Gave me the wrong vehicle which doubled my required mileage, I was also assured there would be parking available for my car while I used the rental which there wasn't and finally the app malfunctioned making me unable to return the vehicle with ease

The lady on the phone told me that a lock for the back door would be provided, which was not. Also, she told me it was a bench seat in the front, which it was not. This is a problem with the booking on the phone, not the pickup location.

We initially made a reservation at the Gatensbury in Coquitlam store to rent for 9am and the store owner never showed up and the truck wasn’t there either. So we went to the North Road Coquitlam location to rent a truck. The service was fine there after the horrible service at the first location.

Frustrated that U-Haul require 3 additional phone #, other than the renter for the rental... the application cannot proceed any further without those phone# as told by Store... Why such a ridiculous requirement not stated when I reserve the unit online?

The price was right, but the vehicle had no ramp! The front end service was multi-tasking and had trouble completing my invoice with the head-office. Bottom line, no prob with the vehicle and the price but someone at the desk needs to be their full time to handle surges in customers...cheers

I chose this location because it was close to Golden Trim for flooring pick - up. There was no line-up and service was good. The truck's engine light was on but all other indicators were ok.

So I went to pick up a 5 x 8 cargo trailer I had problems hooking it onto my trailer ball one of the guys came out and hooked it on and told me it was good to go I got a half a mile up a busy road and it popped off and started swinging all over the place I pulled over to a side street and tried to get the ball back on but I was on the side of a hill so I hurt my back trying to lift it on I went back to the store and told him what happened and they just said well we can rent you a truck so I did rent the truck but I’m very disappointed with what happened it could’ve been a very serious accident your equipment should be checked out better this is unbelievable!

The staff at the Lubeking location were very good, and the truck was in good condition. However, I had specifically asked to rent the truck from t another location that was much closer to my moving site. I also called the day before my move to confirm that it would be there. The next morning, no truck. As a result, I had to pay more for the extra kilometers, and my moving process was delayed by over an hour while I was given the runaround by customer service and was told that even with a reservation, the trucks are "based on availability". What is the point of making a reservation if you can't trust that it will be honoured? I will not be using UHaul again.

I had booked a trailer in East Vancouver. I appreciate U-Haul finding the equipment, but location was not ideal. Trailer worked, but inside rails were broken and no dome light. Lack of inside rails made securing equipment difficult. Booking a trailer has become very frustrating with your company in Vancouver

First of all, I have no issues whatever with the place. The people were respectful and professional. Even helped me out with where I could park my car. It's U-HAUL's service I have a problem with. If I could invoke all the available profanity in the English language I would. I booked a pickup location near my point A as I was on a tight budget and an even tighter schedule. U-haul arbitrarily decides to text me 1 hour before pickup that my equipment is ready at this location, which was way out of the way of my point A and B! What was the point of me selecting a pick up location then?! Maybe not have that option from the start! Or at least apologize for it? It was a good thing the movers I hired to meet me were kind enough to let my tardiness slip.
