First of all you need to charge the CORRECT card. You charged my mom in law Card and her card was only suppose to be used to RESERVE the truck not as a point of payment WHICH YOU STATED IT WOULD NOT BE or she wouldn't have used her card. She's furious!!! Secondly, you gave me truck on almost empty but charged me fuel charge when I gave it back to you the way I received it. Furthermore, its The worst location and experience! Don't go get any truck from here!!! EVER!

Your website needs updating, you sent me to two different places to return the trailer but they were out of business. Finally you found me a third place, your poor management costed me to be two hours behind schedule and cost me money and time. Completely disappointed—no one offered any compensation or even a “sorry”. GET YOUR GAME UP.

I had no issue with Little Earles location. I had a HUGE issue with the dispatch center in Portsmouth VA. Reserved a 20 Ft three weeks in advance with U-Haul for a one way move 4 1/2 hrs away. Less than 24 hrs before my reserved pick up time of 8:00 am, I get a text that my truck was to be picked up 20 miles away from where I had requested AND at 2:00 pm. I sold my house and HAD to be out that day. I called the dispatch center to inquire. I believe her name was Lisa. She said "oh, that site doesn't have a 20 ft truck and they close at 2:00! Why was I confirmed for a 20 ft truck AND location that neither one was available!!! I asked to speak to her supervisor. She said her supervisor was off. I asked to speak to any supervisor. She said they were all off. I asked for the building manager...he was off too!!! Nobody minding the store other than first line folks??? I don't believe it. she would not let me speak with anyone in charge. She did say she could get a 15 ft truck at Little Earles right down the street from me. I was desperate and had no choice as I had to be out of the house. I asked if there was a larger truck anywhere in Tidewater I could get as I was moving out of town. She said NO! I was desperate as I had no choice!! Horrible service, especially after reserving a truck 3 weeks in advance. If you can't honor your reservations U-Haul, you shouldn't even be offering it!! U-Haul not dependable to honor their own reservation system!!! Have had to tell many others who asked how the process went with U-Haul that they don't honor their commitments! Little Earles was great to work with, they had no part in the complete lack of responsibility of Lisa and U-Haul dispatch in Portsmouth, VA!

Try harder to place out of state closer to the locations closer to the customer, knowing that they already have a long distance to travel from state to state.

Location was late causing time of reservation was not guaranteed. Guy next to me outside store was able to get his $50 refund immediately but when I call I'm told it takes 72 hours. After I've already paid and am done with the transaction. Huge hassle. Worst experience I've had with uhaul. Might try a different rental company next
