Location open until 11pm even on Sunday (but get there earlier(10:40)as clerk needs time to clean up prior to close). Pick-up, Van, and 10' box truck.

This location is the best. The staff member I worked with for both pickup and drop off was exceptionally pleasant and professional. The equipment is very clean and well maintained. Open late, and gas on-site too. Thanks Shell Magnolia!

I got No call to confirm reservation. The people providing the service were very rude. The location is actually a gas station and i wanted to put gas before i returned the vehicle and they didnt let me. I got charged for fuel. Very dissapointing and disatisfying experience. Ill never rent from them.

Was told when picking up the rental that I should not return the truck to this location and can drop off anywhere I like. This was great as this location was out of my way but it was the only one that had the truck I needed. Unfortunately, when I went to drop off the truck at the location closest to me, I am told the Uhaul representative mistakingly set it up so that I could only return back to his location. This ended up being a huge waste of time. Then, when I arrived at the gas station dropoff I filled the gas tank back up to more than what I left with.... Only to receive a receipt 30 minutes later showing that he charged me $8 for gas! I dropped the truck off at a gas station and had a full conversation with the employee as I was filling up! Absolutely terrible experience.

Upon arrival, the staff initially refused to take the vehicle stating that my vehicle was not in the system, even though I had a contract in hand which stated the drop off location was at Magnolia Shell. He repeatedly mentioned he does not work for UHaul and asked me to contact UHaul directly. I attempted to call UHaul both on its customer service now, as well as the Marine Drive location where I picked up the truck but there was no answer after being on hold for over 15 minutes. Finally, the staff at this location reached out to UHaul and said that it was finally updated and that it was UHaul's fault for not updating the system. This was an extremely frustrating experience that took over 45 minutes to resolve, even though I had a physical contract in hand which listed all the information.

This location had internet connectivity problems, as well as communication problems generated by the app experience. Because I reserved the vehicle online, and had begun the process via my phone, I was under the impression I would not have to interact with a person. It was no problem that I had to do this, until he also started the process of renting out the vehicle, and there was no back-end plug-and-play for the on-site U-Haul representative to see that. Because of bad internet at the location, I had to continue to go in and out of the building to check and see if my ride had been verified online, and he could not verify my ride because he saw that I was already reserving that vehicle via the app. Additionally, the on-site rep did not put the dolly in my vehicle, and did not give me the one requested when I went through the process with him. When I checked in, I still had to pay the extra $7 to rent something I did not have. We had some additional troubleshooting problems when we returned, and, due to the inexperience of the on-site representative, he was unsure of how to deal with all of them, and it held us up. Again, it being 9pm on a Saturday night, I did not expect to have to deal with a representative based the app capabilities.

This was a horrific experience, this location was not only Ill equipped , but did not have sufficient internet connection to even load the website to let me have the rental, I had to leave and come back waiting over an hour of my time. When I came to drop off I finished dropping off in the app and the location did NOT have a drop off box (even though they were listed as an overnight drop off) which meant I had to leave the van and then COME BACK the next day to return the keys. I am beyond frustrated with this situation and the man at the gas station was so incredibly not helpful. I’ve used U-Haul many times but this was ridiculous.

No service in the area provides for impossible self check in or out... only used truck for half a day and returned to same location only to be charged for two days ... customer service at Corp office extremely rude and unhelpful

DO NOT RENT HERE; GO DIRECTLY TO U HAUL INTERBAY. The website said that I could check the vehicle out using only my phone. After 15 minutes of uploading photos of my license and passport and being on the phone with someone from a call center in Phoenix, the manager of the gas station came out and said I had to do everything with him. The manager then made a copy of my license and checked out the keys to me, asking where I wanted to drop the van off when I was done. I asked if I could drop it off at the Interbay U Haul and he said that that was fine, and told me he had changed it in the system and it wouldn’t cost me anything extra. I turned the keys in at the U Haul in Interbay, well within the timeslot I had reserved. I received my bill a couple of days later with an extra $200 charge. I called and the manager at U Haul Interbay said the manager at the gas station had either lied or was mistaken because whatever he did in the system made it so I had to return the vehicle to the gas station and couldn’t have returned it anywhere else, hence the fee for returning it to the “wrong location”. The manager at U Haul Interbay was incredibly understanding and worked with me to have the van brought back to the gas station, AND made sure the additional charges were dropped. I asked if I could file a complaint about the other guy, and he said there wasn’t really a way to do it because they only contract with U Haul. I would never recommend going to rent something here! Go directly to U Haul Interbay if you’re in this area — they are so helpful, and they can actually be held accountable if anything happens to go wrong, unlike these guys.

Staff at location not trained. I attempted to pick up the truck using my mobile phone. I went through all the online steps... and the still had to wait 15 minutes while staff fussed over the booking because they had no idea what they were doing. Return was as disorganized. I had to eventually take charge and tell the staff member to take my keys since I had already returned it using my mobile. Clueless staff at location.
