It was an ok experience. Workers just weren't experienced in the uhaul process. Took a lot longer than it should have to rent. Trailer was in excellent condition and worked great. Would recommend to friends and family though.!!

MAC'S Hardware was good but. They do not have '10, '15, or '20. It had a '26 Feet Truck. I went to the U-Haul Moving & Storage in Fargo, ND. The cashier told me. My ID Card is not accepting. Driver's License is required. I left Fargo's U-Haul then I used at MAC'S in Fargo. Not just $282, I paid $370 is wasted money for '26 Truck. It does not have '10 Truck. Yesterday I panhandled to ask for money got $19.00. Then today I panhandled to ask for money and got $31.00. Because '26 Truck is too big and gas is too big. I drove all over ND at all the times. I visited Fargo, Grand Forks, Devils Lake and Minot. Typewriter #20692 ~Ross of Dickinson, ND 58601

Make sure you have the correct dolly. I asked for a furniture dolly, there was a pull-behind trolley attached. Not the same thing and made moving a bit more challenging. I think I was also charged for it even when I didn't get it. Great customer service though.

The cat hauler needs repair to the Crank. Most of the gears are shaved to the nub.

The truck cab was not clean. I had to spend an extra 1/2 hr cleaning and wiping down the inside of the cab. With a pandemic happening I would think sanitizing of all rentals would be a priority.

Wiper blades should also be checked be rental! Mine smudged so bad, I got caught in some rain and went to use them and couldn't see. They did come out and replace during the night when I stopped which was nice, but a quick spray of wiper fluid and a couple of wipes would of determined before rental that they needed to be replaced

It took 2 gals that did not know what they were doing to get the truck turned in. They both struggled with the computer system and never were able to print out receipt. What should have taken 10 minutes took 45. The one gal kept getting side tracked with a trainee while the other took a personal call when she was helping us. Very poor customer service.

The Mac's location was excellent. The manager opened up early so we could get underway. Now let's talk about the U Haul location at 1436 Main AVE, Fargo ND. This is the location I was told to pick up my truck. I've never been treated so poorly and with complete devoid of respect for customers. After this experience I will NOT be recommending U Haul to anyone!!!! I am a GM of a $39 Mill company and if any of my employees ever treated customers like this, they would be instantly terminated.

When I got to the location I went to the uhaul web page to sign in however the website did not properly work. I tried calling for assistance however the 800 number kept saying there is an error on the uhaul end which hungup the call. I tried the app which gave me more progress however when I went to get the key the system said I needed to return a key that I never even had. This whole process took 2 hours to sort out. I only needed the uhaul for 2 hours this system ruined my moving plans. I would not recommend it. Also I was charged 3 times for the uhaul 2 which had to be manually refunded. I am very very disappointed.

The van that was given to us had terrible exhaust leak which caused the engine to be extremely loud, and had to wait 20 minutes before someone helped us when returning van.

Ensure computer systems are communicating with each other. Took over an hour to get checked in even though my registration was done the previous evening. The team member had to call various U-Haul sources to get it resolved.

Online rental and pickup was absolute garbage and took at least 3 times longer to actually get completed than it would have just doing it in the store. Will never, ever, ever use that again. Not the store's fault, just a horribly designed system.

Macs hardware was a great location. Uhual's website and customer service on the phone is absolutely horrible. The location itself was great. But I would rate Uhaul as a company poorly for them having to deal with its constant complications.

They told me I could pick up truck early went there and they were not even open till noon. Have me wrong truck size. Told them I may need truck a day longer when I rented it never said anything about a price increase if you added on. Not a happy camper....

They did ask if I needed help to hook up the car trailer and that was it. The truck had electric overdrive that I discovered. They did not have moving blankets. And when I had a problem with the truck on the road they were no help at all.

I reserved a car dolly. When I came to pick it up you didn't have one. Your staff seemed confused and unsure what to do. They gave me a car hauler that the lights didn't work on. After wasting a lot of time they got the lights working. Turns out, my car wouldn't load onto that hauler. I didn't know this car hauler wouldn't work until I tried to load the car on it. I had to bring the hauler back. Then a manager found a car dolly at a different location. After wasting 3 hours of my time you finally got me a car dolly. When someone reserves something you should have one for them. That's the point of a reservation. I tried to explain this to your staff but they seemed unwilling to listen. I was overwhelmed by the incompetence the staff at Macs and your 13 Ave location showed.

