This location is a self service, it took me 45 mins to pick up the truck an 2 hr to do the return and I couldn't do it because the wasn't working. You have to take a pick evething. It's better do it in person.NERYS N.
I don't think this comment is for the facility, but rather Uhaul as a whole. The mobile pickup was a terrible experience. It was incredibly unclear as to what we had to do, and by the time we got the lock code, we could barely get it open. What used to be a fairly quick process was slow and frustrating.Corey L.
Service was horrible. After being turned around having to go to different locations just to get what I need and after all this craziness the truck had a crack and the Rrp in Quincy thinks its my fault after picking up the truck in Lowell like this from a shady area. This ordeal with you was TERRIBLE I would never again. I would say thanks to the service reps Kyle and Stacey for their efforts in trying to fix the issues.Melissa C.

We made the order on the app and we're unable to receive the equipment until we used the website, we called for help and stayed on the line wiring for over two minutes and we're unable to reach assistance, when we went to return the equipment trough the app we were unable to upload a picture and again we're unable to contact support, the app needs major improvements and the customer service needs to be more agile.Sandy S.
The self checkin was too Horrible! U-Haul App checkin took in 45 mins to check in. But worst part was return. Durin return app doesn't Work for odometer photo. I took tons of photos and submitted. Finally that guy from shop helped me otherwise I screwed this time. Need to much improvement in App.Prashant B.

The truck had lots of damage and was filthy. I have pics of the dirt I swept out of the back and pics of all the damage. Not easy to pick up or drop off.PAUL G.
website crashed while checking in on phone. I had to start over twice. I requested (and was charged for) furniture pads that were not provided. The ignition is failing. I had a very hard time starting the truck each time.Michael P.

Only because u have to do this all online worst experience ever. I did the app had issues even though a associate set this up woth me over the phone all i was to do was type in my email or phone number and name as i had recieved my confirmation number in my in box. Well no sooner do i do this it says i do not have account tried to to this as well. Called company to wait 35+ minutes to speak woth someone get an very nice woman she tried to help and had to patch me over to a nother associated who works in different department i wish i remembered her name wicked rude so i decide to drive the lowell middlesex location. Arrive walk in glass front door. Office is on right its a big glass framed office with a big 12x 12 sign if u need help please call this number i wait 15 minutes then call i can hear the phone ringing but no ones there i attempt this 3 times 40 minutes has gone by no. Once again im back to square one. So im in my car driving to wilmington ma to the location my son usto be a General Mgr at im still calling uhaul on my cell 33 minutes later i finally get a very nice woman i explained my dilemma online with my account and the location i just came from and now the location im going to in wilmington. She tells me thy only have the smaller truck but that i can get my truck i had. (Have) at previous location if i still want it. She was fantastic she gave me another number to call her office on when i head back to original pick up uhaul location which i did. So here i am 3+HOURS LATER. I have 9 ppl waiting at my house and taking time off of there work schedules and family lives to help me out. And im literally all over the flippin place. Anyhow i now arrive i call the number given my wait time was way less maybe 10 minutes the woman ask me if i have gotten the email about my license and uploading a pic. I cant tall you how long this took im thinking are u really kidding me the uhaul pick up is 5 streets up from my house the woman stayed on the phone woth me the whole time i tried my wifi connection as well this is why i drove home i was thinking it was my phone so i just use my wifi connection with my phone and this will go maybe faster.. Nope its not my phone the spinny thing is still spinning trying to upload finnally after 22 minutes this works so now im back in my car driving 5 streets down to uhaul pick up location and yes this woman was so nice she is still on the phone with me the whole time. But now theres a problem of key location im suppose to look for a little black box which there isnt. It was actually a pad lock on the back of the truck combination lock i needed the keys are in the back of the uhaul truck locked in. Any how im told the combination it a 4 letter word i try this multipal attempts then we go through about 5 other 4 letter word combos. I was told to match up the word across the middle bar line which i did so now im doing every word acailable across the bar line on the middle of the bar line and now below the bar line ( which ended up working) she is now on the phone to her supervisor asking for support on location to help me. As im doing this multipal time. But like i said it ended up being below the line not thru the center line as directed. I finally get keys. im now told to take pics of gas milage and any damage as i explained i see gouge marks running from the front of the truck down to back of the truck and scratches on bumpers as well as on tthe other side. She says take pics. . now im in truck i gonback up 5 streets to my home to grab my son who like i said use to work for uhaul as a GM and we are on our way im driving and literally the trucks steering os all over the place. Im kinda thinking its a big truck. I think my son said its a TT what ever that means. All i know is its huge and im all over the place but theres no weight in the back of it either so im thinking this is normal. My son says it doesnt feel right but its been a while since he had driven one of uhauls trucks 5+ years now so he wasnt sure either. So now we pick up the furniture at said location the truck is filled completely. Nothings moving in the back everythings nice and sung. Well that damn truck was still all over the place. Every bump it swayed a bit. I never went past 35-45 miles an hour. I filled up the gas after we unloaded to more than i recieved taking it it was a tad under half. I filled it a bit over half i didnt even go 20 miles+ to and from locations took me about am 1+ to get from location and back and to load and unload. And then i called uhaul to let them know truck had been returned i had also had insurance added on rental of uhaul just incase nothing happened thank god but honestly it was quite an experience all around i dont think i will ever do this again. I was credited back which hasnt posted to my account just yet almost $20 because i didnt go far and back milage wise. But honestly they should have offered a discount as to all the crazy shit i had to go thru with location(s) online issues uploading issues and the truck condition. My son said he was appalled this never would have happened like this to anyone when he worked for them. I know online things can happen go wrong ect i get this but rude wait staff on the phone then to go to No wait staff at location then driving to another location and enroute to get help while still being on phone whole time waiting for an operator to answer then to go back to first location. Way to crazy at uhaul. Totally nuts.SHERRIE L.

