The worst. Like I'd rather pay 5x as much and use professional movers than deal with uhal again. I was told I was making a reservation through the man at the storage unit. Records had shown the storage unit didn't have any 10ft trucks available in the time frame I needed. So he helped and reserved one at Maddison Mart for me. Except he didn't. I ended up having to reserve one over the phone after texting back and forth with someone to find out it was a request he completed and not a reservation. I arrived to the location after figuring out out it was part of a convenience store and that's where I needed to check out my truck. Of course the store opperater had problems finding my record. So he helped the 4 people in line at his grocery store even though I was at the counter first. He needed all my information again. The same info I provided at the storage unit for the request and the same info I provided over the phone for the reservation. After which I found out they did not have the two furniture dollies I had been told they had. He explained this was uhal's issue. They should have a quantity on hand when making reservations. So I then had to increase the time amount on my rental so I could go to home depot and rent one. I needed two because I was moving a piano. Do you know how hard it is to convince people to help you move a piano? So I had to explain to these folks "Sorry uhal screwed up I'll be a half our later. Just wait outside in the 35 degree weather." Also home depot charged $13 for the same dolly uhal charged $30. I went to the storage unit before the move to confirm I had the right key before I got this all started. While there I noticed THREE 10ft box trucks. When I finished moving the piano the SAME THREE where there. I could have rented one from that location if uhal's records had been correct... Uhal failed every single place they could have in this interaction. There was a 100 % failure rate in this short 3hr time frame. Now I understand their Google rating 2,3 I think. Location was very unprofessional. Person working seemed like they didn't know what they were doing. Used truck to move some wood from Home Depot to my house. Never put anything but myself in the cab of the truck. Was charged 3 different times by this location & 3 different amounts. Still waiting on Uhaul to rectify the situation as right now I've got $200 tied up for a pickup truck rental. Worst uhaul experience ever & I will not rent from this location EVER again.Matthew J.

We got a 10 foot truck but had ordered a 15 foot truck. This seriously hindered our move and we're charged more because had to drive more miles. The uhaul order said our truck was guaranteed as I booked it far in advanced. It was a poor experience because we got the wrong truck.Andrew K.
Three comments: 1. The pickup location was not the location that I selected when I made the reservation for the truck. I arrived at the initial location and was told upon arrival that I had to drive 15 minutes to the "actual" location to pick up the truck. 2. The truck had only a half tank of gas when I picked it up. 3. The truck itself was not what I reserved. It was a larger size than I needed, and a larger size than I reserved. The personnel I encountered at the pick up and drop off locations were very friendly, helpful and professional.David Y.

You can let the customer know exactly how much money is required before they waist their time & gas. I was quoted one price on the U-Haul website, then Mike told me another price once I got there. Also, I was Over charged by $15, I was just getting ready to call to see WHY??? One last thing, why does U-Haul charge 0,69 cents per mile & have you put the gas tank back where it was?Elaine M.

The 24/7 rental system didn't work; the rental van's check engine light was on; there was a payment processing error on uhaul's end during the process; my recent order is not appearing on my uhaul online account; and I haven't received a final receipt email from uhaul despite returning the van in-person to the uhaul agent. The convenience store employee at this location was able to help me switch my intended drop-of location to this preferred site which was within a mile of my last move-to location. For some reason U-Haul had identified another drop-off location six miles away which didn't make any sense. The store employee phoned U-Haul's Traffic Center and was successful in switching it to hos site for me. For that I give him kudos!bryan S.

This is a "side business" operated within a mini mart. The owner was an hour late opening the store, several renters had been waiting the whole time, he made no apology or even acknowledged this. Due to the late start, I returned my vehicle an hour late (still during regular business hours) and was charged a second day, later refunded when contacting U-Haul corporate. Vehicle was brand new, great, service was awful, and I'll never go back.Walter S.

Gentleman who helped was beyond helpful and mindful. Too bad Uhaul corporate screwed up and never assigned a truck to my reservation. When he made attempted calls to corporate to resolve it no one was there to answer. Thankfully he was quick thinking and was able to get me on my way only 45 minutes late due to corporate. Person that was in charge of opening that location was an hour late getting there. I had a 9am appt to pick up the uhaul. They didnt come til 10. This made it harder on me to get my move accomplished and also made me late for work. Also there were mechanical issues with the vehicle. While sitting behind a car at a traffic light the vehicle ended up moving forward while i was pressing the brake. I mentioned this issue when i returned the uhaul and the guy there didnt act like he was worried or concerned.CODY T.
