The truck was dirty as dirty can be (see picks) the person helping me added “safe insurance” without me asking for anything. When o asked him to please removable that, he simply said uhaul will do it later. When I asked to kindly provide his business cars, so a uhaul representative would know when asked, he refused. He simply said: that's not necessary. Very much lacking customer service or acknowledgement.

No clear instructions on where to park the van.

When I filled the tank with gas the truck started leaking gas at the opening on the truck. I couldn't fill any more gas into the truck. I expect to not be charged any further and my account to be closed when you receive this information.

The cashier stated that there will be an initial hold of 189. He assured me it would be cheaper. But that's what the today charge ended up being. If I knew I was going to pay that much I would have kept shopping. Also their 15 ft truck wasn't eligible to be dropped off at another location like I set up on the website. Basically my order changed and I was charged more then quoted online.

Not good overall. The truck I reserved was not available when I arrived. I took a bigger truck, but when the owner changed it on the computer, the 'Safe Move' fee that I had waived was on the agreement... I knew the number was bigger, and asked. Was told it was fees, and taxes. The truck cabin was not clean. A couple of surgical masks, and some paper laying around. The box itself was clean.

over a month before my trip I requested a 20' truck on Monday 9/20, I was told I had it and to pick it up on ALameda Av. San Jose. then on Wednesday at 1 P.M. I was told NO only a 15' on Snell Av. for Thursday at 11. Not even 24 hour notice. So I had to go down and rent an added trailer messing up our Planned travel .Not locations fault but U-HAUL"s

Pad lock is difficult to lock due to less space. outside it works but when hooked it is difficult to lock. should have longer pad lock. I had 10' truck but for 90 miles it took 5 or 6 gallons fuel. Not sure whether normal. otherwise it is all good.

Thank you so much! Everyone was so helpful and kind to my boyfriend and I as it was our first time ever renting a uhaul. The experience was super user friendly and easy! We definitely recommend this location.

I was told the vehicle had to be returned without damage and the vehicle needed to be cleaned. I'm addition, the attendant told me to not use the dolly or furniture pads if I did not want to be charged. When examining the truck, I noticed the truck was dirty and covered with tree sap. It also had damage around the truck. Original pictures made it hard to see this damage. The dolly and furniture pad did not have zip ties or anything to indicate if the equipment had been used.

The app needs to be more clearer. When first arriving to pick up the truck, should add a breadcrumb notice as to how many steps remain. We spent 15 minutes in the parking lot navigating the app, repeatedly entering personal info I entered earlier. Lame.

The rental was a debacle from beginning to end. The 24/7 rental was not available as promised. the call center failed to keep it promises to resolve the issue. the local agent was entirely unhelpful. I'll never rent from you again.

MailStop man lied, which means he likes to take Americans(this one, of course)money. Did not need insurance as he took 20$ for that. Charged EXTRA mileage before use of truck. Lousy un-American people do real Americans as they do each other in their own country. Being nice to them is weak and dumb, so they take advantage of you before you know it, and right after. Same thing every where you go now. America loses because of people like this.

On the surface the vehicle was clean, but with covid, the truck was definitely not sanitized. Cup holders had dried up soda or something. The touchable surfaces were not clean. I.e., steering wheel, door handles, radio knows and vent controls. I took lysol wipes and cleaned it all. Definitely not acceptable.

I was charged for a full quarter if gas and when I recived the U haul it was already half way. So I ended up paying for extra gas that I didn't use

NEVER rent a truck in this shop. Every time when I need to use a truck, Uhaul is my first choice, but that was my first time being charging an after hour service fee. I rented the truck in 15:40, and returned back in 19:05, less than 4 hours using that truck. When I picked up my truck, I was NOT told that there would be an after hour service fee. He just told me if the shop was closed at the time I came back I could just put the key in the box, said it's 24-hour service. Then, the shop was closed at the time I went back, I put the key in the box.(It's a very tiny shop with really a bunch of service provided: USPS, UPS, Fedex, Uhaul....very hard to find when picking up the truck btw.) However, I got the bill the day after rental day, there was an After Hour Service Fee for 20 dollars in my bill. I called the location for an explanation, and I got a lot of complaint about how busy he was in daily routing, how many things he needed to do everyday in that tiny shop, how hard for him to hold the Uhaul service during COVID-19..... ????????? I can't believe that's the words I heard from a shop manager in America.

My experience at my drop off location wasn't that great. The address was Mail Stop 6017 Snell Av San Jose, CA 95123. I was charged $40 for additional day, which was not absurd. I returned the uhaul truck nearly on time. Yes, I was late 17 minutes only because I was in line to be checked in. Per the worker “Shawn” at uhaul Mail Stop, when I called him about why I was charge for the extra day, he explain to me that it was accidental on his part and that he doesn't know why the computer did that. Shawn said he will refund it by today within a couple of hours. It's almost three weeks and I have not received my refund or heard from Shawn. Truck was rented out at 10:05am on 6/19/2020 And Returned at 10:22am the very next day on 6/20/2020. There's no need to charge me an extra day. Please see see that I get my refund of $40.00. Merci.

The rental took over an hour to pick up. The windshield wiper did not work and it was sprinkling that day. There was miscellaneous wrappers in cabin I threw out. I dropped off the rental with more gas than I picked it up with and now I'm getting charged and additional fee (not sure for what I placed an email to cust care) The online pickup system seems great in theory but the service dept had me wait 45 minutes just to tell me to retake my photo of my ID in order to pick up. Also when dropping off the vehicle the poor quality lock stopped working and a very nice representative trieed to help but that took another 30 minutes and I still had to drive an extra 8 to 15 miles to drop off the truck at a different location.

I was a few hours late, I didn't realize I'd be charged for a whole day. I won't use Uhaul again, I had to pay and extra 61 dollars. when I picked up the vehicle in Santa cruz they were over 45 minutes late
