appropriate address.

YUAN STruck was dirty in the back. There was also wood slacks left behind. The address on the U-Haul app also doesn't match the actual location.
Jada SThe truck and trailer were both completely unsafe to drive. The truck frame was diamond, the wheel was 2 inches pushed back and the camber was well beyond what's safe (very noticeable while turning at speed). The truck threw multiple codes for traction control throughout the drive and did not do well at all turning. The steering wheel had to be turned more than 45 degrees to the left to drive straight and vibrated constantly due to being way out of alignment. The trailer had a skirt that was less than an inch from touching the tires and was ripped out of the front bolts due to previous damage. This was able to be hammered out but the trailer brakes kept sticking up and down hills making the truck jerk back and forth violently at times throughout the drive. Both rentals were completely unsafe to drive and I honestly can't believe that someone incompetently overlooked all of this especially because all of the issues had "quick claim" stickers on it. When I dropped off the truck and trailer I pointed the issues out to the U-Haul rep, who couldn't believe that the other location gave me these rentals. He could see the very obvious frame and suspension damage and explained that they never should have been rented out in the first place and that they would put them into service immediately so that no one else would have to drive something as unsafe and those rentals. I work in the autobody field and we fix box trucks. We would absolutely not ever let out something with this damage as it's extremely dangerous and the liability alone should have been enough for someone to not let these be rented. It's inconceivable that someone thought these were safe to drive from Texas to Missouri. The truck had even had tires put on very recently before I picked up the rental (almost new tread on the tires at pickup which was ruined by the time I dropped it off) so someone would have had to ignore these damages to replace the tires without repairing the bent frame, suspension, and alignment. Thank God we were able to make it to Missouri without any major incidents but we should not have been put in the unsafe rentals in the first place. I plan to call corporate to complain and expect a reimbursement of some kind for the hazardous rentals given but I have held off as I am enraged that these are what I was given to drive. This is also not including the car dolley I was given that was apparently a unit that went missing 2 years prior that also had damage to the skirt.

Steve AStormy was very kind and helpful; I called the day before my reservation to confirm (because the app is terrible) and she originally thought she might not have a dolly available, which I absolutely needed or I would've canceled the whole thing and been screwed. Stormy said I could call back late in the day to see if one was returned, but she ended up calling me before our agreed upon time and left me a lovely voicemail to let me know that she did, in fact, have a Dolly ready for me. I really appreciated her following up on that without me even having to call back, because she didn't have to. I then met her briefly when I turned in the truck and she was very sweet. The excellent customer service was greatly appreciated!! My only complaint (and I guess this is more toward the app) is that the morning of was incredibly stressful because there were still steps to complete before I could get the truck; I would've uploaded my license and put in my employer info. way before if I'd had the options, but they didn't pop up until 6:00 am the morning of my reservation. The confusion and just app glitches set me back so much that the reservation expired and I had to call anyone to walk me through it all anyway. That part was super annoying and I wouldn't recommend navigating the app to anyone; I'd recommend someone just calling a location directly and talking to a human because the app is way too frustrating.

Elio Cthe app was difficult to figure out how to activate the rental on morning of pickup. When returning the rental, I was charged an extra $10 because Uhaul location on maps didn't match the actual physical location of the dirt lot for drop off.

Elma VYou need to get the app in sync with the location. I reserved for 11:30, but they didn't open until 12:00. I used the auto check out and thankfully they were pulling in as I was leaving with the trailer. Ended up the app "worked" for me, but did not show up in your reservation system that it was completed accurately. I showed them the screen on my app, and we compared it to the reservation screen at their desk. Thankfully, the employees were wonderful people.
