Easy to reserve. Truck was ready for us when we showed up. Friendly people.
EDWIN SCHMANKEThe address on the uhaul contract was incorrect. there was almost no space to leave the uhaul/trailer.
Ryan BaughDropped off after hours. I put my own lock the trailer as I didn't want the 2 dozen blankets left in an unlocked trailer. I would assume it would have been my dime if the blankets came up missing? Need to fix that potential issue. Place blankets, plugs, hitches etc. etc. into a secure box or some container for afterhours or Holiday drop offs.
Dale HansenAll was well at the pick up location. However I had to drive an additional hour each way because trailer wasn't available at the original reservation location. Pretty inconvenient after driving 1000 miles.

TANA WOODINThe cab was stinky and looked like chocolate drink had been spilled and not cleaned up. I wanted a ramp but didn't ask for one. I thought it had one.
Ramona GravesWe wanted a 15 foot truck. Non available, they gave us a 20 foot truck instead. What they the pick up or drop off people couldn't tell us was were we charged for a 15 or 20 footer! The paperwork doesn't show the end result. With other rental places they have all of it right on the paperwork!
ALLEN TRIBALThey need to check the trailers before they give them to the customer my driver side front tire had Cord showing when I got it then they blamed me for someone stealing it after I put it back being a honest guy and never stole anything in my life let alone a tire. I will never be going to this place ever again.

Derek StuderThe only problem I have is that 2 days after I had already made my agreement with U-Haul, my drop off location was changed and unavailable. I had to spend more money and inconvenience the owner of the vehicle that I used to pull the U-Haul trailer and inconvenience to myself. I would not use U-Haul again unless I had no other option. If U-Haul cares about its customers, some sort of compensation should be given.

Floyd ChaplinLyles Ford was great, we needed (2) 26' trucks and they were there and ready to go for us! Very much appreciated not having to go farther to get the trucks!
Jodi ElphicOwner was visibly annoyed I came at his lunch hour. I was there 12:15. He loaded my car on the trailer hastily. One side, he didnt line up the strap so it kept coming off until I figured out how to align it. Then he never bothered to put on the back up chains that secure to bottom of vehicle.

Jeff McKibbanThis was actually the 4th location we had to go to get the truck. The first (Kramer Hardware in Clear Lake), did not have a truck and transfer us to P&T Auto in Mason City. P&T contacted us on Thursday saying they would not have a truck until Saturday @ 9AM but were not open until 12PM. We called UHaul Dispatch and were directed to go to Belmond. This place had a truck, but no one knew how to sign it out. We had to go to Lyles Ford in Eagle Grove, an extra 60 miles out of our way. We were at least able to get the truck a day early and returned it two days early.

brad thillThe only thing that I didn’t like is the fact that no one is around to help you detaching the trailers, They just tell you to go to the parking lot there and drop it off!
rony ramirezI was very impressed with the people at this location, very friendly, helpful and got me on my way quickly. I was disappointed in that I had to drive 40 extra miles each way to pick up the truck when I was promised a truck in Algona, rather than Eagle Grove. The phone person who rearranged my pick up told me I would get a $50 guarantee and reduce my per mile to $0,59/mile but I was charged $0,79/mile and they didn't know what the $50 guarantee was at the Eagle Grove location.