Update pictures on mobile pick up to show current damage so it won't be necessary to dispute every photo. Clean trucks in between rentals. Let customers know that this location only does mobile pick up and return.Carolyn C.

The app is a mess. Awful unintuitive. Then you spend 10 minutes with pop ups and other useless sales attempts trt8ng to sell me everything from dolly's to people at a REMOTE PICK UP. Hint: people use apps and remote pick ups to EXPEDITE the process. Just awful. Then the vehicle is returned 1 hour and 30 mins late. Still has not moved as of today 3 days later and I get charges another FULL DAY. Though Inhave used Uhauk for years. This will be my last rental. Just a miserable experience, frustrating waste of time and overcharged. 0 stars.greg H.

Same complaints as the previous reviews. Pad lock was super worn, wouldn't click into a selection and took me about 20 mins out in the cold, once I was able to access the back of the truck and retrieved key, the key would not turn over the truck. Took me about 10 turns to finally get it going. This is pretty frustrating especially since you guys are charging premium prices for a "sub-par" experience. Also steering wheel was very grimey feeling (which i wiped down for the poor guy who rents this truck next).Aidan B.

The truck was dirty. The padlock was impossible to open and the person in the pawn shop had to use a tool to get it open. The key wouldnt turn in the ignition - it took about 10 tries to get it to turn. No one inspected the truck in between rentals and it was very dirty.Robert D.
There seems to be some confusion between UHaul and this facility about whether this facility has staff supporting UHaul or not. UHaul customer service seemed to be under the impression that staff at the location would be able to check me in and provide equipment that was missing from the truck (i.e. dolly and furniture pads) but the staff at the location said they have nothing to do with UHaul other than provide the lot for the trucks to be picked up and dropped off and were unable to help in any way.Fredrick P.

This questionnaire is flawed and deceptive. The pickup location was not a Uhaul facility and the truck was managed by them. They were great, whoever handled the truck at Uhaul was terrible. The interior of the cab was dirty and the windshield and entirety of the front of the truck was covered in bugs. Not a big deal but an indicator that there was no attempt to clean it. This doesn't even begin to touch the debacle of my original reservation and driving 25 miles out of my way to pickup equipment that wasn't stored there and whose independent business was not even made aware of the conditions of said reservation. Needless to say I will never be using Uhaul for truck rental again and will actively advise others against it.Nicholas W.
