Care about renting to customers. I was treated like, if it's a problem, go somewhere else! Speak English, or at least try to. We got a call about if we still wanted to pick up our truck hours after I already had it, then they went and cancelled the order that I currently had!? Several more check out issues!Chad D.

I was told to pick up the truck after 6pm and nobody gave me instruction how to pick the keys. I had to call Uhaul and request to re schedule for the next day. In addition when I got the the location i was the 3rd person and it took me 2 hours to pick up the truck as the person helping us informed us that the system was not updated and she had to do returns before being able to issue the trucks to everyone. The person helping us was very helpful and trying to do her best how she could in order to get us out fast.ivette P.

When I turned in the van the lady at that time in the office said it needed to be through the phone, the gentleman the checked us in said if we get there before 4pm to go in the office. The check in through the phone was okay but asked what can we fix - well it's the location responsibility to know what needs to be fix. Also they made us get an insurance for dents if not we will be responsible. The van was full of dents. Furthermore No one walked us out to inspect the van with us before or after. Let's be a little more professional in doing the job and NOT the customer.Alejandro C.

The pickup was swift however the drop off was not. I called this location approximately 7 times to ask them what type of fuel to pump (first time renting a uhaul I'm 22) and absolutely no answer. Once I arrive at the location i notice the reason they did not answer is because they're talking to a friend on the company phone. On speaker. Completely ignoring customer calls. I rented this van assuming I would use it around town for 20 miles but only used it for 13 miles.When I picked up the van it was 3/4 full and it was still 3/4 full upon return. I get my final receipt next day and it does credit me the 7 miles but they determine that gas meter was at 3/8 which means traveling 13 miles consumed 3/8 gallon of gas. Moreover, they charged me 12,75 $ for 3/8 gallon. Unleaded gas is currently at 2,86 $-3 gallon in the Miami area.Jose R.

Customer number: UTV2891845 license plate number AJ76820 contract number 29473290 I rented a van on October 13, 2020. When I got in the van there was an oil change notice required which I could not see the miles it had. but the gasoline could be seen and it lacked a quarter. After using it, they tell me that I have to pay for gas as if it was full and they charged me twice the miles I used. They told me that I had no choice, that I had to pay for it. I paid it. After 1 month they charged me the tolls, I also paid it. and today after 2 months they charge me again for tolls. and I already paid it too. but until when? Obviously it is the last time that I rent in this company. I am very disappointed because I thought it was a safe and reliable company. I need to know if they will continue to charge me, what other bad surprise awaits me?Andrea B.
Truck condition was in terrible condition: all sorts of maintenance lights turned on the dashboard, truck was dirty, light knobs would fall off, electrical cables sticking out, window knob would fall out... a nightmare of a truck. I felt very insecure. Additionally, Agent at the branch who provided the truck was not very thorough in explaining everything, very cryptic. They need to be trained or retrained to be more thorough explaining to customers all the steps. Agent also asked me beforehand for an estimate on how many miles I was going to drive, I said 20 miles but ended up driving only 4 miles. Yet they charged me for the full 20 miles! Because of the poor directions, I was not able to do the online checkout of the truck and was charged an extra 20 dollars! The whole experience was very unprofessional. I'm very disappointed at UHAUL and especially this branch.FRANCISCO M.

Truck was in terrible driving condition. Sounds like a bearing is about to go out somewhere. Cargo area was dirty.....I cleaned in case I was accused of the dirty cargo area. I had cargo that took the entire width of the cargo area and removed the dolly to make room, I did not even use and was charged! Also, charged for after hours fee? I am doing all the work here and I am getting charged?!?Ronaldo T.
To have a better policy of maintenance of vehicles. In my personal case the truck I rented had a big leaking in â€œmoms atticâ€ that leads to damage in my furniture.Oscar M.
Office staff was helpful and friendly, unfortunately as far as the truck are concerned it is a completely different story. Windshield was found cracked, upon opening the door on the dash I found two empty water bottles and a face mask (how is this not a hazard/safety concern), all the floor area of the inside cabin was covered in dirt and somehow water pooled at the bottom of the floor. Beyond that the rear tire had low pressure indicated by the cars diagnostic system and the oil lifetime was at 7 %... the steering wheel was missing chunks of material and a light was busted! Seriously, there's zero maintenance on these trucks.Jose T.

I will never rented again in this location, the keys for my truck it wasn't on the locker for pick up, and the app said that I had already received the truck. I was treated very badly by one of the owners of the business, speaking in a rude way for not having put 5 $of gas in the truck when they made me wait for more than an hour the day for my pickup because my truck it was not ready and the business was closed. I'm a loyal costumer of uhaul and I never experience so a bad costumer service from one of the agencies.Gladys R.

I spent almost two hours on the phone related to my rental. I ended up taking the truck one and a half hour later. I returned the truck later because i took it out later and the owner of the agency Los Primosâ€ told me it would be ok since I had so much trouble. The truck was not parked where expected first. Then I finally found it parked in a side street and not within the shopping center to then find out that the assigned truck had a trailer hooked up and I had not rented one. Then the agent on the phone told me another trick Parked in the same area was re assigned to me. So I go over to the office and retrieve the key, but such key belonged to the original truck that had the trailer hooked up. And so the key for the new truck I could not get. Then the owner of the agency arrived at 9:15 AM and I explained what had transpired. He unhooked the trailer and told me to take the original truck. By then it was 9:25AM and my rental was supposed to be from 8:00! To 12:00. Do you see all I went trough? I brought back the truck around 3:30 because the owner of the agency told me it was ok because of I went trough. And now I got charged an extra period of 19.99. Which I will demand to get backGeorge B.

We walked into the storage and there was a unattended child sitting there, waited six minutes before her mother came to the window and couldn't speak any English, waited for translation to be done over phone. Truck was dirty and had to be sanitized. CoVid 19!!!Angelo G.

I rented the truck for one day and they charged me for 3 days. In addition, I closed the contract as they instructed via a link 10 hours after I rented the truck, and I still got charged a late fee of 20,00 $... although I was refunded the additional 2 days charged, the fee was not. This is not the first time I was charged additional for renting but I do believe in second opportunities but clearly this was a mistake. They also offer other services such as landscaping, cleaning and handyman services and since I just moved into my new house, i was planning to use them for all of these services. Well they simply just lost that opportunity !!! Sorry but I would NOT RECOMMEND! I got burned twice.Miguel E.
The truck I was given was not full and clean in the back how it was suppose to be. I had to clean the back in order to use it was extremely dirty. I got charged 8,00 $ for gas that I didn't receive I have proof of how I got it so that's how I left it!!!!!!!! Never using U-Haul again. Overall the experience was okay. This location should make sure the trucks are cleaned after every customer uses their vehicles and they are maintained properly. The truck looked like it was taken through the mud and was full of dents/scratches/cracks/etc all over the truck. We chose this location out of convenience, which we would do if need be, but I was disappointed for my first time using U-Haul in general.Isaac S.
