I had a huge cigar butt with ashes all over the floor of the truck bed. I also reserved a 20 foot truck and was "upgraded" to a 26 foot truck. Thanks but no thanks. The upgrade cost me more gas money and the stress of driving a bigger truck than I wanted or needed.

The attendant was not knowlagable nor helpful when it came to hooking up the trailer. Also the tongue read that it could accomadate ball sizes down to 1 7/8 but it did not feel super secure with that size.

The van was very nice and well set up , the loading ramp was very handy ! Also , the service was friendly and efficient . This was my first experience using a U-haul rental and would not hesitate to use your service again in the future , and would definitely recommend you to a friend . Thank you for the great product , and service !

Our original location was changed on us after we specially reserved the truck in Hardcwick a month in advance. Your company is probably the worst I have ever dealt with. I will never use this company again and will most definitely tell everyone I know not to use your services. The local dealers were more the gracious and helpful trying to make up for uhaul's incompetence. When we called the dispatch locations we encountered extremely rude and impersonal customer service people. Who had no intention of actually helping us. Your policies are ridiculous and self serving with no regard for customer service. EVEN THIS SURVEY IS SELF SERVING AND DOES NOT PORTRAY THE ACTUAL UHAUL EXPERIENCE.

Your scheduling department needs to make people aware of changing their pickup location. I drove an extra 50 miles and wasted an hour of my time. I selected a location when I reserved the trailer. I check in on line ahead of time to save time. I drove to the location I reserved at to be told I had to drive back to where I came from to pickup at a different location.

I picked up the trailer at 5:00. The female lerk was very helpful but there was no staff to help mount the trailer. One brake light did not work. I observed a flat tire the following morning. The pickup location refused to change the tire; I was forced to use roadside service which delayed my trip one hour.

The person who handled my rental pick-up on 11/28/12 was unfamiliar with the process and very confused generally. She had to re-enter data repeatedly and did not know how to identify the assigned drop-off location. The interaction consumed about an hour. Although I was very patient with the young lady and did not complain to her about the experience, she apologized repeatedly about her handling of the interaction.

Gas near empty when paperwork said 3/8 tank full. Ask them if would fill to 3/8 and they said no. Truck had a bald tire on it also. Said I picked up truck at 2pm when in fact that was when I arrived; I did not leave till after 2:30pm due to multiple issues including slow check-in, having to buy gas at their location since truck was empty, etc.

The service station where i rented the truck from was fine but my overall experience with Uhaul has been awful and will never rent from you again. I have had multiple issues with my reservation and was double billed. The manager Ryan is impossible to get in contact with and i have been waiting for a call back for 3 days now. Each time i have called i get transferred around and no one can help me except Ryan who is always unavailable. Extremely unsatisfied!

It would be nice if this location had either the 24' or 26' trucks. We had to make additional trips because we were slightly over capacity.

We had reserved a 10ft truck. However what we were given was a 16ft truck. It was much too big for our needs, so while the rental was the same cost we likely used more gas than we would have done had the correct truck been supplied.

The boss didn't let the guy who was working even know that I was coming. I was told to show up between 6:30 and 7 and I showed up at 6:50 and the guy had already locked the front door and was leaving. He was very friendly(it wasn't his fault no one told him I was coming) and opened back up and the guy who rented it for the day didn't show back up until after 7 so I almost ended up without a trailer to move.

I had to return my trailer after I got it home because it smelled like gasoline... They clearly did not inspect the trailer before issuing it to me. Additionally, after I returned the trailer they did not update the new trailer number in the system so it caused us some mild difficulty when we turned it in. This; however, was not the real issue. Our real issue is with UHaul corporate... My father went in for triple bypass surgery today and I had to turn in my UHaul before I got to final destination. I only used a fraction (one third) of the time and distance and still had to pay full price. Considering the circumstances I believe that UHaul should have discounted the fees. This was a terrible experience and I will never use UHaul again and will spread the word amongst my co-workers in the US Army how we were treated even with a significant family issue. Please contact me if you want further clarification on this matter.

I really only needed a cargo van, but would have had to drive 1 hour out of my way to get it so I had to take the 10 foot truck instead which doubled the per mile price I had to pay. More availability would be great.

I agraded on the sterner side. The agent here is less friendly on first impression... but better as you get to know him. The place is ok. I might recommend it... especially if I got to know him just a little better.

The pick up location was fine.. The phone call from U Haul saying that I had to pick the trailer up elsewhere was not OK!!!!!!!!!!!!! This caused a 45 min delay in getting things changed back to the original location.

The U Haul we rented leaked and ruined our box spring, mattress, and futon. This could have been prevented with regular maintenance or inspections. I was VERY disappointed with the quality of the product that I rented. I have never had this problem with an U Haul rental before. I am hoping that the insurance that I paid for will cover the cost of all the extra expenses that I incurred because of this disaster. How this experience is handled will affect whether or not I use your service in the future.

Despite Receiving commitment for a 10. Ft truck there was none. Shawn let me have the 20 ft for 1.5 hr so I could finish moving. The 17 ft truck the weekend before I'd reserved ended up being a 14 ft. Uhaul's systems logistic system needs enhancement.

I picked up my truck in Waterbury Vermont at Bob's Service Station. The person I was dealing with all morning was Shaun. Shaun was the WORST person I've ever had to deal with in my life. I work in the customer service industry and this man has NO customer service skills what so ever...he was MISERABLE. Not only did he make me cry more than once but he was just overall a mean person. He hung up on me via phone twice when I was trying to ask questions and plan a pick up time for the truck. I was told via text that I could pick up my truck after 9am and Shaun called to tell me that he wasn't even sure if the truck I was renting was going to be returned that day. When I told him I had a conformation number he responded with "well that's not my problem". After all of that he told me that the credit card that I was going to use for the truck was just going to be used for authorization and not charged until time of drop off. I took his word for that which unfortunately was wrong. When I dropped off the truck I wanted to pay with a different card and was told that I couldn't because it had already been charged. I understand the process but I would have liked to have been told that in the beginning. Unfortunately, due to how horrible Shaun was I will never rent from UHaul again. I know that he is just a service rep, but he has given your company a horrible image that I can't work with.

Staff very helpful and accommodating for my move. Difficulty getting to equipment initially because of crowded yard (may be due to so many closed locations nearby from flooding). Overall, helpful staff and good service trumps any small challenges along the way.

This had nothing to do with Bob's. This was Central command. I tried to pick up the truck @10:00 am did not get returned until 1:30, now 3.5 hours behingd schedule. Filthy, Had booked 4 weeks prior, upgraded to a 17 footer, not interested.

Computer issue and confusion for the employee at this location. Also, the receipt said the gas tank was full but it was less than half full - the employee didn't offer to fill it, instead he adjusted the paperwork by hand writting notes that wasted my time and the time of your employees at the drop off location!
