Directions on after hour pick up ate vague at best. To say you need a mobile device is minimal and fails to state â€œon property â€œ with license and back up phone number. Phone communication with customer service is atrocious and this experience was frustrating and poorly presented.Terese W.

We had a small glitch in the morning with the van within the app being assigned to another U-Haul customer (she was late - but arrived as I was going through the process of securing my van). The woman who worked behind the desk Saturday morning was very helpful and solved my problem right away. she was great.ADAM L.

U-Haul forgot to provide an appliance dolly with the truck despite me repeatedly referencing the same during pick up. Moving a refrigerator was the sole purpose of renting a 15' truck with a ramp so I was disappointed to learn of the omission when I arrived to my refrigerator pick up location and it we ultimately had to lay the refrigerator on its side to move it - which we were trying to avoid with the right dolly and equipment. U-Haul did provide a utility dolly by accident but it proved useless to move the refrigerator up the ramp. In the end, I could have used my SUV, saved money and pushed the refrigerator sideways using the same technique deployed and put the appliance at the same level of risk - risk we had hoped to avoid going through U-Haul. However, the location and employees were very nice and quick. I may use the location again but certainly spend the time to verify what I was provided.Brian S.
The back of the truck had a bad smell that transfered to my clothes and I had to wash them all to get rid of the smell, but I would have washed them all anyway. I forgot to notify Life Storage about this.Stuart C.

Vehicle was dirty and there were spills inside the drivers side as well as in the cargo area. The righ side mirror didn't work with the automatic button and if u adjust it with hand it will flip downwards as soon as u start driving.Shaheera W.
Attendant at life storage was clearly a racist. When I walked in he was very happily talking/joking with the white lady in front of me. So thought he was a friendly guy but when it came to my turn he demeanor quickly changed he immediately became disgruntled constantly telling me he can't help me and that I need to figure out the check out process online and then talk to him. Didn't think too much in to the experience but when I returned the car he was once again engaged in a very pleasant conversation with a white gentleman but when it came to my turn he became a disgruntled employee again. He was rude, demeaning and unprofessional.Winson P.

There were warning lights about tire pressure that came up the moment I drove off the lot and the entire drive a tire pressure sensor monitoring system was in effect which made the long trip difficult. I felt like the vehicle wasn't maintained or safe. Also there was no ramp! What kind of uhaul doesn't have a ramp?! I will be demanding a refundPenelope N.

The lady and man that worked the front desk were super rude plus very unprofessional. Every time I asked a question they would look at me with 9 heads as if I should of known the question.When I first got there I waited for 25 minutes because the lady couldn't complete a simple uhaul transaction. Overall a terrible experience and will never go back to this location.Matthew G.
I was rented a 10' that was supposedly â€œin rotationâ€ and it was never complained about, yet when I got in I noticed the right side mirror was tilted towards the ground. I fixed it as I pulled out and got on the highway. On the highway (I76, a bumpy ride at some stretches) I realized after every little bump the mirror would pivot back to the down-most position. This added unnecessary miles to my total, and as I was moving I was already having a stressful day on top of the potential safety hazard of driving a truck on the highway, unable to see anything but my blind spot on the right side. Needless to say, I was upset. The renter â€œin chargeâ€ of the Uhaul operations of LifeStorage, King of Prussia rented this vehicle to me without inspecting or notifying me of the issue. When I explained the hassle and additional miles to him and asked to get a couple miles comped off my total because I had to go out of my way and get off the highway to fix the mirror issue so I didn't crash the truck or sideswipe some poor soul I couldn't see. The guy, whose name was Neil, couldn't do anything but give me lip service. He inspected the truck and just about told me to suck it up (in nicer terms, of course) and that I would have to pay the full price because he had no control over adjusting it. While I do believe they did everything they could for me, I find it incredibly shocking that a) they were unaware of this issue b) it was not inspected by the so called â€œuhaul gooberâ€ before rental and c) there was not a single thing they could do to calm me down or appease me after my long day of getting screwed over while moving. I refuse to return to this location simply because my experience with Neil was so unpleasant. I will be the first to admit I was being snappy- but that does not excuse Neil's lackadaisical and unapologetic approach to my ire.Jack T.

The van was not clean and we had to put 2 quarts of oil and some antifreeze in it. My husband bought the van back but there was not another one available. The location was close to our house and the associates were very nice.Deborah H.

The staff at this location was very helpful in both the reservation, pick up, and return processes They treated me as if were a customer who rented a truck from them every day. I did the entire process of reserving my truck, and picking it up via truck share. Not once did we meet face to face, however, they knew exactly who I was, called me by my first name, and inquired as to whether or not I had any trouble with truck. All before I had even stepped one foot out of the truck !! Will definitely use them again, and also refer them to anybody who should ask. Excellent customer service. !!!!Amanda R.
