Do not recommend this location! No one was at the location when we arrived at our pick up time. No one answered the phone when we called. When someone arrived a 1/2 hour later they knew nothing of our reservation. We were charged for the time we waited. The vehicle was filthy and had garbage in it. They did not inspect the vehicle before we left or on return.

The truck was dirty when I picked it up and then I was wrongly charged cleanup fees when the garbage was from a previous rental

AEDOM MENGESHAYou could wash the vehicle outside and at least make an effort to wipe down the inside. The van was filthy I actually had to stop and wash the windows so I could see because the windshield washer reservoir was empty. With covid being so relevant I definately expected a clean truck. Very disappointed.
Polly MagnusonI'll never use U-Haul ever again. My first and only experience with them was terrible and stressful, resulting in wasting not only both of my time and money, but six other people's time and money as well. I used their website to reserve a moving truck at the nearest U-Haul location at 9am on a weekday, 1,5 weeks prior to a house move. On moving day, I arrived on time at the U-Haul location as scheduled in my booking but the building was closed and I saw nobody inside. I knocked and phoned them while standing outside their door and nobody picked up. I went home 10 minutes later. I needed to complete the move on that day so I used Google Maps to search for other U-Haul locations in my area. I called around 6-8 of them and all but the last one didn't pick up even though Google Maps said they were all open. The location that picked up said they had trucks available. I ended up having to go to a U-Haul location further away than the one I originally booked at. The new U-Haul location gave me a downgraded moving truck. The storage was smaller and the truck had less passenger seats than the one I originally booked. The number of passenger seats affected my move, as originally I intended for 2 movers to ride with me in the truck while I drove. However, the downgraded truck only had 1 passenger seat so my family member had to cut their work day short by 7 hours out of their 8-hour working day to drive both movers in their own car to the new house. The house is in a different city which takes 45 minutes to drive to, resulting in using a lot of gas roundtrip. The new location gave me a receipt that said the gas tank was 7/8 (87,5 %) full but I have a photo of the gas gauge saying only 3/4 (75 %) full. They wanted me to fill the tank back up to 7/8 before returning the truck but obviously I only filled it to 3/4 and disputed with them about it when it came time to return the truck. The 2 movers I hired had to wait for two hours while I sorted out the U-Haul issue, and I reimbursed them 2 hours extra for their time, costing me an extra $200. The 3 people I was helping with the move also had to wait those extra 2 hours, delaying their move and causing unnecessary stress on them. When I returned the truck to the new U-Haul location in the afternoon, the door was closed and nobody was there to see me. I couldn't hand the key back to them as there was no key drop-off box or any mention of one. I had to leave the truck there and drive back home in my car with the truck key still in my possession. I phoned them repeatedly until they picked up and I had to drive back to the location to hand off the key, resulting in more wasted time and gas.

Amanesh MannMy pick up place initially was in Mission, BC but It was changed to Surrey, BC, but I agreed to pick up at Surrey because 45 KM mileage was offered free of charge. But by the time of drop off, I was charged for the agreed upon mileage for travel of pick up. I called customer to no success.

Jagan NathThere was noone at the front desk. I had to wait while the guy finished up a paint job. Then had to wait for him to boot up the computer. The gas light was on in the van, we put in $20 gas and got charged for $15. mileage. I won't be going back there.
DONNA BISSESSARReally bad service! To begin with main doors were locked, had to go to the back to draw the attention of the employee to open the front door and finally got service after 5 to 10 mins. Condition of pick up truck was a nightmare, water soaking at the back loading area of truck they had to move truck back and forth to remove excess water. Driver/passenger area was a mess! Both front doors and dashboard were so dirty and had liquid spillage buildup/ marks. Floors had excess dirt. Did not have time as was timebound with moving or else would have given the truck back and gone elsewhere. Drove only 5kms as pick up store to my house was a short distance, filled 10$ gas wherein indicator was matching the fill level but they still charged my $19 .. unbelievable!! Have been using uhaul since 2016 (different locations).. now Wouldn't recommend!

Manvir SohalI was so disappointed with the service. After booking a truck they make me wait for 1:30 hrs. Unfortunately, I was not able to complete my purpose for what i hired it for. In 30 mins i returned it, paid approximately $50 for no reason and still i have to book a truck again for the remaining work. I am really very disappointed.
Dhanu GautamI phoned the return agency that I would be a one hour late. They agreed assuring me that there would be no extra charge. Return time was 9:42 am on 6th Nov. I I returned the truck at around 11am and they have charged me 40$ for one extra day. I am too busy nowadays as we have just moved to Surrey and do not want to fight fir this but I do want you the managers at UHaul to be aware os this horrible fleecing.

GURJEEVAN DHILLONThere was no one at the location. They treat U-hual service as a side thing which they do not really want to do. The guy at the desk did not even know how to rent out the truck to me. I had already made a reservation online to save my time at the time of pick up but he made me do the whole reservation thing again over the phone with some lady. The gas amount on the contract was off by a big margin which I let them know at the time of acquiring the truck. They said, its fine. He took a picture of it and I took a picture of it. Later, when I returned the truck, they charged me a lot of money because the truck's gas was not at the mark where the contract said it to be. I called them and they said they will fix the issue and will return my money but it has been two weeks now but I have never gotten my money back. Customer Service was below par too. Will not go there again.
Rajat MangalSorry for my bad comments but I have been using Uhaul for many years. This time the truck was dirty and the office wasn't like a uhaul one. Just a desk. There weren't any delivery equipment also.

Amber StuartI ended up paying for an extra day for the truck on a long weekend. First of all, I never got a paper version of the contract when I rented the truck. I asked the UHAUL representative at Low Cost Auto Body what I should do if I return truck after hours. This person told me to call a specific number. I called that number on a Saturday at 9 AM. I texted the number. Since I never heard back, from my phone I tried to look at the contract that was emailed to me (had no paper contract to look at). I found the business number where the UHAUL representative answered originally from this business. I left a voicemail that I did exactly what she told me to do. This person new I was returning the truck on either Friday night or Saturday. This person should have told me to email UHAUL when returning the truck early or after hours. This person told me to call them. Since it was a long weekend, no one was there. I got charged for the Sunday as well. Never trust them.
