No one at facility during posted business hours. I manually lift the trailer off the hitch of my truck. Not an easy thing to do on a 6x12 box trailer. I attempted calling the office number but there was no answer, and no voicemail. They were aware I was dropping it off since I advised them yesterday.SANDRA C.

The truck was promised at the Clovis, Ca site, we got there and no truck. We had to travel to Madera Ranchos to get one, inconvenienced. The gas tank was 1/2 full, not full . Making a reservation doesn't work evidently.SANDRA D.

Online check out service is great but when the internet connection is so weak in that area it isn't the best way to go, throw in the fact that it was over 105 degrees and the trucks are in the middle of a dirt field with no shade, it was just not the best experience trying to follow the steps and maintain my patience.Lawrence O.

There were nut shells all over the back of the truck. It had not been swept out. The worker at the pickup location was extremely rude and unhelpful. He refused to assist in any way and demanded that everything be done over the phone. The app told me to get assistance inside, and he said it wasn't his job. He stated he was afraid of CIVID-19 and couldn't help customers. He wouldn't even open the gates to his location (Truck was parked outside) He did not have the pads or appliance dolly ready for us. He provided a dirty truck. He wouldn't even bring them out until the regional U-Haul manager called and told him he had to. This was the absolutely worst rental experience ever. It literally took me over three hours on the phone with U-Haul while waiting outside the pickup location for them to give me the code to get the keys to the truck. An hour later another U-haul representative called and kept me on the phone for 30 minutes because she said the contract had not been done properly by the previous phone representatives. Then she CHARGED MY CARD AGAIN. She promised me extra days, and then when I turned the truck in they charged me for two extra days. SHAME ON U-HAUL. They authorized my card THREE separate times. This experience was horrible, I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. I can't believe U-Haul treats customers the way I was treated.James W.

I did on line pick up so I didn't have to worry about picking up keys. When I got through the process it said pick up keys from agent. I had made arrangements to pick up the truck at 8:30 with the agent when he called to confirm pickup but the agent didn't arrive at the facility until 8:56. The agent does not answer the phone when you call at this facility. If you have people helping you I don't recommend this facility.Danny M.

The day before pick-up, I received a call telling me that I would need to go to another location to pick-up. That location was more than 30 minutes from the scheduled pick-up site. The woman that called me was very rude when I asked why the truck was in Fresno instead of the location that I rented it from. When I asked if it could be brought to that location, she said "We don't have drivers to do that. You will need to go to the other location". I called Bruce at the Madera Ranchos U-Haul and he offered to go get it from Fresno for me. I was able to pick-up at that site as scheduled which was much appreciated!!! I have talked to friends who have had the same experience with U-Haul( the truck not in the location promised). I feel that this is unacceptable!!!KATHYRN E.

While the phone reps and local people in Madera and Sacramento were great your electronic transfer of info from one location to another was all wrong which caused me some grief. I was concerened I was going to be overcharged. Well it all worked out fine. On another note, the truck (20ft) got great gas mileage. All most twice as much as a previous trip from the same city to the same destination.DELBERT A.

The brake/turn indicator lights were not all working on the trailer I rented. It seems there is no time to check these things before it is picked up and the worker did not know how to replace it or have a new bulb if he could figure it out. Other than that it was a very pleasant experience and I would still go back when in need.QUENTIN E.

I had reserved the truck for a different location. They changed the location to 30 miles away and very inconvenient. It almost didn't work and there were many things depending on this arrangement. In the future, if this happened, I would expect Uhaul to get the truck to where I reserved to pick it up.DAMIEN R.

It is just a dirt lot on the side of the building. If not for the sign, there is no way to tell there is anything more than a storage business there, as are these drop-off locations calling themselves dealers. Once again, I reserved my Uhaul about three weeks in advance, the day prior they call me and tell me the equipment I ordered won't be available at the location I picked, I had to drive 15 miles to get it... Then they only gave me three options to return it in Modesto, Ca. The closest one was 10 miles away, but i pas like 5 on the way there which where way closer..... not happy... looks like penske will be used next time...ARTHUR P.

Repair your equipment. The driver side windshield wiper fell off in tyhe rain, the hold-down hook on the back of the 14 foot truck got stuck up in the roof twice, the strap on the handtruck was worn out and too short. The truck had an 1/8th of a tank of gas at the beginning and there was no way not to overfill it. The employee was polite and very helpfull, for example when I left my housekey in the truck he opened up after hours and he is to be commended.JOHN C.

It took forever to check out the truck due to the u-hauls internet service, ended up taking the truck with no contract, then shortly after when loading the truck had to stop and meet the service rep to give money and receive contract at a location near me, as the u-haul pick up was very far from my home. they offered to let me return the truck near my home, but didnt tell me it was considered on-way and more expensive! When i questioned the guy at u-haul about this new rate he accused me of trying to give him a hard time. We ended up spending almost 140 dollars for one day use of a 17ft truck, in town! I will try never to use this service again, and will tell everyone i know about my service, and terrible delay!
