I called ahead to see what time they were open till that was told by the person on the phone that it was open till 8:30 we got there at 7:57 and the guy was heading over to his car an ass and told us we had to come back the next day to return the truck we said no we're here we're leaving the keys and we're leaving the truck the guy was very rude and it was an unpleasant experience on the that end of the rental

Peter BI over filled the gas tank by mistake. When checking back in the attendant told me they would give me a credit back for the extra gas - that did not happen, no credit was given. Otherwise, experience was easy with no issues.

Fraher K1. After Rental completion In Mileage 242 is correct but Out Milage 83 is wrong as U-Haul is used only for approximately 34 Miles so Out Mileage must be approximately 205+. I have called and informed the Maynard U Haul office to correct the same 2. I dropped vehicle at 7:55 PM but no body was there to receive it although closing time was 8 pm for the center 3. I used Vehicle for 3 hours from 5:12 PM to 8 PM and charges must be for 3 Hours but i have been charged for 1 day rental of 99$ which must be corrected. I have informed it to Maynard office even before getting final receipt but still wrongly charged

David FTruck was on 1/8 tank, location has tight parking almost none for personal vehicles even for drop off. Truck wasn't cleaned, had trash in cab, food remnants on floor. Cargo area wasn't swept and was twine still attached to rails. Not again from this location

Daehun JI wouldn't use Maynard location again. There is no parking on site and it wasn't fun trying to find parking for the length of time I was renting the U-Haul for. I would not recommend this location.
Jamie JOverall good experience. The only thing to improve is that the personnel should introduce themselves before assuming the client knows they work for U-haul. I was pumping gas to return the truck and a guy approached me and started a conversation... I felt uncomfortable as I had no idea why we was trying to know if the vehicle behind of the truck was with me. Later on I realized the guy was the personnel assigned to receive the truck.
FABIOLA PThe equipment was clean but the truck had some issues for being taken on a 1500 mile trip.

Enhua ZExtremely smooth and pleasant transaction made even better after I dropped the van off and proceeded to walk home. I was out of sight of the Rental facility and was about 200 yards away when I heard someone calling out. When I turned around, there was the UHaul clerk running up to me to hand me my phone, which I'd left in the van ! Amazing !

Marcie BI had an excellent experience at Maynard BP and would definitely use them again. The vehicle ran well and appeared to be a newer van. It even had a backup camera. We used the 9' van to move a sofa, a twin mattress and some other houshold items and everything fit very well. The attendant at the BP location was very attentive.
Scott SFor me, I would consider this location excellent because I was able to confidently attach the trailer myself. If I was a customer who did not know how to confidently attach a trailer, I would be unable to pick up the trailer. Overall, a very nice location for a self-sufficient customer. Excellent trailer with all lights operating and good tire tread.

John DThe mobiole app is a disappointment. It didn't work at all to pickup or return the vehicle and I had to rely on staff at the location who were overwhlemed with other customers. I had a credit from a prior rental and had a very difficult time using it. Although I applied it when I made the reservation online, it didn't show in the final reservation. I called and customer service said to show it to staff at the location (which was weird to me since I counted on not really having to interact with them). Staff at the location had no idea what to do with it when I picked up or returned the vehicle and was about to call customer service when I said I just wante to go - I had been waiting like 20 minutes to return the van already. As we finalized the bill, we saw the credit was actually there the whole time. I had tried to return the van using the app while I waited, but it just kept returning to take a picture of the odometer and gas gauge. Very frustrating. The van was in pretty good shape - a 2023 GMC Savannah. The left front bumper had an impact and was clearly moved, but there was nowhere to note that when I picked it up. Or was there? The staff at pickup just opened his pad when I arrived and presented me with a signature page in a couple of minutes. I had no idea what he had done to that point or what I was signing for, but I just needed to get the van and go. I was concerned that working with staff might have changed my rate or something, but it didn't. Still, not the best experience especially when UHauls sets such high expectations for the app. Seems like location operators pretty much ignore it.

Barbara Cmake it clear on the website how much more you are charging for a one-way (27 miles) rental than if I'd returned the truck to the same location. It cost me at least $40 more and I could have easily driven the truck back to the pickup location and paid for the extra 27 miles plus gas

Mark SIt took over five gallons to fill the tank at the end, which was certainly more gas than I used to drive 50 miles since the van said it was getting 17 mpg, so it seems that the previous user had not adequately filled the tank. You should be more careful when people fill the tank other than at your station.
