Charged a false cleaning fee of $250.00 non existent blanket and dolly rental, illegally charged my debit card, gas surcharge and actual gas, presented a gas receipt upon return, so with head office hopefully we will have this resolved, Tuesday, horrible

We dropped the key in the box and then went online and found out we needed photos, odometer reading, etc. If you want this level of detail, put a sign over the key drop box so we can do it in the right order.

The vehicle and the office were super dirty. However as it was short term and I needed it to move boxes it wasn’t he worst. What I would have liked is better check in and out. No one walked the vehicle with me, told to just take pictures if I wanted. This didn’t make me feel comfortable especially as I found issues with the vehicle and it wasn’t marked with the stickers. Upon return, I returned early but after closing hours, I hadn’t received the text regarding checking in the vehicle and saving myself $20. So I had dropped the keys and was on the subway when this happened. 30 minutes before return isn’t sufficient. At least 2 hours before schedule return would work.

We ordered a variety of items in addition to the truck (e.g. dollies), and NONE of them were available. Our truck was covered in dirt, and we immediately had to rush to get gas as there was not enough.

Firstly, I was booked in a different location than the one I requested so when I got to the one I had booked the verification code didn’t work and I had to call the 1-800 number I did not have a good experience The policy that states if you use debit for your deposit it gets returned in a cheque in 3-4 weeks is archaic, there is a refund feature on every debit machine, I had to leave find a bank (not mine-so paid charges on the withdrawal) and it cut into my move by 45 minutes ( friends had a limited time).how simple it would be to support customers in a stressful time (moving). Debit is cash. The funds are moved to your account instantly-cannot see any downside-perhaps in taking a moment for your accountants, Second I literally forgot to refill gas in the truck and instead of your representative saying, oh it looks like you forgot to fill up do you want to just go and do that? She added the charge and I was surprised by the invoice total. Her response was indignant “ I told you when you left to refill the gas tank!” She needs training in being in a customer’s world and seeing how she can provide great customer experience.

I read some terrible reviews about issues at this location, so will share the good experiences I had. I reserved a 15 foot truck for 8:00 a.m. on a Wednesday. I was there a few minutes before it opened and was first in line. There were a couple of other reservations at the same time, but only 2 people working at the counter. They were only able to deal with one person at a time, so I'm sure the other two people behind me would have waited a bit. The lot is also very narrow and packed, so only one vehicle can get in or out at a time. However, they got me into the truck very quickly, helped me back out of the lot and into traffic, and there were no issues with the return, mileage or billing on my card.
