The drop off location didn't want to check the UHAL back in just asked me to leave keys. I would prefer a positive check out, so I know all is closed out correctly. They didn't close the transaction until two days after. I also got charged a 30 $wrong location fee without discussion.PETER G.

TERRIBLE customer service. I reserved a 20' truck weeks in advance to make sure I would have it for this trip. I drove from a different state 8 hours away to pick it up, when I arrived the young lady was very rude & told me they don't have the 20' truck because it has a flat tire & "that's not her problem, its uhauls problem." Super disappointing that I reserved a 20' truck, received no confirmation call the day before, or prior notice that the 20' truck was not available. I wouldn't have made the trip had I known the only available truck was 15'.Katy H.

Trailer rented on Saturday. 5/11/2019 @ 11:02 am. Returned that evening at 8:01pm. Return checked in on 05/14/2019 (late) for no reason. This has caused a delay due to the inability to complete entry of the return of my timely rental has caused a delay in the refund of my deposit. Not my fault, and I SHOULD NOT be delayed!Vera Y.

Had to go through 3 different tow dollies to get one with lights. Didn't get a paper contract so when I dropped off Saturday evening and called u haul I got a recording to call during working hours. So I find out I was charged an extra day when I didn't have it even 5 hours!!john S.
I have no complaints about the place where I picked up my Uhaul. But I do have a complaint about the scheduling service you guys provided. First y'all wanted me to go pick up my Uhaul all the way to Spring Tx. I tried telling your scheduling department that there was a big Uhaul rental place right across 45 interstate highway from where my daughters apartment was, which is where we were going to be moving from. Then when I called and talked to someone they set me up for a pick up at feed store in the middle of CONROE on Main st. I asked the guy on the phone why can't I just get set up for the place there on 45? They have a lot of big vans like the one I need. He told they might not be available for the day that I needed! I said fine! So yesterday we my family drove all the way to Conroe from Livingston to the feed store to pickup our rental. There was nothing there! My wife and I came in there and gave the girl the info and she tells us they don't have any Uhaul's at the moment. So she gets on the phone and calls scheduling again and that's where they sent us to the other side of town to pickup the uhaul once more delaying our move! So yes I'm very disappointed with this Uhaul rental and don't think I would ever recommend or rent another one again for the price that I paid!
They got me the same day. Very good customer service. They closed at 5:30 and still let me drop it off. And very funny????Tarrell T.

My original reservation was scheduled for 8:00 am on Saturday morning at Galloway Exxon for a 26ft truck. They had nothing to rent me. The man at Exxon station contacted AFM and I informed them where I saw a 26 ft truck. I had to wait 1,5 hrs until Livingston Security Storage opened. I was not real happy with situation when I had a guaranteed reservation. I feel some credit to my credit card should be given for my trouble.Greg C.
Pulled up in front of location at 9 am they did not open till 9:30 am. When the lady pulled in the gate she said it would need to wait till 9:30. In the mean time someone else pulled in and walked in when I walked in at 9:30 they were in deep conversation. I got the impression they were U-Haul owners. She said just leave the truck and they would process it. I did. She was very polite and helpful. I really don't think this was a bad experience it was just different.gary J.
Have the vehicle at the location where you reserved it. Had to drive to 3 locations, over 90 miles round trip to get my Uhaul truck. Doesn't seem to matter if you reserve ahead of time.lynn W.

Personnel was helpful, no issues. A couple of complaints: -For the return of the truck I had to call you 800 number for the location, I was on hold for 22 minutes before somebody answered ! -I rented the truck for a trip from Houston to Point Blank TX. I picked up the truck 1 mile from my house, drove straight from my house to the delivery address in Point Blank and straight to the return depot. Even so I was charged for a little more than 11 extra miles driven which I find pretty ridicules since I was just driving what I have ordered !Nicolai N.

Small location and I was only customer so my experience went well. Online process was horrible. Sat in thinking mode (Icon processing symbol). Used three different search engines to try and research and submit reservation. Never timed out but just sat in "thinking mode" and had to continually try other search engines. Truck availability limited and ended up having to pay for extra miles though I used the most direct route from Uhaul on 190 to my house on 190 to my destination in Houston which is a mile away from the Houston Uhaul. Felt like a "Gotcha" business model.William B.

I was set to pick up my truck at 9am. The representative was not on location, nor was anyone that could give me the key to the vehicle. I was later told the representative just "stepped away." However, that was not true because I called several times that morning prior to arrival. No one answered the phone. I ended up checking out the truck at about 10:30am but not until the representative told me that my prepayment was only a deposit. She went on to charge me for insurance that I turned down during the online booking process. Note: this location for pick up was changed from a different location at the last moment. I spoke with uhaul representatives throughout this process. Several were rude and couldn't care less about my unfortunate situation. I ended up receiving 50 $back for the reservation guarantee. However, the 76 $charge for insurance that I didn't need was not refunded. I was responsible for eating moving fees related to the help that I paid for in my moving locations. To conclude, uhaul lost a loyal customer this weekend. I have used several trucks for several years but I will no longer use or recommend their services.Wayne R.

trailer was not at the reserved location...had to use another location. Rented a 6x12 covered trailer with a very heavy tongue weight...no one there to help get it on the hitch. I am 68 years old, it was all I could do to get it loaded and unloaded. Very poor.David H.
Very disappointed in service. No help available to hook up rental trailer. Wiring connections not even on unit. Had to take wiring extension fron another unit of the same type to have running lights to travel on public road. Had to inflate tires to proper pressure after leaving rental place. No qualified inspection of any type. Had to perform inspection myself prior to towing vehicle. Tow dolly was advertised @ 54 $but when it was rented it cost 125 $. Even reserved for advertised price and this included no extra equipment. Had no choice in the matter as other people were waiting for me with tow dolly. Total disappointment. Will NEVER use this rental service again or rcomend to anyone else, either.Maxie S.

She didn't know what she was doing. We got a tow dolly for my car and she did NOT know how to hook it up. After hooking up the car we noticed that NONE of the digital read-outs were working in the cab INCLUDING THE ODOMETER!!!! My son told me later that she couldn't figure out how to hook the car up to the dolly so she had her BOYFRIEND do it!!!! When we arrived at my mother's house 100 miles away THE CAR WAS FALLING OFF THE DOLLY!!!!! We had to call the emergency roadside assistance and by the time they were able to arrive and correct the problem we lost 1/2 a day on our trip. I WILL WARN EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION.JOHN V.

My reservation for a 14' truck I(confirmed on 6/23) somehow became a reservation for a 4x8 trailer (to a different city) when I called on 6/25 to find out where to pick up the truck. I just received a contract by email that still shows the 4x8 trailer, the wrong destination, my name, the wrong address, my email address, but the wrong phone #, & the wrong pickup & delivery dates. If I had waited until 6 PM on 6/25 (my pickup day) to hear from UHaul about pickup location (instead of calling in at about noon) I doubt that I would have gotten a truck on time. (The reservation # for the corrupted reservation is 83569516; my original reservation for the truck was 84251219)MARK P.

I can't think of any improvements to reccommend at this time...please continue to give the quality service that you have. I have used U-Haul for over 30 years for occassions where I have to move and have always been satisfied with the experience.TOM R.
