I'm glad I went to this location personally and rented the truck. I called the 800 number for U-Haul and they seem pretty clueless. They wanted me to pick up the truck an hour away from my house. This place was only five minutes away.

Make sure we're aware of buying insurance and getting the correct time to pick up the truck. We were on the phone for over 1 hour in order to open key box to pick up our key for truck. People were gone early from location as we were informed to come by 4 pm. Nobody was there as location was locked.

I don't have an issue per se with the location, it has to do with the check-in process in particular. The app was a nightmare to use. It was not functioning properly and since the location was not open at 7am on a Sunday when we needed the truck, we had no alternative when the app was failing. It took us almost an hour to get some phone assistance and they would not accept both my and my wife's phone numbers, so we resulted in giving them our daughter's phone number just to get the process to go. What should have been a simple on-line check-in proved to be an hour long struggle. Also, we were quoted a price and a drop off location close to where we were moving. After we finally got the check-in done, it gave us a new drop off location that was 20 miles away. Then to add insult to injury, they were going to charge me $3 extra since we went over the allotted miles. I will never again use a remote U-Haul option. Unless I can have a human there to assist, I simply don't trust the current app system for getting a vehicle.

No one was at this location to assist us even though the hours indicated were 9-3. We arrived at 855 and tried to pick up the truck via the app. The app kept hanging and kept asking us for 3 different people for U-Haul to call to verify that it was actually us renting the truck. When we finally got the code to get the key 40 minutes later, the key lock was frozen over. So now we had to figure out how to thaw the lock to spell the code that opened it. This entire experience was unnecessarily cumbersome and antiquated. U-Haul should really update their locations with more modern technology if they intend to allow locations to rent trucks but not have staff on site to assist. The representatives we spoke to at U-Haul customer service as well as via the chat feature did their best to help us and gave us our lost 40 minutes back. Please fix your app to make it more user friendly and more responsive to input provided. The app timed out on us and got hung up at least 4 times.

The facilities and staff at the pick up and drop off locations were superb; they were courteous, helpful, friendly, and went out of their way to make this transaction as user friendly as possible. Now, as for the U-Haul "Ride share 24/7 app." it was a terrible experience. If I were asked to rate my experience using this app., I would use words that aren't suitable for printing. Furthermore, I would NEVER use U-Haul again or recommend it to a friend. Please keep personnel on site to handle rentals.

Ordered a 26' truck and when we went to pick it up the lady said it wasn't available anymore. That's not a real good way to conduct business. I was planning on making 1 trip and had to make 2 at another date because the truck wasn't big enough. Why bother reserving at truck then

Original drop off was Friendship Exxon in Berlin, MD. This site no longer exists after a fire at the site. Your website is unaware of this status which wasted my time finding alternate site.

The staff were friendly but I ran into problems with my rental not having a clear drop off location and then once I finally got a drop off location, the parking lot was cramped and the drop off box for the key was impossible to find. The hours were also limited so no staff were present initially to help me with the late afternoon drop off. However the next day when they were in the office, they were extremely helpful and stayed late so I could drop off the rental key after work.

I originally rented from the Exxon and when i arrived, was told they don't open til noon. My meeting with the storage facility was at 11am. I Googled and found Main St Storage, drove over, and the front desk person (I think it was Isabella) was awesome. She honored my reservation; got me a truck and I was out the door in less than 10 mins. I made my appointment, and all was good.

Deborah and Isabel of Main Street Storage were great ! They really came through for me. When I made my reservation with them for a 10 ft. truck to be picked up at 11:00 am I was politely informed that one may not be available that day but if not I would receive a phone call the night before from the U-Haul location where I would need to pick up the truck. Well since I didn't receive a call I went to pick up the truck at Main Street Storage but alas no 10 ft truck was available. I was told I needed to pick up the truck at the Grey's Corner U-Haul location (who apparently should have called me the night before but did not) not too far away so no big deal ... yet. However when I got to Grey's corner at 11:10 am I was told that no one there could rent me the truck and that the person that rents the trucks would not be in till somewhere between 12:00 and 12:30 ??? Now I have a problem as I needed to have the items I was moving to another location by 1:00 PM. So I called Main Street Storage to inform them of my dilemma ... BAM ! Deborah and Isabel to the rescue ! They told me to come back and they would take care of me with a larger truck at the same price ! Great Customer Service ! Thank You Both ! (BTW Grey's Corner is NOT recommended)

