I booked the uhaul for two days, though I only had it about 26 hours before returning it to the facility. I expected to be charged for the two full days I had booked it, however, when I looked at my bill for some reason I was charged for 3 days of use.

WILLIAM FWhile I would rent from here again. The condition of the vehicles is not ideal. The mechanical issue I encountered resulted in needing to keep the truck an extra night and a significant delay in the moving process.

Sean BI arrived at the time of my reservation for 11:00 a.m. another customer was being helped and there were technical problems with their reservation. Several phone calls occurred and after almost a half hour it was my turn. The man working at the location asked me to give him a different name and a different phone number because the computer needed different information. I had to provide two different names and two different phone numbers and finally the computer"accepted the info". Finally about 12:15 I was able to begin my move. This was distressing as during the reservation I was told I had a 6-hour window to complete the move.

Jennifer WUnfortunately the previous renter did damage to the vehicle that was witnessed by myself and two service station employees they were very kind and helpful. The key lock was difficult to open on the lockbox.

Adam RDon't expect people to complete the transaction on a phone. I tried for 25 minutes and it never finished. The clerk did it in 15 minutes and should have from the beginning. The phone form was difficult and not easy to follow
David IIt was unstaffed when there should have been staff there (according to customer service). The key drop off box did not match the photo on the app. In fact there was no drop box at all. You had to drop the key in a door mail slot to a building that was a separate business and looked fully unaffiliated with Uhaul. We had to call customer service to figure where to leave it. The parking lot had vehicles with bullet holes in them. It was a scary place.
Polly pThe sign on the door (small piece of cardboard with "open at 9 am" in sharpie) said the office opened at 9. I waited until 930 and still no one showed up. The inside looked completely disorganized and cluttered. No one answered the phone when we called a little after 9am. Luckily we found the key drop slot in the door and we're keeping our fingers crossed that the return process goes through online. Definitely would not recommend. If you need to drop off equipment in the area, I would recommend either Granite State Automotive or the Uhaul in Newport NH.
jennifer yRoger from main way auto in Claremont NH. Charged my card for someone else's use. They charged us $350. Because it came back as. 200+ miles So to the next customer. I recommend not going to mainway. They will use your card for someone else's rental they drive for free and u will pay for it.
robert mEverything was just fine. Easy to find key drop off and a large enough lot to be able to safely park the truck without having to worry to much about other vehicles, definitely a huge plus if the person driving the truck is not too seasoned driving larger vehicles.
ANTHONY DNo lights on the parking lot, the handle that rolled the window up and down fell off the first day so I had to open my door at tolls. And once loaded, the front wheels off the truck leaned in at an alarming angle. Just happy the truck made it.

Michel GIt's not the location that sucks it's that you took a 200 dollar supposed deposit and I was also charged 58 dollars by the garage so $258 total to rent a truck from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm an filled the gas tank which cost me another $60 dollars because I thought I was supposed to ? I need some money back asap
Michael PRoger was friendly and helpful. There was a line when I went to return the vehicle and Roger noted that I was waiting and asked if I would just like a call with the final cost. I agreed immediately and went on my way happy. He followed up with the invoice the next day. A very good experience overall.
Andrew JIn addition to the extraordinarily poor service at the drop off, there is an unexplained uHaul charge to my account for $83. I would like an explanation of refund.

MATTHEW PRoger is fantastic. Makes sure you're comfortable and that the side mirrors are adjusted for you before you drive off. The trucks are old (and 14' instead of true 15' - the main part of the bed is just shy of 12' long), but they are well-maintained and work great. Have used twice and will again.
Deane SPicking up the vehicle with a mobile device sounds like a convenient option. I needed the van for a while and wanted to make sure I had enough time, especially since most places in my area are closed on the weekend. I reserved for one location, and when I arrived, I couldn't get to the pick up section online. When you reserve, the site doesn't say you have to download the app. But when you pick it up, that's really the only way to do it, which is a little more than 'have a mobile phone'. When I finally got the app downloaded in a low cell service area, it said I was in the wrong location. My reservation changed from 958 John Stark Highway in Newport, NH, to 235 Washington Street in Claremont, NH. Thankfully they're only five miles apart, but after 20 minutes struggling with the online access, I was running short on time and patience. I went to the second site and started the pick up process. Loading my information into the app took forever. This app is SLOW. The vehicle itself was great. Clean, roomy, etc. When I returned it, I ran into similar app issues. The app wouldn't bring up my location. I was sitting there for over 30 minutes waiting and the location was supposed to be closed. Luckily for me, there was an older gentleman there puttering around, and he took the keys, said don't worry, everything will be fine, you're all set. He was lovely. I don't know what I would have done if he hadn't been there. If you're going to market this as an easy way to pick up and drop off the vehicle, make sure the app works. It's horrible.

dana FThe drop off process was much easier! We needed the truck for an extra day or so and he was very helpful to switch the reservation. He was very apologetic for the experience at the other place even though it didn't involve him. We will be going back to them for work on our personal vehicles. Both gentlemen were very helpful and nice to talk to.
Alyson CMake ur online rental more user friendly and not require 2 or 3 phone numbers also explain why user need more information for online rental after you put in driver license bc ur on site to get uhaul and it ask for passport Home lease agreement Employer that uhaul can contact right then Or whatever the 4th thing was It's unreasonable to expect some to have or want to give that information out just to rent a truck for 10 hours that u have to pay almost a dollar a mile for plus rental fee

shawn cU-Haul was nice and clean. Ran great. However, when picking it up I was given the wrong key to a different U-Haul. Did not notice this until a little ways down the road. Had to turn back to get correct key and U-Haul.
Matthew BRoger was an awesome help with everything, but the physical location leaves a lot to be desired.
