It was not during normal office hours. There were no places to park the truck so I felt terrible for leaving it in front of a bay of the tow shop attached to the uhaul office but didn't have a choice to park anywhere else.Josh W.

He was terribly unhelpful. And I dislike the way U-Haul makes the customer do everything, .e.check the e Hickey to make sure nothing is wrong, etc. the man that runs this facility never got out of his chair. I will do my best to rent from someone else next timeRENEE F.

They charged me for 200 miles when I only drove 15 miles. They also made me drive down to a mud pit 4 miles from their location to pick up the truck.HARRY T.

The body of the truck was reasonably clean, however the cab of the truck was dirty and smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Fortunately there was no actual trash in the truck. The location is a gasoline station and I will only recommend to folks renting from Oxford because it's the only game in town. They staff were not able to give me access to the U-Haul app to record the starting mileage and gasoline level. I was able to use a paper receipt.Sue P.
This was the second place I was rerouted to. The first location was 25 miles out of my way and was closed when I got there get their store hours showed open online. This should have been know ahead of time. So essentially drove 50 miles for no reason only to tow the trailer back passed where I was originally then over another 8 miles. Lost time and gas!Adrian Z.

I would encourage them to double check their odometers before renting to people. I was almost charged for 27 miles that I didn't put on my uHaul rental. They have great employees that were able to get it sorted out for me. Should also stress completing the mobile check out process before leaving.Genvieve M.
They went above and beyond. I accidentally left my purse in the truck and locked it. They came over 30 min to unlock the box so I could get the key out and get my purse.Suzy H.

I went to pick up the trailer and it was not there. They sent me to someone's grandmothers house several miles away to pick the trailer up. When I came back to return it, there was a sign there stating that if any uhaul product was left there, customers would have to pay a $50 service. So, I have to drive several miles to a different drop off location to leave the trailer. I had reserved this trailer online. They should have had it at their pickup location for me.David S.

Marquis Chevron in Oxford, MS could not have been more disappointing, disorganized and disingenuous to its customers if it tried. Picking up my ALREADY RESERVED moving truck was complete and utter chaos - a nightmare even. To have had an appointment set up well in advance, I couldn't have felt more neglected or irrelevant as a customer. Having worked in the retail/customer service space for 15+ years, I truly have a hard time critiquing anyone who may be having an off day in this industry- it's hard to be â€œonâ€ everyday of the week- but this service was simply inexcusable. UHaul deserves to be aware or the poor, inept and neglectful managment occurring at this location. If I can help it, I'll never rent a UHaul from marquis chevron in Oxford ever again. Not only does the personnel suck to the highest degree, but the location is disgusting and smells like musty carpet, wet dogs, and an old man fart. Sorry. I know this is a blunt review, but if I were on the corporate/marketing/customer service side of UHaul, I'd want to know this was happening at our locations. Facility old and worn down. Process is chaotic. They didn't know which trucks were checked in or not. I was actually given a truck that didn't exist so it delayed my check in by 30 minutes.Thomas R.

When I got to the designated drop-off location there was a sign indicating that one-way rentals were to be returned to a different location 5 miles away. So we had to drive the extra distance and then return to turn in the key. I would have appreciated advance notice that the return location was not the one indicated on my agreement.Christy W.

These people have no idea how to run a business. They act as if you are bothering them. I was there for an hour getting the van and took 30-45 to return. The lockbox were all open with no keys in them. The lady working, was already off and keep trying not to help people. When returning there were 4-5 guys but didn't want to stop their personal conversations to help anyone, besides there is no room to park the vehicles Would never rent from this location again.DONNA S.

We were not given dolly's at all when we paid for them, and when we arrived to our drop off location, we were told we had to drop off our truck elsewhere due to limited space when we had already completed the check in for 24/7 mobile drop off. We were told we had to do it so we did, but it was very unprofessional.Marissa C.

It was a fly by night operation. It seams they want you to do everything. Check in check out. I tried 3 times to check out unsuccessfully. The Vehicle was clean but ran really rough. It had 159 000 miles on it and I think should be taken off the road. MerciKevin K.

Very nice people. I had a problem having to move and had only hours to get it done. Trucks were in very short supply. They went up and beyond to help me through a difficult situation. I had to work through the night to move everything. I returned the trunk so it could be used in a reserved reservation. They took into consideration my long history as a U Haul customer when I asked for a short in town use. Thanks so much I could not have done it would out your help.Doug M.

I rented a 40$ truck for 24 hours. A few days after I returned it I get an invoice saying I owe another 63$ with no explaination. Tried calling the company no answer at first then someone picks up puts me on hold for about five min then just hangs up the phone all while I could hear peoples conversations.Torie F.

The physical environment is jam packed with cars and customers. One particular older male staff member is very rude. They do not greet you at the door or explain things to first timers. Most of the staff was trying their best but there's one guy who hate his job and it shows. He hangs up on you or Leaves you on hold for very long. You ask him and question and he either doesn't respond or responds short and rudely. I've dealt with this man four times on 2 moves throughout my experience with uhaul, when I moved in & out. Uhaul has everything set up online. They need to express to customers to load their information before they arrive to the pick up location. My smartphone signal was jammed at the pick up location and it took twice as long to get our rental and leave. No wifi was available.Amber B.

I had to wait an hour for keys to be delivered. I was not compensated for the wait or delay in my rental time. It took me 30 minutes to check in and search for the keys before hanging up with uhaul customer service and Calling the location owner. Given the 30 minute delay of my calling him , I was told by him that I wouldn't be compensated because I was already late.Kayla B.