If you fall on hard times they will auction your unit. No matter your situation so make sure you can pay every month or you will lose everything. There's no grace period and no empathy. I lost my car home and job and my unit was sold. So I lost all my children items. I would recommend trying another place first.

The Uhaul app did not allow me to pick up the truck after hours nor could I complete the drop off with the app. Poorly designed all previous data lost if back arrow is used to correct. VERY frustrating.

Very Friendly associates, Very convenient. Will continue to use uhaul in the future, as I have for many years. Only problem I had was the mileage. I have never been charged in the past for mileage. My experience has always been unlimited miles. So it was a bit more expensive then I expected.

The Berlin location was excellent. It was not my first choice. I originally wanted a pick up in Parksburg PA. Due to no truck available after a weeks reservation, I was forced to find a truck somewhere. Berlin came thru as did Kirstine from Easton MD U-Haul main office.

This particular truck was in need of maintenance. This was made KNOWN to me before I took it out, as I was there when it was returned by the last customer and he reported it to the team. The team at the location offered to find me a replacement if I wasn't comfortable taking it. As it turned out, it worked out fine. They were very helpful.

Originally requested a 10' at Montego Bay, got told that reservation moved to Friendship but they had no clue as to what was going on, couldn't do anything to fix the reservation so I went to this one on main street and they were more than accommodating, Carolyn and her manager went above an beyond to get everything right and after getting shuffled around and then blown off by Friendship I don't see us renting a truck from anyone else than Main Street again. Thank You Main Street!

Access hours were great (24-hour access) but the office hours were just until 3:30 PM on weekdays. I couldn't stop by the office to check out after work. I wish I got refunded for the rest of the month that I didn't use.

We had this storage unit for approximately 9 months. We never had a problem. There was one time that we didn't lock it properly and they promptly called us to let us know. We are very satisfied with this facility.

I really think that the fees are not fair to the consumer. I know that the truck was swept out because I saw someone that was helping me move do it. I was charged a cleaning fee. I dropped off after hours so could not get the truck inspected upon return. The fuel fee charged was ridiclous as I drove the truck 30 mmiles in total and was charged far more than expected for the gallon or two of gas used. Lesson learned not to use this location again. I have used U-Haul on many occasions at different locations and never felt ripped off before.

Service at the location was very good and professional, and the equipment as advertised. That said,, the uhaul app did not work to let me upload a photo of mileage/gas. It was very frustrating and not resolved, plus a 60 minute wait to get assistance. So the local center was good, the national presence not.

I thought the rates were reasonable and the staff extremely courteous and professional. The locker, unit 204 appeared clean when we dropped off our property. Howevver, two months later, we returned and found the locker infested with stinkbugs. We had to throw a good deal of belongings away. I know the bugs did not come in with us, because the property came from within our old house. I suggest you inspect other units as well.

We had a wonderful experience with the staff, the ease of moving things in and out, the cleanliness and location. The overall experience was wonderful and The staff was amazing. This being said, I would not rent here again because all of my stuff was ruined due to flooding. I am not sure at what point it happened during our stay, but when we went to move out, our mattresses and picture frames and anything in the ground had been water stained as if it had flooded. Nothing was usable. If you rent here or anywhere, buy the insurance. I didn't expect this with a temperature indoor unit. The facility said they are not responsible for loss or damage.

It was great, convenient and affordable, until the mouse problem began. Some of my stuff was ruined because of mouse poop and had to be thrown away. That was the reason I moved out.

The unit was poorly lit and the door too small. At the end of a long narrow corridor causing poor and inconvenient access. Poor design causing the unit to be overpriced. Will not recommend.
