Overall things went ok. The man working at the desk had very limited knowledge of the computer process and after the contract was printed I had to wait another 30 minutes or so to get the keys, cutting out some of the time I was allotted for the truck. He was very pleasant and thanked me many times for my patience. I was also told I had to have it back by 4:30. I called to ask for more time and he was confused. I had to point out that on the contract it was to be returned by 5:45. Going back and forth on the phone took me away from being able to keep working.

Please train your agents to use your U-Haul Software. It took one hour and three minutes to execute the previously prepared contract and drive out of the lot. Several ( 4 or 5) calls were made by the agent to their "next up the line" U-Haul support person who was able to instruct them ( several time) as to how to navigate the software. I really felt sorry for the poor folks whe had NOT be properly trained. The truck cargo bay was NOT inspected by the agent and contained a furniture dolly which we DID return upon drop off. The truck also contained a half-drunk soft drink bottle.