Please update the list of car models. They kept telling me over phone that my truck would not be able to tow what it was that I needed to town, because they could not and did not have the right car model in the system. I called 3 times with the same guy telling me it wouldn't work. Finally on the 4th time, a different guy picked up and finally made it work. It was a headache trying to rent this auto transport trailer.

Trailer worked just fine. The only surprise was that I brought my 2" ball hitch and was told it's a 1 7/8". I think hauling a vehicle requires a 2" could you please check this out and let me know. Thanks

Leaving the Main Ave store in Fargo after checking on our truck reservation my wife tripped on something sticking up in the parking lot and fell bruising her shoulder, elbow, both knees and cut in her hand. I asked U Haul employee for help getting her up he was not concerned, didn't ask if she was hurt and just said they were going to fix the lot last year but didn't get around to it but should do it this year. We asked for a first aid kit for the cut on her hand, elbow and knee and after what seemed a long time he came with a band aid.

The fuel tank was marked as full and it was not! I drove the truck 16 miles and had to put 6.5 gallons of gasoline in when I returned the truck. The fuel tank not being full was brought to the gentleman's attention prior to me leaving the lot but I was reassured that the truck was full of gas. This cost me $18.00 where it should have only come to $5.00 maximum to refuel the truck when I turned it back in. I was pissed but I was not going to take a chance and get changed U-HAULs price for fuel! NEVER AGAIN WILL I RENT U-HAUL!!!

Make sure that the order is checked. We were missing 3 items we asked for and it wasn't noted until we had left. It took 20 minutes to get checked out. Not enough help present at 8 a.m. to process orders and run the store.

We got here to do the drop off and even though if states you can do a 24 hour drop off, there is no drop box to leave the key in.

We waited for an hour but to get the truck and they had to cancel the order a few times and start over. On a reservation it should never take that long .I am extremely upset about this issue as I was on a time frame and this set me back and caused me to be late for arrangements that I had made.

I reserved a 15' vehicle and was supposed to pick it up at a location close to me. Once I got there, the guy said it wasn't there and they don't have anything left; He said it was at another location instead. I drove to the other location, which was all the way across town. When I got to that location, they said it was at another location. The third location had no signage or anything to indicate they had Uhauls(it's a MACS hardware store) We had to go into a hardware store and ask a cashier about this. Once I got the Uhaul, they didn't include the dolly I ordered and said it wasn't their problem. In the end, it took over an hour to drive to the three different places the Uhaul was supposed to be, and no one even apologized or offered to do anything to help. Absolutely terrible experience.

It took over 20 minutes for manager to come help me with the checkout process, and they weren't familiar with the system, so another manager had to be called over (another 10 minute wait). Overall, it took somewhere between 45 minutes to an hour before I was able to finally leave. Also, when selecting my drop off location, they weren't addressing my questions about why my original destination I chose when I made the reservation online wasn't available, and just chose one of the three available for me at random, saying "you can just call ahead and drop it off anywhere." I later found out that would be an ordeal in itself. They did say they were relatively new to renting U-Haul, but their staff definitely needs more training on the check-out system.

Our return time was 11:36am. We arrived onsite at 11:10am with the truck already cleaned out and parked in the designated area. I went inside and inquired with the retail checkout cashier where I go to return my UHaul rental as there were no signs inside or outside of the building. The cashier was unsure and asked another employee who also had no clue who I should speak with. I requested to call a manager to assist me. I waited over 10 minutes before asking if the cashier could please page the manager again. After another 10 minutes of waiting at the front of the store, I asked again if someone was coming to assist me. It was now around 11:25am. They ensured me "she would be right up". Frustrated, I began the self checkout online, ran out to the truck to take the required photos, successfully completed check out and then returned to the cashier area. Still no manager. Time was 11:41am. When the manager finally did show up to help me, she was unfriendly and must've been having a bad day. When I voiced my concerns that I waited so long and inquired if I would be penalized for the late check out, she snappily said she had no idea and that she had no control over any of that, then walked away. I was charged an extra $40 for an additional day rental due to checking out online 5 minutes late and wasting my time waiting for the manager. I would not recommend this location for anything related to UHaul.
