The use of the app to pick up the truck was an absolute disaster and caused me to miss my son’s championship football game. It took almost an hour between trying to trouble shoot the app and calling and being put on hold forever because of “high call volume”. Overall incredibly disappointed and frustrated with my experience.

I rented a U-Haul and I was expecting to have it for 24 hours upon renting it and starting The project I needed it for I received a text message to tell me to do back in six hours from the minute I rented it. Therefore I did not complete what I need to do. I will be calling customer service as well as writing other poor reviews on various platforms.

Although we had quite the experience; a missing truck, flat tire and rim and nearly a day delay, I will say it was still a positive experience. The situation was really out of everyone’s control (it was the fault of the previous driver/renter) I feel like Uhaul really dealt with it well. They kept us in the loop with the situation the whole time and even though the delay really was a major inconvenience, I felt like they were very apologetic and understanding.

Inform the customer by phone call of any changes, inform the customer of availability of a bigger truck in another town with the miles comped. I would’ve done this if I knew this was available to me. I needed a 17-20 footer and had to do 2 trips with a 15 footer.

Computer system needs to be updated for the computer challenged employees. Also, not everyone has a smart phone to upload your license photo. Other then that the employees really tried hard and were friendly.

Speed up the rental process. I think the staff needs to be trained on using the computer system. I needed a rental last minute and did not have time to go online and book it myself.

That’s my local hardware store. Good guys. No issues there.

The vehicle ran terrible with loud clicking noise. The sound was so loud, I couldn’t even speak to my passenger. Being I needed a vehicle, I utilized what was given to me. I had used Hertz in the pst numerous times without a similar situation occurring. In the future for safety reasons, I believe the vehicles should be tested prior to rentals!

I rented online one week prior selecting Manorville. Reservation came back Mastic. I called and got a BS story why it was changed.l went to my local True Value and they had plenty of of the truck I needed and was able to set it up. It seems to me someone knows someone to redirect rentals. Please correct this. This is not the perception U Haul would approve off. Thank you, Andy

Truck was dirty smelled like cigarettes. For the money these trucks should be spotless.
