OLGAL R.Clean the truck. The truck seemed to be used for Junk/Debris removal prior to me getting the truck. Also the cab stunk of cigarette smoke, I don't smoke cigarettes at all so to drive 1400 miles in a filthy smelly truck was discomforting, but I had a timeline to keep so I did not request any equipment change.

ELVISJ A.They gave us a faulty truck. The truck went into service deterrent system for two hours and would not turn on. Basically the key became deprogrammed. It took roadside a long time to even support us and the people at Max Auto Tech really could not support. Additionally we got a tank that was led than half full and we're penalized because it was a little bit less than one fourth. After the horrible experience we had with the car we deserved a discount.
Graciela P.My experience at this location with the gentleman was good but the Uhaul he chose had major damage to the passenger side and once I got everything loaded in my Uhaul my vehicle wouldn't start so that was a very unpleasant experience being that fact I had to stand in the cold and repeatedly ask strangers for a jump start.

Craig V.Terrible customer service. Location poorly kept. You have to dodge mechanics and other workers while waiting for your paperwork and vehicle in an active driveway. Also apparently only SPANISH PEOPLE are immune to diseases etc. Was told to get out the office by the old Spanish lady in the office and speak from the other side of a MECHANICS GARAGE DRIVEWAY to discuss my rental concerns. While a some customer (spanish lady) was in the office and then some other random guy walked in off the street. Funny thing...IM VACCINATED!!! So being BLACK AND VACCINATED STILL AINT GOOD ENOUGH FOR THIS COUNTRY AND NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR THE PEOPLE WHO GET THE SAME CRAP TREATMENT AS US. OH YEAH.....(they charged me twice because I couldn't get the truck back in time during the hurricane...go figure) #BLACKLIVESMATTER #PREJUDICE #RACIST #NOBLACKSALLOWED #WORSETHANWHITEPEOPLE

AVISPATRICIA S.This location is difficult to get to, has no parking, had limited staff, and does not look exactly safe. Uhaul needs to ask different questions about the quality of their administration. I have never been so frustrated with a company in my life. My time with Uhaul has been horrible. I rented a truck in a different location in New Jersey 2 weeks in advance, the pick-up location was moved to the Bronx the day before my move, and the only compensation I was offered is $50. This is absolutely horrible! I had to cross the George Washington Bridge twice because of this experience, which exceeds the price of the reimbursement. Uhaul is a waste of time, offers little to no customer service, and has zero help with returning the truck. Don't even bother with these people.
KASSI B.Really terrible customer service. My reservation was set for 9am-1pm, but the UHaul system updated my reservation to 10am while I was standing in a line that took 30 minutes for me to be helped. Those of us in line were told after 10 minutes that we could do self check-in with our phones. This was not true, because after I downloaded the app and tried to pull up the self-check out tab, I couldn't find the location, and had to wait anyways. I believe all 4 of us in line had 9am or 9:30am reservations. They only had one person to check us out, and despite having set up my reservation online the evening before, the checkout process was about 10 minutes for me. The other folks were also about 10-15 minutes for check out. The woman drawing up our contracts couldn't hear people through the thick plexiglass set up for COVID safety measures. I recommend a microphone or some type of speaker be installed. We could not hear her either. Even though my pick up was 50 minutes past my original reservation, she insisted I had to bring the van back at 1pm. This was simply not possible because I I had timed my reservation for 4 hours. I brought the van back at 1:50pm, not 1pm like my original planned time because that's how long I needed the van. I was charged a $20 late fee. Nobody spoke to me about settling the final bill after I returned the van, so subsequently, I waited 10 minutes in line for nothing. She just told me it would be emailed it to me. If you can avoid using this location, that would be my recommendation.
