Madlocks was great! The trailer was waiting for me when I pulled up. The gentleman (Mr. Madlock) that assisted me with the hooking it to our truck, and finalizing the rental agreement, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely rent from that location in the future.

Madlocks on King Street the owner is Knowledgeable, with a Great personality. Remarkable service in Mentoring me in getting my Vintage BMW up on the ramp and strapped in properly for the long haul across the coastline. The owner left me feeling confident in my next steps and that my car was safe and ready for this adventure. I Thank the owner for assisting me. (As if he was family). The trip went Fantastic. The storage truck was only one year old and drove amazing. The customer service lady who thought of me when this truck came available and connecting us (Madlocks on King street in Hampton VA). All was in Divine order. Earlier that day i Gave my Angels permission to assist me in this move and they did. I thank them for orchestrating with Uhaul company an unforgettable peaceful, smooth and enjoyable trip. I am glad to add this memory into my life book journey. Grateful.

this person called me countless times to the point it felt like harrassment to make sure i was brining the truck back by 8/16/2022 at noon. For example i picked the truck up SATURDAY by Sunday I was receiving text message and countless phone calls and voicemails. Monday alone while trying to drive home SAFELY from GA to VA this man called me 10 times. i would send the call to voice mail he would call right back. It was very forceful unprofessional bothersome and harrassing. Calling me back to back is not going to get the results he was looking for, instead Its giving him a poor review. I understood the terms of my contract and when to have the rental back by. I could see if it was Today 8/16/22 and it was getting close to my drop of time of noon then calling to ensure i as still going to make my drop off time or if i needed to extend it but that was not the case at all. It was immediate pick up[ Saturday to when they closed yesterday that i was receiving calls. I made sure to have the truck dropped off last night to STOP THE CALLS. Even if i needed to extend my rental i would have not done so to avoid dealing with him. I would have gone to an other more professional and courteous dealer. The location was a junk yard/junk car repair place.!! I could barely park the truck there because it was so over populated with damaged vehicles. I would have never thought this place was an authorized dealership based off of how it looked. it was dirty poor lighting and felt very unsafe to do an after hours drop off. if o would give them a lower score -10 is what it would be . Nothing about my return was a pleasant memory all very traumatic you should reconsider highly this location as a dealer for your wonder business.

Bigger lot for easier access in and out. The parking at night is very tight and smal lot full already of cars, trucks and trailers.

Think everything is perfect the way it is it didn't cost that much the truck was excellent condition low miles and ran like a charm it is a little big though lol

This self pickup this was frustrating I won't be doing it again. The truck was parked in a spot too small for it and was very difficult to put back.

The self-service app was a slight pain. Had difficulty with it freezing up. Had to get customer service involved to fix issue. On the other hand, app is a benefit, as I was able to check out and return truck with facility closed.

It was a mechanics shop and had no parking available when I dropped it off I had to try and squeeze the truck into a half spot the best I could the location was scuzzy and not friendly or nice to be at whatsoever

Always make sure when sending an email with the location, that it is location. I had to go to different location to pick up my trailer!

The lot was overly crowded with vehicles not easily maneuverable for a person that does not drive big trucks like uhaul

This spot is very crowded and hard to get into and out of. Also, I paid for a queen size mattress cover and when I got there and asked about the cover I was told that they no longer carry them. Why? It's a U-Haul dealer. So now my mattress has black grease all over it because I did NOT have time to stop somewhere and pick one up. I had movers scheduled to be at my home and didn't have time to go get one. I've used U-Haul for all of my moves and if you look you'll seee it's often. I was really upset and angry this time. I'd at least like a refund for the money I paid for the mattress cover. The inside of this U-Haul had black grease all over it so many of items and boxes are greasey... not happy at all. The guys there did a fine job!

No place to turn around have to attempt to back trailer that says no backing on it into busy 4 lane road. After picking up notice tires on trailer had flat spots and out of balance. Also one of the trailer lights was not connected so I had to wire the trailer light up for it to function. Overall poor quality and maintenance of equipment I will never pay 424 dollars to rent from uhaul again not worth the money and hassle.

Very little room to park vehicle, and exiting was a bit sketchy since there wasn't much room too maneuver out with the trailer. Had to moved park car and still hopped to curb to leave.

They were over packed with uhauls and cars being worked on, I was sent to a different location then turned way and sent back

Truck was not ready for a cross country trip. Bald left back tire, engine fluid leak, rough idle. Drop off location was shocked at the poor condition of the truck when it was turned in. They said it should have never been issued to me.

The owner didn't really care about the uhaul at all. It was the worse experience with uhaul ever, would not rent a uhaul again, it was a waste of money. Super disappointed

I hated every step of the "app" rental. I would much rather deal with a live person than go through this 24/7 rental. At pick-up, I had the most difficult time checking into the app. Location services was a problem (more so on my end but still equally frustrating) The online process just took forever. It was not streamlined or quick. At drop-off, I must not have verified the mileage correctly so when I input the drop-off mileage it wouldn't accept it. The page said I was 2 000 miles over when I only had the truck for 6 hours. Awful time with the online page again! Called the customer service #, waited on hold for over a 1,5 hours for a representative to discuss the issues. Honestly, it was the worst experience ever.

The mobile login wasn't as fast as expected. The employee got me processed in less than 5 minutes. Great place to rent a moving trip.

I was told i would recieve my $100 when i drop off the rental...i took the rental back a day early and was told i would be mailed $60 ,,,now i have to call and find out whats going on ??

Checknlug nuts. Ours appeared to be rusted on, making a roadside repair very time consuming if it were needed.

Very cluttered and unorganized. Did not have blanks to fill my request. I was give 5 of the 12 moving blanket requested. This location had vary little of the normal U-Haul supplies. I was very surprised by this location, not the norm for U-Haul.

Good but seemed to over charge again
