Emily G.Your early return mobile phone process/app is poor. Spent 30 minutes in the cold trying to return key in a locked box with combination lock. App would not recognize my location making it extremely difficult and inconvenient. There are many easier and more convenient ways to have your customer drop off truck early and return key. Rental car companies have been doing it for years.

Kimberlee N.I usually rent from HomeDepot. This time I thought I needed a cargo van, which they were out of so I came to UHaul. Ultimately, we switched to a box van, which is when I should have returned to Home Depot. The service attendant was confused about how to rent us the truck and I had to call the 800 number. The truck was horribly old - we felt every road bump! The shock absorbers were non-existant. There was no ramp, no backup camera, the driver door felt like it never closed properly, our phone didn't connect with the car to play music with a USB charger, there was no light in the back of the truck. It was just horrible and more expensive. Never ever ever again.
ASHITA S.I did a mobile 24/7 pickup. It would have been helpful to know there was a requirement for a passport / additional contact / etc. prior to picking up the vehicle. Only two of us were moving the van (myself as the renter, and another person as the driver). The mobile check-in didn't allow me to use either of our phone numbers as the additional contact phone number. We were only able to use the driver's phone number as the additional contact after a phone call with U-Haul. It would be a much better experience if either the items needed for pickup we're more clear at the time of reservation, or if the mobile check-in service allowed driver's phone number to be accepted from the start.

The woman who worked behind the desk Saturday morning was very helpful and solved my problem right away. she was great.

Don S.U-Haul forgot to provide an appliance dolly with the truck despite me repeatedly referencing the same during pick up. Moving a refrigerator was the sole purpose of renting a 15' truck with a ramp so I was disappointed to learn of the omission when I arrived to my refrigerator pick up location and it we ultimately had to lay the refrigerator on its side to move it - which we were trying to avoid with the right dolly and equipment. U-Haul did provide a utility dolly by accident but it proved useless to move the refrigerator up the ramp. In the end, I could have used my SUV, saved money and pushed the refrigerator sideways using the same technique deployed and put the appliance at the same level of risk - risk we had hoped to avoid going through U-Haul. However, the location and employees were very nice and quick. I may use the location again but certainly spend the time to verify what I was provided.
Brian S.The back of the truck had a bad smell that transfered to my clothes and I had to wash them all to get rid of the smell, but I would have washed them all anyway. I forgot to notify Life Storage about this.
Stuart C.The manager and employees are rude and act as if they are doing us a favor. They do not care about uhaul customers. Uhaul should seriously reconsider this location.
Shashank A.Vehicle was dirty and there were spills inside the drivers side as well as in the cargo area. The righ side mirror didn't work with the automatic button and if u adjust it with hand it will flip downwards as soon as u start driving.
Shaheera W.Attendant at life storage was clearly a racist. When I walked in he was very happily talking/joking with the white lady in front of me. So thought he was a friendly guy but when it came to my turn he demeanor quickly changed he immediately became disgruntled constantly telling me he can't help me and that I need to figure out the check out process online and then talk to him. Didn't think too much in to the experience but when I returned the car he was once again engaged in a very pleasant conversation with a white gentleman but when it came to my turn he became a disgruntled employee again. He was rude, demeaning and unprofessional.

Eric A.There were warning lights about tire pressure that came up the moment I drove off the lot and the entire drive a tire pressure sensor monitoring system was in effect which made the long trip difficult. I felt like the vehicle wasn't maintained or safe. Also there was no ramp! What kind of uhaul doesn't have a ramp?! I will be demanding a refund
