Overall the truck was fine. My problem I have when I picked up the truck the contract said the truck had a 1/4 tank, which it did not. My fault, did not think a reading that is a little off would matter. Went 8 yes 8 miles, did not leave it idling and all good road condition and only filled the truck maybe 25 % capacity. Bring it back in 12,57 $ in gas or approximately 3 gallons. Then the attendant says I have to put more in. I tell her I put in 3 gallons and show her the receipt . I ask her what laundry of mileage does three truck get she responded 8-10 MPG. I say I put in 3 gallons that covers at least 24 miles. The attendant says does not matter and I have to put in additional gas . So either Marion Ave Mobil is over reporting the gas or u-haul monitoring systems suck. What is it? Again my fault . Will not let that happen again and will not go to Marion Ave Mobil .Timothy P.

Make a more convenient place to pick up truck. Not making person pay milage for something that is not their control. For example I have to drive 10 miles to pick up truck 10 miles back and when done drive 10 miles back to this location. That is an extra 13 on my bill. I rent often so for me over time it adds up.i run a small business and understand how to make money. But there has to be away to help out continuing customer.JANROBERT K.

Truck ramp does not functional, the Truck ran well. The truck was clean. Kinda weird that the signage was left in the truck. Also, the attached two-wheel cart gets in the way of loading.ANTHONYV L.

It was a cold morning but the staff had the truck warmed up and ready to go. They were prompt and courteous. The floor of the truck was dirty and the lift gate was very difficult to raise and lower. Rusty? Off track? Either way not great equipmentCHARLESE P.

I rented a truck with a 19,95 $ per day sign in the front window. I had the truck for less than 6 hours. I drove it a total of 5 miles, from the time of pick up to the time I returned. I was charged the 0,99 cents per mile which equated to a small charge of 4,95 $. I then was charged 15,00 $ for 3 gallons of gasoline which I did not use. And 29,95 $ for the truck not 19,95 $. All said and done, 59,00 $ for 6 hours and 5 miles. Not happy.STEPHEN P.

I returned my truck and put gas in it.When I checked my email receipt the next day I was also charged a gas fee. When I called to ask about the charge the clerk informed me if the computer determines it is not at the same level it is an automatic charge. I did put enough gas in to bring it back to the same level. My suggestion is to have the clerk check the truck and gas level in front of the customer when the truck is returned.John F.

Marion Ave Mobil is a GREAT location, very helpful. Truck was clean, but... The truck was in poor shape. The rear door was very hard to open and wouldn't close completely without my full 200lbs standing on the handle (I've rented multiple trucks, and know how the door is supposed to operate). There is an exhaust leak at the headers, making a very loud racket from 1 cylinder. The Driver's door will not easily shut completely, causing wind noise and a cold draft. My wife would push from the outside while I pulled to get it shut.DANIEL P.

The fuel level was not noted at my arrival. It was not accurate. I fueled up, but it was not adequate per the website. I did not have time to jack with it, so I wound up paying 19 $for a fuel charge. Not cool!!Erik I.

The attendant refused to add fuel to the vehicle and forced me to add my own fuel to start the rental at less than 1/4 full. When I asked if I would be reimbursed for any fuel added that exceeded the amount originally in the tank, she said "no." This was INSANE ... she should have filled the tank (at least more than less than 1/4 full) and set that as my check-out fuel amount.Mitchell C.

Make sure that the equipment ordered is on the truck and the truck safety equipment ie driver seat belt is operational.JULIANECLAIRE P.
At the first stop we load the truck, when we went to leave the truck would not start. 60 minute wait on the phone with customer service, so went on line. About 20 min they said help would arrive in 60 to 90 min with a battery for the truck. Company who was hired for service called us & said they were 30 minutes away but had no battery, no jumper cables & no tool. Why come if you can't help us! We found a maintenance person at the facility and he was kind enough to jump the truck. We did shut off 1 other time again & it would not start, so jumped a 2nd time. We had to leave the truck running the rest of rest of the day. We wasted at least good hour and 1/2 with vehicle issues, if not longer.. The pickup truck had rear bumper damage so significant that I couldn't open the tailgate. When I went inside to tell the attendant that the vehicle was damaged she replied â€œI know, no worries, it's been like that for a couple of months.â€ I would expect more from any vehicle rental location.Magno A.

Nothing. Car carrier was waiting for me as promised. Easy peasy. Fair price. Suggestion for re-design of car trailer in the future. Wider ramps. It took a half hour in the parking lot to get through the phone check in pickup. Renting a full moving box truck was less work than that when we moved last year. The process for your single pickup truck with ridiculous and it was filthy. Absolutely disgusting. Smelled like smoke and was so dusty I couldn't stop sneezing. I paid 50 $for THAT!? Hell no. I'll take my chances strapping furniture to the roof of my car next time.Kortney K.

The process was simple and clear, but it seems that the prior renter left items in the vehicle and it was very dirty, so I'm not sure if there is a human reviewer at the location between rentals, but that may be helpful. However, overall the van ran well and was very well labeled to ensure we could operate it efficiently.Michael H.
