I was charged a late fee when I was not late!!!! The rental was returned at 12:45 pm on 11/17/2022. The person unhooking the rental asked me if I would like my receipt e mailed or a hard copy, like a dumb ass I said e mail was fine. The bill stated that I returned rental at 2:58 pm. NOT EVEN CLOSE!!!!!!! We can settle this one of two ways. Either you credit my account, or I will personally collect from the location #24 in Oregon City.Terry B.

The guys there were kinda rude. Fought over who was going to be helping me to get the equipment out and secured. Made me feel like I was inconveniencing thenBraylin M.
I was called 30 minutes prior to my pick up time was advised the equipment was not available. I was offered an upgraded equipment at same cost and I approved. When I arrived the only person who could handle the transaction was not available. I clerk at the store got her on the phone and I was told the equipment was not available and implied no other options were available thus leaving me with the feeling of being stranded. So much for a GUARANTEED RESERVATION. I told here the reservation was made well enough in advance to make sure they had the requested equipment. She gave the age old excuse that the had been short on staff. Just an excuse and a failure to provide proper customer service. I will not trust this location to "EVER" have the proper equipment on hand when a GUARANTEED reservation is made. I will not recommend this U-HAUL location to anyoneTom L.

Make sure the mechanics of the truck are working. Us customers shouldn't have to check the oil and breaks to make sure there properly working. Also i paid way more then i shoild have and had to put more gas in the truck on top of what i paidGarrett B.

Best u-haul experience i have had, excellent location.Mark L.
make sure the tank is full. We got stuck paying for 5,5 gallons and we only went 12 miles. The needles was on the F (full) mark when we drove off so we had no idea it truly wasn't full. the clerk was a jerk when we brought this to his attention but didn''t care. Also so many "added" extra charges that were not disclosed. will look elsewhere next timeRichard K.

We rented a 20ft truck and the tire tread separated on the front drivers side tire while I'm going 65mph. The tire looked pretty worn out to begin with, but I got very lucky it didn't blow out.Charles H.
The equipment was in horrible shape, and had an exhaust leak. It was also gutless when climbing hills. Numerous items of trash left inside the cab. This was my fourth rental in the last two months and by far the worst.Robert T.

I rented a cargo trailer, they hooked it up to my truck then I was told that they did not have the correct wiring harness for my vehicle ( Newer Cadillac Escalade ) so they unhooked it and made me drive to a parts store and purchase an adapter then come back. So on top of the rental fee it cost me an additional $18 and 30 minutes of wasted time. Would be nice if the rental place had the proper equipment to rent out trailers ect.Brett L.

Customer service was more interested in smoke breaks then helping me. Zero information or even customer contact made with me unless I asked a specific question. Allowed me to wait knowing what I needed but did not offer help, Waited for me to again ask to be given keys before getting off cell phone to assist. Rude woman running show showed no interest in directing employees or assisting, spent time glaring at everyone seated in chair outside smoking and talking badly about people with whoever was nearby listening. Never again will I rent a U-Haul. The fuel was 1/4 at pick up. The drivers windshield wiper was broken and came off. I fueled it, bought a new wiper and dropped it off early. The return site just said leave it in back. No thank you or sorry for your trouble.mike G.

I did not sign up for Safe Move during my online contract initiation. When I got my e receipt after I returned the truck after driving just 10 miles, I saw an additional charge of $14. I drove back to the Shell Station, where the nice fellow referred to a phone customer service area (that I called today) who couldn't really help me, but she did confirm I did NOT sign up for Safe Move. Apparently I am in a 72 hour holding pattern for the refund. This amount should have been given back to me when I returned to the Shell Station after I noticed the bogus charge.Robb J.

The truck was clean. The maintenance poor. The steering wheel was 45Â° to the left and bad weelalighment . The battery terminals was both loose. Have to stop at tualatin uhaul to tight terminals. In general it was challenging driving 440 miles.Simon M.

My comments are as followed, I rented a truck with an empty tank of fuel, they credited me $72,5 for this problem but the greater problem came when I filled the tank and it cost $115 neither location can help me with this and directed me to customer service which I have sent to replies to their comment stating that they credited me $72,5 and that was the end of it. The gas hose was broken. We tried to put gas prior to its return location but it was leaking. We have photos and videos and the receipt from the gas station. What would be the best way to pass those along? We want to be sure that we are not charged, since we didn't realize it was broken prior to our pick up.Stephanie L.
