Randy MHad to return the trailer after two hours due to door not closing. Shop closed early for Thanksgiving, so I just turned it in. Called U-haul to report. U-haul said only owner of shop could issue refund. Owner refused, said there was a latch that could have been used to close door. Since I did not know about the latch, it was my fault. No refund issued. Never going to use u-haul again. Never ever ever will recommend Ludwig U-haul in Hallettsville.
Randy MSecond time using this location, second time dealing with less than professional check out person who both times was rude and unpleasant.
Claude HI was charged a $25 cleaning fee even though the vehicle was clean prior to drop off.

Dana PWas not informed until 15 minutes before pickup that my trailer was not at the Victoria location that I had reserved. I had to drive 40 miles one-way to get my trailer. I had movers scheduled which I had to pay extra so they would wait on me to get back. Not very happy about that.

Debra CU-Haul customer service called 2 days prior to pick up to confirm 1:;00 pickup of vehicle. I requested a 12 noon pick up and customer service agent stated they would make the change on the appointment. Arrived at 12:05pm to pick up truck and found location closed for lunch. I received no notification from U-Haul that the location would be closed during scheduled pick up time. I would recommend this location to a friend, but I would let them know they were closed from noon to 1:00pm for lunch. I think U-Haul should have the courtesy to do the same!
Joe BAnthony was very nice and helpful . After the paperwork, he and his associate got me hooked up and tested the lights/brakes and off I went.

John RThe truck broke down, became un-steerable and actually ran off the off the road about 3 miles from the drop off site. Thankfully I was not injured. The return site was in Hallettsville, TX. My wife was following me in our personal vehicle. We left the rented truck where it died and proceed to the drop off site. The manager said "Not my problem - call UHaul".

KENDALL MIt was very easy to drop off the trailer as the business was closed. We just pulled it to the back of the store and left it there. There had been a lot fo rain so the parking area was very muddy.

JAMES ZI have a huge complaint regarding the first location in Victoria,TX! It was horrible. I reserved the 27ft truck on line for pick up Saturday morning at 7 am. Almost an hour later, my credit card was charged and a truck was not available! Thank goodness for the store in Hallettsville! I had to drive my personal vehicle addition 60 miles to pick up a truck! Along with that big inconvenience I had movers sitting around 3 hours I had to pay!
Douglas VDropped off after hours. Everything was labeled clearly on what to do. Talked to Linda on the phone the day before and she walked me through exactly how to check in after hours. Piece of cake.
Paul ALocation was fine; Linda from scheduling was extremely unprofessional and unfortunately, since she was called by the owner of Ludwig's on speakerphone, I heard what she said about me. Due to the issues with our scheduling and the attitude of your scheduling manager Linda, I will not using Uhaul again.
Marissa IBelieve you owe $50. My 8am Wed appointment at Yoakum Tx was not honored. Thank goodness Ludwig came through.
