James JPersonnel were on a mission to show how smart they were and how dumb the customer is. As this location is close to where I live it is very convenient to use---- however I will not patronize this business again because of the way they handled this transaction.

Danielle MMy complaint is not with the location (Lewisville One Stop). My complaint is with U-Haul. I went to the location on 11 August and reserved a 20-foot box truck for 19 August (8 days prior to needing it). I left the location knowing I was all set with the truck I needed. Several days later I was contacted by U-Haul saying you could not guarantee 20-foot box truck and you could only guarantee a pickup truck. It was too late for me get a proper vehicle from Budget or others so I was stuck with the pickup truck. The person with whom I spoke with on the phone said if a box truck was available on August 19th at the location, I could get it. Obviously that did not work out and I was forced to make a number of trips with an open-backed pickup truck. It was not ideal. If you promise something at the time of the reservation you should stick with it. It was a major inconvenience and hassle using the pickup truck but I was in a bind.

Michelle MI got there on time, someone else got there early so I had to wait. The odometer reading in the truck and on the paperwork was not the same. Nothing could be done about that so I ended up paying more.

Chris MIt took an HOUR to pick-up the truck. The associate could not figure out my EXISTING reservation and we had to call Customer Service. In addition, the truck only had 1/4 tank of Gas at pick-up. I have never seen this in a rental - they have always been Full.
SCOTT EYour company should be seized and your assets sold off to pay back every customer your predatory actions have affected. False advertisement, failure to disclose all pricing information, all because "the customer signed the contract." Get ******* bent. I will pay any other company twice what you've charged me simply because they are at least transparent about their pricing
Micah EI reserved a 15' truck online, uhaul system was apparently having issues… when I got to pick up location they had rented the truck to someone else, didn't have a truck for me because the online system cliched!!! I was extremely upset to say the least! I have used that location multiple times, the service is wonderful! But because of uhaul online system I was unable to get the truck I needed, had to use a van and make multiple trips!!! Very inconvenient! Also uhaul phone system was not working so I couldn't even call to complain :/

Lawwrence HThe u-haul leaked from the roof and ruined my king size mattress and mattress topper that where new and had to throw away and also my queen size mattress and many boxes where soaked Isn’t that why a person gets a uhaul is to keep things dry Called yesterday and was told they will call me back yet no phone call back

He was a pleasure to deal with, dealt with my request for a change in vehicle type efficiently and gave me all the information I needed quickly. He is the main reason I would return to this location.
thanya hThey couldn’t get the computer to work on pick up causing a 20 minute delay and upon return they couldn’t get the “app”to work in order to process the return so another 15 minute delay.

DAVID SIt is storming. The crew cancelled. Impossible to work in a fever storm. The dealer and u-haul charged me anyway when we couldn't use the truck. All we have to tell others is that u-haul stole our money during an emergency.
