Moven dolly was broken with orange tape around it , rented 12 moving blankets pads ,one looked like very much dried blood the truck ran bad and used more gas than it should have . Very bad experience!

Pedro II would check the "Automatic" trailer hydraulic brakes. Anytime we hit bumps in the road I think the brakes were actuating as it was beating us up! I pull a 4300 pound camping trailer (same tow vehicle) that has electric brakes and never experienced such jerking as the U-Haul trailer.

jeanette bMy reservation was changed 3 times the night before. The morning of my truck was reserved for 8am. I did not get it until 11. I was then told that the equipment I had reserved was not available at the location and had to drive another 20 minutes to a different u-haul. Moving is a headache, and u-haul made it a migraine.

AJ PI was charged $23 for overfilling the gas when that's also how I received the truck... he put that it was only at the "Full" line when it was well over when I picked it up. In the future I will take pictures to dispute charges such as that. This was my first time renting a uhaul as well.
Milan MThe inside of the cab was dirty. The windows needed cleaning inside and out. No Washer Fluid. Wipers worn. Cupholder was so gross I wouldn't put anything in it. Getting out of the lot is quite challenging and one could easily damage the truck before they even start their journey.

Ajith NWhen I had ordered the UHAUL it was set to be where I could pick up up at 7:30am. I got a call the day before that it was not set up so I had to wait until they opened to pick it up which set me back about an hour starting to move. Other than that, the staff was friendly, the truck did the job, and I was pleased overall with the experience.

Jamile AFirst off, the staff there is very friendly so the customer service was fine. First issue we had to start the day was they had no dollies. Even though I had one on reserve, they had 0 when I arrived. This caused us to have to delay our move from the get go in order to go to another location to find an appliance dolly. From there it got worse. The truck only had 1 properly working seatbelt. Moving with a family requires all space and we needed 2 people plus the driver in that truck. My brother and daughter had to ride without a belt because of this. Second issue was the truck literally broke down!! Thank God it was not on a freeway, but we were stuck in a parking lot for over an hour with ALL of our belongings. We contacted service and they were able to assist but this made for an incredible inconvenience and put us behind our deadly significantly!! I was almost in tears at the experience and will definitely think twice before ever renting from Uhaul again!

Theresa RI ended up with around 225 miles ( did not use up the original 230 miles which was upgrade to 260 miles), The gas consumption was 24 gallons or around 9 miles/gal on;ywhen it should have been at least 12 mpg when I was only driving between 50 to 60 mph to make sure I am in economy mode. Did not stop at all because it's so hard to back up without a rear view mirror or camera ( I was told the 10 ft does which in my original reservation). I was told by customer service that the 15 footer consumes the same as the 10 footer but it is definitely not true. I called customer service to set up the return to the location and was told that I had to return to another location when Macarthur 121 was okay with the return. I told customer service that I did not assign and is just calling to set the drop off almost a day earlier. She got upset but eventually fixed it and asked me to check my phone for a text message and hung up on me. Called return location and they are very helpful and confirm that they can accept with no issue. The dealer was very honest and explained that the 10 foot truck uses less gas compared to the 15 ft and apologizes for all my ordeals. He was patient to print the receipt to assure me that everything is in order upon return and that there are no extra charges. Both pick up and drop off dealers are great but the u-haul customer service are not. Failure to communicate and giving the wrong information when customer is under pressure because I was told we told to be thankful to have a truck at a different city at the last minute.
John RThis is by far the best U-Haul rental spot around Coppell / Lewisville / Irving. The staff here is super helpful and friendly. The world would be better if all businesses treated their customers the way these guys do. PS - Do NOT rent from the Chevron on Beltline / Denton Tap. They are awful.
Thomas DThe truck wasn't ready the night we needed it. We couldn't start the move until the next day. In addition to this, we were told U-Haul was going to contact us about a $50 inconvenience card but that never happened. Also, the key provided didn't work for the lock that was on the truck, so we couldn't secure our cargo.
HENRY ATire sensor fault light was on. Found out upon the return one of the tires was changed to the spare with no sensor. Would have been nice to have know in advance so we didn't have to worry about the tire being low. Also low windshield fluid light was on-should have been filled before we picked up the van.
Gregory VEngine light on gas cap light on was told it was fine and was charged for two gallons of fuel we left the vehicle at the fuel level required and then next day seen on the bill 2 gallons charged to us, plain and simple rip off and no way we can fight it but we are going to leave a bad review for sure.
Jennifer CMy comment is this. I went 21 miles in this vehicle. I chose not to bring the gas level back up to where it was when I left. I have an HUGE issue with being charged for 3 gallons of gasoline for the usage of only 21 miles. I know I paid an up charge on the per gallon price of the gas but I certainly didn't even use 1 gallon of gasoline. I do know that I have other choices the next time I need to rent a vehicle or anything to help me with moving.

Raul AThe hook came off from the ball just before I was about to return near uhaul station due to a bump. I did not touch the joint. I was lucky that there was no accident ot damage. The joint between my car and trailer should have been strong and it should not got loose due to a bump.

mark sLocation and on site staff were excellent. Your website for online check in is abysmal. Luckily, it worked for the drop off after hours, but the pictures are extreme. I don't believe for an instant that someone won't physically check it anyway. And to threaten ridiculous charges for not taking multiple pictures for you was obsurd. I'll never do that again. Uhaul is no longer my first search for truck rentals.
