Not happy that I had to drive to another state to pickup a trailer larger than I needed after having a reservation in for 6 weeks. Expected to pick up trailer in Sioux Falls not Minnesota

Took an hour to check in. I signed up to use my phone for pickup and they don't offer that. Why have it as an option?? So irritating.

I prefer this location over any other. The staff is so friendly and attentive, never had an issue with trailers.

My complaint is that my pickup and drop off location were each changed 3 times. I did not pick up or drop off at the locations that I had selected that were best for me - this made my rental experience much less convenient for me.

First, the guy at Manley tire was rude. Next, they told me the truck was ready, I drove the truck form Manley to Sioux Falls and did not know Manley failed to close the hood of the truck! How poor is that? Seriously! Then the front tire ball bearings were shot. And this truck came from a tire store? The tire looked like it wanted to fall off by the time I got it stopped! There is no concern for the safety of the driver, I was told by the tow truck driver I was lucky I didn't crash. And I might add this all happened going accross the Missouri River. It seems U Haul was deliberately trying to cause me harm. And now I get a bill for gas? This truck was not even drivable and had to be towed! I sat for over 2 hours waitng for U Haul to it together, during which time the blizzard that hit SD started leaving me in even more danger. Seriously, if you value your life, never get a U Haul!

I had an excellent drop off experience. The gentleman at the counter guided me back with the trailer and unhitched it for me. He looked it over and I was very quickly on my way.

I returned the equipment the next evening, within the 48 hours allotted. Two days later, I received an email, followed by a phone call stating the equipment had not been returned. The drop off location was supposed to be a 24/7 drop-off location. I parked the equipment inside their fence, as I had done once before when I returned equipment to that location. At this moment, I don't know if they have located the equipment or if U-haul is preparing a bill to make me pay for the trailer. They have not replied to my request for an update.

The hitch system on that trailer is junk. The locking system is not working properly. It wouldn't lock, had to stick a rock under it to lock adjustment knob. That particular trailer worked itself loose and came unhooked going down the road on the interstate. Luckily it stayed upright and didn't hurt anyone or myself

So when I chose this location, the website said Valley Springs, SD. I couldn't find it. Even my printout said SD. Come to find out is was Vally Springs, MN. Big difference!! This could be part of the reason I was over on miles!!!

I made a reservation on line, you had my credit card and driver's license and still embarrassed your U Haul agents by making them call two contacts to ask if I was a real person and was not going to steal the trailer. I was embarrassed and felt sorry for your staff having to call like that.

Service man had no idea what he was doing, I was given incorrect information regarding my reservation from store in Sioux Falls as well. I left without any information or instruction pertinent to returning the vehicle. Very awful experience over three days. I will not use this company again nor will I recommend it to anyone.

Had a problem with check in and still getting calls that the trailer was not returned. And it was returned on Sunday with the security tape showing this.

Again on the conformation sheet I was to take it to Brandon. Got a call about when I was going to leave to take it to Brandon to tell me I had to take it to Sioux Falls. Maybe you need to look at updating your web site more then once a year!!!

Ensure the truck is in proper running condition, including but not limited to proper treadding on tires, gas gauges properly marked and trucks in proper running order .

We were to pick up a trailer at Safeship 2821 E 10th St. Sioux Falls, SD 57103 but place was locked up after we had called at 830 am to make sure they had a trailer. Hours were 830-12 on Saturday but no one around when we got there and no way to leave a message on phone. Loved the Manley Tire Service center.. They were super helpful to get a trailer that was tail light compatible with our GL Mercedes. Will only rent from Manley again!

Hard to find. It was listed in Valley Springs, SD, but it was actually in Manley, Minnesota where I found it..

It took us over an hour to check out the truck that we had reserved. Also-they had no furniture pads on hand so we had to get them at another Haul location.
