Was charged fuel fee and additional fuel when I returned the truck with the same exact amount it was taken withâ€" 1/4 a tank. They said it only had an 1/8 a tankâ€" whoever checked it obviously did so lazily and it cost me an additional almost 60$. Unacceptable.Jeff R.

check the truck to make sure it is suitable for driving. the truck cab would shake violently at 60mph . Also the alignment was completely off. I had a 15hr road trip to make and this truck was horrible.Chris G.

Went inside the store to pick up key after checking in via app. Associate advised â€œyou don't have a reservation, you need to call U Haulâ€. After I explained to him that I have a reservation and showed him the reservation #, he still was confused as to what needs to happen next. And after he realized that I already checked in via app and only need to pick up the keys, he ended up handing me the wrong key. About 25 minutes we're wasted in this process due to his inability to understand what needs to be do. Total disappointment.Mohamed R.

This was a locked down convenience store in the worst part of Jacksonville. My (local) cab driver called it "ghetto" with everything from muggings to murders. You could not even go inside. Again, identify "safe" locations for solo renters (I dropped off the truck then took a cab, THANK GOD one was on-site before I was mugged-or worse). The man inside the store took my key and did not even give a receipt, saying I'd get an email. Which I didn't get until the next day, AFTER calling UHaul about my concerns. I know you're trying to make things easier for renters to pick up and drop off, but seriously- a laundromat where the female emoyees have NO CLUE about equipment they're renting, a dangerous part of town that isn't even safe for local residents, a storage facility that doesn't have the same hours as UHaul is guaranteeing..... You can do better. And if you expect people like me to continue renting with your company, you're going to have to.KATHERINE T.

The uhaul was FILTHY and was also left on e I had to put gas in it to even drive it!NIKERIYA T.
On the other day I looked at my bank statement and it showed that they was drawing out $91.?? And then my daughter called me on the next day and say they was charging my card $3??.??, I go on there and I see $231.??. What the hell is going on. I sweep that truck, put the gas above where it was when we had gotten it, and I return it before the time, so why so damn much. This is a rip offCharlettia W.

This is the SCARIEST place I have ever been to rent from uhaul . Not a safe place to be. Trailer was full of trash and someone has been sleeping in it and it smelled of urine. I drove past several other uhaul locations to get to this one that had several homeless people watching me return the truck. I was also charged additional to drive more miles past other spots. I shouldn't be charged to handle U-Haul's logistics.Nicholas O.
Shady, dropped off. Gas tank full, no problem. Get phone call 2 wks later from my credit card company. Someone From that store tried to charge the credit card that I had used to reserve it $767. Regional manager advised it was an honest mistake and had never happened before. Based on the reviews here and in Google It most definitely has. DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION.LISA T.

I've used this location 3 times and every tome there was an issue. The owner/who ever rents the out the U-Haul is never there. When the time comes for pick up it takes them at least 2 hours before they respond for you to get the U-Haul. Now the last time that I rented from them they gave me a U-Haul on E and I brought it back on E now they're saying I owe $28 for gas and I never signed anything stating how much gas is in there. I am very dissatisfied and I will not be using this location again and I would not recommend this location to anyone.MICHELLE J.

This was the worst experience ever they lied to me saying i was going to pay a flat fee of 79,8 they end up charging me 179.30. I was advised that they didn't charge for the mileage. I was told to come and get it from the Norwood location and drop it off there turns around I had to go on moncrief to a store where you have to stand outside to do business. The only reason I came here is because they have 24/7 uhaul rentals. The customer service is good but the man was not there when I got there and I had to come back. The area is so bad at night and it was so many people scraggling around the store it was a bit uncomfortable but the process was quick and easy.Tammi D.
It was very difficult to even locate the door to get inside and start the rental process. Had to be let in by a delivery guy that happened to be there at the same time. Additional information before hand would have been helpful.Daniel H.
Train the store attendee to handle the uhaul trucks, having to wait while he gets in contact with the person who handles your vital information and sending pictures of your id over their cell phones is extremely uncomfortable. The location was in an extremely dangerous area; was verbally accosted before even reaching the building from the car. It is a large convenience store that literally doesn't even have a door--only glass to conduct business; had to be let in via a back room. THAT is how unsafe the area is. My original reservation was for a downtown Jacksonville location--how UHaul can send anyone where I had to pick up the truck and trailer is beyond me. Staff unfamiliar with the U-Haul computer system--took multiple tries to put my information in. There was a marijuana "blunt" in the ashtray of the truck, had to connect the trailer to the truck myself and the first trailer was BROKEN, and none of the reserved extras were present (furniture blankets, dolly). Cannot make this s$%t up. Horrible.Michael S.
I ordered a large dolly for moving appliances and it was not there. I had to find another U-Haul location who I made my original reservation location with purpose and was sent to a location I would not have picked. The truck was dirty and smelled awful.Helen S.

If a customer makes a reservation, keep it. Don't call the customer the day before he needs it and tell him, 'sorry, we don't have the equipment you reserved a month ago'....hugo M.
Customer service was excellent... The only improvement that could be made is faster return on your deposit monies when you pay with your credit or debit card... It should not take 72 hours to get it returned when it only took moments for you to get it.SHIELA D.

So we pull up to M&A Food Mart and were greeted by a gentleman drinking a Crazy Stallion malt liquor in a paper bag. He presents himself as an employee of Pipeline and directs me to the attendant behind the window. The attendant takes my information to verify the reservation and directs the gentleman with the malt liquor that everything was OK. The attendant said "if you like you can tip them." Assuming that these two guys were employees and legit, I let them hook the trailer to my SUV. Assuming they knew what they were doing, because they were presented as employees I didn't check that they attached the trailer correctly. It wasn't. Shortly after we left M&A Food Mart, we rolled over the railroad tracks and the trailer detached from the SUV. Thankfully the safety chains caught it. -- They didn't tighten the knob on the trailer neck -- They didn't install the safety chains correctly so rather than the trailer being cradled in the chains, it dropped to the ground and we drug it until we could come to a complete stop. There was no damage to the SUV or the trailer, thankfully we were on a secondary road only traveling at 25mph or so. If that had happened on a highway, the outcome could have been so much different. You need to get this location under control before they hurt or seriously injure someone.Anthony B.

The staff was very unprofessional and was not inviting. They did not have a clear location to drop the trailor, nor did I receive my $60 refund. It was not until I checked my email when I realized your agent emailed my receipt showing they refunded $17. I called and informed your agent that I was not refunded the amount the receipt listed. The next day I picked up my refund and ask the agent why did they lie and say I was reimbursed $17, the representative yelled and said they did not lie and he would not put up with my yelling and I could contact Uhaul for my refund. I informed him that I was not yelling and he was informed by one of his collegues to calm down and reimburse my funds. This agent was certainly not a representation of your organization and should be addressed on how to conduct themselves in a professional manner.Latrice M.
