Truck was unwashed, windshield covered in dead bugs front wheel seal wet with grease, no u-haul rep did a walk around inspection, was not the place I selected on line will NOT use the u-haul app again

Ashley HGot rerouted here day before requested equipment pickup. They did not have the moving blankets that were ordered at same time as the truck was scheduled. Nor did they have the shrink wrap that was already paid for, also ordered at the same time as scheduling the truck. Was informed that we would have to go to other locations to get both of those. Why reroute to a location if they don't have all of the ordered items? Then, this location changed the drop off location without asking or telling me. Had I not called my originally planned drop off location before leaving town, I would have not known until 10 PM when we dropped off the truck using the mobile 24 hour drop off process that I was not at the changed location. The location they had changed me to was 25 miles away in a different town. Why???
Jeff PThis place is a dump. We dropped off the truck after 5:30 P.M. The place was scary. No lights There were not any other U-Haul trucks of trailers around. We didn't feel safe.If I wouldn't have spotted the key drop box I would not have even known this was a U-Haul facility. There were junk cars and trucks parked around with their engines ripped out. Large oil spots on the cement. It also has to be the hardest one to get to in Lincoln NE, Please take the time to drive by this place to see how bad it is.

Kathy JRegularly when I rent, and pay for the "smart tow, " the representative s not only help hitch the trailer but also put on the safety chains, the brake chain and plug in the electrical system. I was told that legally the representatives could not do that anymore, which was a surprise to me. The location was assigned to me because of equipment availability was not at the location requested, so there is some bias in my statements and should not be applicable.

We picked it up from a shop where the early morning staff had difficulty with English and we didn't speak Spanish, which led to communication issues. Once the owner arrived shortly after we were fine, but the truck was missing the dolly we needed

Jennifer MThe location was fine, but the 24/7 contactless pickup was a nightmare. The website crashed on my phone after I inputted my payment information before I could get any info on how to get the key from the lockbox. I think they were supposed to call me with the combo, but after waiting about 20 minutes, I called them. Sat on hold, only to have a robot tell me that there were no operators on staff. Fine, it was Sunday, but then, who was going to call me? I reopened the website and entered a live chat, and the woman helping me there, Dawn, was the bright spot. She was patient and understanding and had my question answered in very little time, but I still feel that UHaul should either have operators at the call center, or they should not have advertised contactless pickup on a Sunday. UHaul seemed underprepared to actually uphold their end of the reservation.
Andreas UFirst, your express checkout out is anything but express. I strongly encourage you to do some work on your UX/UI for the site. I also encourage you to fix it so logging in allows me to access what I need instead of a weird work around. I would have rather just gone to a location and dealt with a person. It said online that I completed check-in when I apparently had not meaning that I was trying to do it while on a time crunch. It ended up that the key wasn't even locked the whole time. They also did not put the dolly and furniture pads in the truck. I had to go to two other locations to get those. I would strongly consider pulling this location as a location.
Andrew KLooked like a auto salvage place. Did not feel comfortable dropping the truck off. Not an image I would want for my company. I was harassed by 2 men sitting at the corner of the building asking for money. The entire transaction from pick up and drop off was terrible. I would be ashamed of the quality of service and product you provided me.
Laura FIt looked like a auto salvage place. Very sketchy and not happy to have to drop off transport there. Doesn't help Uhaul your imagine at all.
Laura FHad to park the trailer on the sidewalk, because there was no room on the lot. I will never use UHaul again, nor will I recommend anybody else to do so.

Erick BThis place didn't look like a Uhaul rental location as there was no other Uhaul units there. There was no signage or even a real place to put the trailer as the entire lot was filed with cars. I had to triple check to make sure this was the correct location. Good thing I arrived when someone was there.
Michael WThere was not a lot of room to drop off a truck. Personnel were friendly and accommodating. In the future I would use a different location for my drop off location.

Mark PThis place was a junk yard! The web site said they are open 2 - 5 on Saturday. This place looks like it hasn't been open for years. There was a phone number on the door, I called know one answered. They did call back. He said just leave the truck parked on the sidewalk and put the keys in the U-Haul box. Good luck see that truck again!
Dave PWe had to go to two different uhaul locations to get the truck, the first location had no one working at it, and the 800 number directed us to another location over 2 miles away.
Tyler GIt was a bit sketchy. The guy there just handed us the key. They didn't check for identification or have us sign anything. It was only later when I started receiveing text messages from Uhaul that i realized I had not checked out the truck officially and had to call in to do it.

Patrick WThe facility was not well marked. The facility had no place to park comfortably. The return of the truck was absolutely ridiculous. I had to make multiple pictures of the truck or get charged an additional $20. This was a miserable experience with UHaul. Not so much the facilities, but the way UHaul is now doing business. Either be upfront about your return policy when I get the truck or don't make me do your job for you. This is a ridiculous example of zero customer service.

