I received an email stating that equipment had not been returned. I use the vehicle for only 3 hours and returned the same day so I'm not sure how someone came to that conclusion. I returned it with gas that was required along with returning the keys to the office staff

The store was supposed to open at 9:00 AM and did not open until 9:20 AM. The truck cab and storage area were dirty and the clerk charged me for insurance even though I had declined the coverage. I have rented U-Haul trucks twice within the past two weeks and had numerous issues for both rentals.

My rental was not available for retrieval until 2 hours after my check-in time. Upon returning the vehicle, the key drop box was missing, so I spent 2 phone calls and about 40 minutes on the phone trying to explain this to U-Haul. Then I had to go back 2 days later to return the key.

This wasn't even a U-Haul location at all, they just accept trucks in, and the man running it was so kind, helpful, and went out of his way to make returning the truck as easy as he could!

I was very satisfied until now, 4 weeks later there is a charge on my card for TOLL. I saw it in my bank account online and was upset because we just moved and put the money in thebank for my first House Payment. Luckily we had no overdrafts but UHaul should advise someone before charging anything on our account. We DID NOT use any TOLLS at all. My # is 832 931 7221 And my address 4643 Hollybrook Ln. First I want to be clear that the service at this location was fine and my comments below refer to problems with the U-Haul reservation system. We'd originally made a reservation for a cargo van at another location (order number 27960751) and received an email confirmation (there was no indication of limited availibility). When we arrrived (on time) no cargo vans were available. We were then sent to the above location where a different vehicle (10 ft truck) was available. The clerk at the Uhaul of meyerland location did a good job of helping us locate the second rental. However: - This was inconvenient for us and cost us time during a busy day. - We were disappointed that we were unable to rent a cargo van and had extra costs as a result (higher mieage and insurance charges). - It is annoying to have a confirmed reservation and find out no vehicle is available.

Man !! The guy is super fast and amazing when dealing with us. Simply go with Mailbox of Braeswood for Uhual and other Shipping related activity like UPS and FedEx, we also did shipments from this location and we are happy with them. 5 out of 5

The best rental place for Uhaul in the area. The guy was so calm, helped me out with the process thoroughly and also walked me through the truck. It was so easy to drop off and leave the key at the box. Indeed this is my best place to rent and they also give you quotes on call and reserve too.

I am very dissatisfied with U Haul policy . I rented a wrong size truck and returned it within 10 minutes to exchange it for a smaller truck. I was charged for the returned truck and had yo full price for the second rental. Seems unfair since I only drove the truck 1.8 mi. And returned it within 10 minutes.

It took 45 mins to check out because the owner did not want me to rent the van because it was a new truck. He warned me several times that if the truck was damaged in any way I would have to pay for the damage. I showed him the insurance card and he again asked will they pay for any damage , can you afford to pay for the damage? I was charged twice for the rental of the van. This caused a $25 charge to my account , the bank charged a $35 fee and I have to pay a $200 late fee! I have called customer service 3 times today and I have not reached a person to solve the issue. I called the office where I rented the van and he has not returned my call! This has been a bad experience! The customer service person Kara Smith was very helpful and resolved my issues

Agent was misleading. The van we rented says $19.95 a day, he said that’s the rate. We were renting for 2 days so the rate said ‘$39.90’. We assumed that meant the total for 2 days as again he said $19.95 a day. We are working on getting our money back. He doesn’t answer our phone calls. Would not recommend this place.

It is a handy location for people living in the area. I am glad to know that I can rent from there, The person who checked in my truck was clearly not happy to be working on that day. She was frustrated with the system and she apparently charged me for an extra day - which was later fixed.

I was not given a drop box key when I picked up the U Haul key. I returned the truck but made a trip the next day to return the keys. It was no big deal though. Other than that, all went very smoothly. I would definitely book through them again.

U-Haul changed my pick up address without telling me. So when I called to confirm the van that I rented, they didn’t have it. I had to call the 800-number to find out where my van last. It wasn’t as close by as I had hoped. So it was more inconvenient for me.

I booked a uhaul from Kirby/main st, which was closer to my place (less than a mile); I was assigned an uhaul from this location which was almost 6 mile away from my place, so I had to pay extra money for these extra milage with no fault of my own. This is really unfortunate, we should be informed right away before we reserve uhaul about the availability of the equipment at our preferred location.

The inside of my U-haul was wet and covered in water, most likely because whoever cleaned it was too lazy or incompetent to dry it out. I didn't check the inside before I drove it away because I assumed it would be clean and have never had a problem with u-haul before. I'm a Houston resident who just had a house flooded by Hurricane Harvey. The whole point of moving your furniture via u-haul is to keep it dry and undamaged. It's extremely frustrating when the inside of the u-haul has standing water and the customer has to clean it up. Other than that, the service was good and the location was extremely convenient.

The U-Haul was disgusting. There was Coke spilled all in the back of the van, dog hair all over the place, and trash all in the vehicle before we even took it.

I appreciated the helpful staff during this stressful time (Hurricane Harvey). However, I drove the truck only 12 miles and was charged $21.00 for fuel (5.6 gallons). That means that I was only getting about 2 miles per gallon and half the time the truck was unloaded. That does not seem right.
