The truck was dirty, pile of sand in the back and trash and work gloves in the front (gloves still there). Tire sensor light on, went back in as I hadn't pulled off yet, they knew about it. Told me I should “just keep an eye on the tire”, like WTF? That is not part of what I signed up for. Should of been mentioned when rented. As I'm driving I realize the Cabin light would not go off and the Indicator light for gas cap not tight kept popping on. I pulled over and called the station. He said he thinks the light stays on and had no answer for the gas cap light. I ended up pulling over twice to keep tightening it (keep in mind I just rented the truck). Finally went off. Couldn't find how to turn on/off headlights…. Upon return I figured out why. The ENTIRE part that you turn on the headlights and dome light was gone. Just two holes in the dash. I noticed the holes when I first got in but never thought it was supposed to have something in it of such importance. Upon further inspection the ENTIRE UNIT it was pushed back into the dash. 20 mins later with my hand under the dashboard trying to push it back thru the hole hoping I wouldn't get shocked I got it to the surface but gave up. I tried to call u-haul to tell them the light was still on, as it had been when I rented it, after over 20 mins on hold I hung up. I have pictures of of the dash and of my hold time. This entire experience was absolutely unacceptable!

worse customer service experience i have ever had; went to pick up the truck i had rented with a confirmed reservation, was told there was no truck of that size or even one smaller size available that day or next day or within any location within 2 hours of us. finally contacted uhaul customer service who arranged a smaller truck at a different location, and when we went to that location they didn't have the dollies or carpets we had rented. ended up going to 3 uhauls and wasting half a day and then they ended up incorrectly charging us for the large truck anyways.... worst rental experience ever

The way you have to check out on your phone instead of at register of U-Haul dealer.

He did not listen to what I was telling him over the phone before I came. So he gave me false information. And what I needed to know I cannot get from him I had to call the one 800 number and she was amazing. I was able to pick my drop off and he basically kept telling me that I wasn't and I could not bring the truck back to him.

It took us an hour standing in the cold to get the code to get the key in the back of the vehicle. I submitted all the info they wanted and they told me they couldnt verify it and closed out chat. I had to call and stand on hold and chat at the same time. Worst ever!!! Then when returning the vehicle the lock broke in our hands. I had to wait on hold for a person (that never picked up for and hour and half) start a chat that closed out again!!....and no one offered any kind of help..I work in customer service as well and I would have offered some kind of help with the bill or something!!! But no one helped with anything...never would I do that again

No other equipment onsite so confusing as to if you are in the right place. Attendant had no idea how to process return. After trying several things I figured out that I had to log into the Uhaul website and do it myself. Easy once I figured that out with no help from the attendant. Maybe the website said this was just a drop off park with no support but I didnt notice that. Will be much more careful in the future about which locations I pick.

Don't double book the trucks. Have the trucks ready when people arrive. Have a system actually work so that you can check the equipment as you're supposed to. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE BOTH TIMES

Our past experiences with Uhaul have been great, but today was terrible. We rented the Uhaul from 9am - 12pm and didn't drive it off the lot until 10. We opted to utilize the self pickup but the screen was stuck on “Awaiting Approval” for about 20 minutes. I tried using the chat feature to inquire about it and never got a response. We had to go into the station to finish up the approval process and had to wait additional time because the same issues were occurring for other customers. The staff of the station confirmed our drop off time of noon because another customer was renting it right after us, but we had already lost an hour of the time that we had allotted for. We said that we would do our best to be back by noon but it wasn't our fault that it took an hour to get the truck off of the lot. It was just a terrible experience overall.

Spent almost an hour that I was supposed to have the u-haul trying to get the key because the person at the gas station counter said I should have a code to unlock the back when in the end he had the code.

I will never be using U-Haul again. Actually contact customers about disputes in claim and price. Do not charge customers for services not requested. Properly train phone representatives to accurately guide customers to solutions rather than completely distribute falsehoods at increased cost to the customer. Take responsibility for misinformed representatives, apologize, and not charge for the ensuing extensions of time and miles due to false information given by the representatives of U-Haul.

This store was great. The staff were courteous and actually had the truck in stock unlike Pennsylvania Ave. This was my third Uhaul location. Thanks Shell!!@ And they were very culturally competent.

I called the Uhaul customer service to get a break down of my charges since I got movers as well. I did not receive any answers of the breakdown and I was told numerous times that they didn't charge me therefore, they did not why I was charged and it had nothing to do with their part. I was not even calling to dispute, I just wanted a breakdown of the bill. At the location, I rented the truck from 2-6 but returned the truck at 3:20pm with a tank full (the tank was a quarter to full when I received it). I was charged around 86 $. I understand that I ended up using about 20 more miles and when I asked if I would be refunded for the amount of hours I did not use, I was told the truck rental was for 24 hours. I was shocked because if I knew that, I would not be rushing my move. This whole experience was bad. I've used Uhaul numerous times but for some reason, this was the worst.

Find the glitch in the on line reservation that I completed but was not there when arrived, and i was confused about the price three different times.

Customer service was the worse. They assigned me to this place because another location could not honor my reservation. Upon arrival there were items in my bill that I didn't ask for. The time to redo this reservation caused a major delay in plans and my move. There's a budget near me. I'll go that route moving forward.

The rates advertised are deceptive. A day is defined as 5 hours. Insurance was added on without my ok. The truck was fine and the clerks were nice but the total cost was outrageous. I should have gone with penske.

I was charged extra miles despite only driving the calculated miles. I have rented a uhaul several times and have never had this occur, so I called to inquire about it. I ended up leaving the phone call feeling more confused about why I was charged than before with no clear explanation to why I was charged extra miles in the first place. Unfortunate, as I have never had any issues with uhaul ever before and it has always been my go to place when I move.

When I went to return the equipment, the gentleman at the register was hostile towards me. He said "let me guess, you're here to return that big hunk of shit." He then proceeded to tell me that he was "too busy for this shit" and was overall in a bad mood. I would never recommend that location to anyone. It was the worst customer service that I have ever received.