MARK DTruck was in poor condition. I got charged for things I wasn't aware I was renting. (6 Furniture pads) If I knew I was being charged 30 extra dollars I would of left them in the run down parking lot. What kind of business sneak charges customers?
Jacob WThe only problem I had was that truck should have never been rented out. There was a problem with the rear passenger tire and I had to deal with it. I was told it was not an issue but I had to put air in the tire every time I stopped. I finally had to call roadside assistance. The stop did cost me time waiting for the repair.

RONALD SI arrived at Los Amigos. They were late to open. I was worried i would not get to rent my reserved truck. They did apologize for opening late. Polite at that point. I called the Van Dorne store that reserved and referred me to 16th and M. Asked them since i lived near that location if i could return it to them. Kevin said i could. I brought it there to donovan within the 8 hours i rented it he said he could not take it no one told him i would. He did call me back and said i would not be charged for returning it the next day. I was all around stresed and not handled well. I got the final bill charging me for 3 days on the dolly. Final bill and estimated bill were far off. I will call tomorrow to get this all straightened out. Im new to Lincoln have rented with uhaul and plan to again soon. But not happy right now

chris eI registered online for my rental. No one was at the location or answering the phone when I arrived. It took 20+ minutes to do rental once someone showed up. He didn't seem to actually know what he was doing which made me extremely uncomfortable. I was gone for barely more than an hour, came back and once again-no one was there. I had to call his cell phone, which he said he would be back in 5 minutes. Apparently he was having lunch and no one else was there? I don't know where the other person was that was helping him when I got there the first time. He told me when I picked it up there would be pads inside, even though I didn't order any... there weren't any. I'd seen the other "kid" working with him bring some in. I didn't need the pads, but don't tell me some will be in there and there not be. I was told he would credit back the safe move difference between the truck I ordered and the truck I was upgraded to and the mileage but difference between wha ti paid for and what I used for. What he adjusted didn't match this. The truck had trash and the precious renter's paperwork still inside. The inside of the building was not clean at all. I'll never return here. I've used Uhaul for countless moves in the last 6 years and all have been wonderful so I had no reservation about using them again. But this was unacceptable.
Ashley BThis location is home to a salvage used car lot on a former abandoned gas station. I dont expect to rent a Uhaul from a new Lexus dealership, but this one is bad. I had a reservation but it took over 20 minutes for the salesman to fill out my paperwork. Isnt that the whole point of a reservation where you already know my name, vehicle, license credit card, etc - get me in and quickly? The trailer I rented had no license plate and the trailer brakes were not operating at all. The bolts that hold the brake control were all messed up and did not engage the surge brakes. I nearly was in an accident due to them being inoperable. I can provide photos for you if someone contacts me. This is the third bad experience I have had in the last 3 times renting Uhaul equipment. Jordan SOnly one staff member handles ALL U-Haul transactions. If he's gone when returning rental, you are made to come back for any refunds owed to you.
charles mThey did not put the keys in the truck, I was held up for an hour waiting, and then they charged me for 4,5 gallons of fuel for a 9 mile rental !

Dawn BWas not my preferred location for pick up. Upon ariival to get my truck there were issues on their side for running a card for payment. We were given the keys after signing a receipt. Later we received a call from u haul saying the payment did not go through, telling us it would be reported stolen if not payed for, again after we signed a receipt for the payment and were given keys by the u haul affiliate. We were then double charged for our purchase which resulted in extra work with bank and u haul representatives to resolve.
Ron HI arrived at the location to pick up my truck and went through the self pick up process, but it told me that I needed to get the key from a representative on site. There was no one else on the site but me, and the keys weren't in the truck. I called customer service and was on hold for a while, then got transferred a few times and was told I would need to wait for the representative to return to the site. So I went and got lunch and the representative didn't arrive until 2 hours after I was supposed to take the truck. This caused me to be short a mover and prolonged my moving process by a bit. I returned the truck later and I was charged double for going over on time. I would have returned my truck in the original time frame if I didn't have to wait to get the key. I don't think that I should be charged anything extra because the delay was not my fault, the delay was a result from your companies end of this transaction. I hope you correct this because this experience has made me very frustrated with uhaul, and I feel that I have been wronged by being charged extra for getting delayed by your representative not providing the key after I already followed all instructions I was given by your company.
Brandon KTook me over 35mins to get the uhaul and then the guys adds stuff onto my bill without asking me if I wanted it. The truck could of had things repaired in it. The visor kept falling into my driving view since it was broken. It took me 15 mins to put in 3gal of gas because the pump wouldn't go by itself since it took forever for the gas to get into the truck. Drop off was better.

vincent cEasy enough transition with a great price. My drop off locations were changed in the middle of my trip and neither one was open during drop off. But I can't complain, the customer service was very helpful and kind getting everything squared away. I would definitely use service again.

easton bTheir computer wasn't working so it took them over 45 minutes to get the truck checked out and they had to make some calls because the employee there said they had double booked the truck. Then when we returned it that same afternoon, the same employee accepted the keys from us but did not list us as checked in until the following day, resulting in $30 of extra charges. I get that this might be a good way to skim some extra money off of customers and hope they don't notice but it's not what I agreed to, it's not a good business practice and I will not be going back to that location. Also I guess I'll be demanding a written receipt from now on, with the time of return and employee's signature.
