Denise McLaughlinNot customer oriented- i had to wait a long time to have my hitch/light equipment on my car checked (nearly an hour). first the receptionist (owner?) was on the phone with someone who called AFTER I arrived and was waiting for help. second, the first and second devices to check the lights (4-5 prong device on my car) were defective. It was stressful thinking that my equipment was not working. finally he found a tester that worked and all was fine. When i arrived asking for a free inspection, the "receptionist" said "why didn't you go to the main U-Haul location?" . I said i had to order it from this location.

Betty St Fleureverything was fine till the check engine light came on and truck lost some power. After parking and shutting it off, the truck ran a little better and I made it home.

sean DwyerThe windshield was FILTHY! It took several 20 minutes to remove the film of scum on the inside. Can someone PLEASE teach your staff the importance of having a crystal clear windshield. I mean, it's the ONE part of a vehicle that every driver uses 100 % of the time, every time they drive a vehicle. IT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF ANY RENTAL.

Christian Capellan perezThe parking lot was completely dark so I could not inspect the truck for damage when I picked it up. The engine light was on and the drivers side window would not go up after being rolled down. So if it rained I had to put plastic over it.

Anthony MarableI had to pick up before the close of business Monday for use on Tuesday and was charged an extra day. At pickup, I had to wait an hour because Uhaul double booked the rental on trailer. Never again.

Debbie SorbellaArrived to pick up equipment the day after a snow storm at pick up time requested. However, the van was full of snow. I had to ask personnel who were very nice, to please remove snow from vehicle. Also, vehicle was blocked by another truck. Overall, the pick up transaction was delayed and I'm not sure a pick up would have been possible after hours if vehicle was blocked and full of snow.

NICHOLAS SCHOLZIt should made clear to customer that they can't do self check out if they arrive late than scheduled pick up time. People can't keep running around to figure out the process. This point should high light, worst customer service from Uhal. Will not recommend to anyone. Even for droop no proper instructions, where to drop off the keys.

Chris SCHNEIDERI was supposed to rent at Division St Danbury, CT originally. My reservation was cancelled in error. Although I was frustrated at the error, The manager at Division St was helpful in finding this other truck.

MARGARET DOBBINSinitially no one sent me the code to access the lock box. I called earlier in day and was told there was issues processing my license and needed to call 800 Uhaul because he couldn't help. The instructed me to do a self check in and I'd be all set. Once i got to location still did not receive any info on accessing lock box. had to call 1800 uhaul again and then informed me i needed to provide even more forms of identification. whole process took about an hour to clear me and have me receive the code. I think I am entitled to a refund. please advise asap.

Amira Ortiz CuatecoAfter reserving on line and doing all information that was needed (ie...photo of license), I went and all I needed to give was credit card (only bc I was using a different one than I had reserved with). They explained how to drop off after hours and that was easy bc it walks you through step by step.

erron murrayWhen I made my reservation 3 weeks prior to the move I put in the address we were moving from in Stamford Ct and selected the U-Haul in Stamford as my pick up yet the day prior I received a call from U-Haul stating that you couldn't accommodate me were I requested and I was forced to drive a Hour both ways to pick up the truck 50 plus miles from the move location. I do not understand why with 3 weeks notice U-Haul was unable to provide a truck at the location I requested.

Edmond EivaziansIt took us an hour to get the keys our truck. I had a reservation and had done the pre-check in. The man couldn't pull that up apparently so he decided to start a new reservation for us after 30 minutes of talking to his coworkers about other customers. The man then charged us twice the amount that we should have been for the Uhaul and said "Oops. Youll be credited back I hope"... I will definitely rethink using uhaul for my next move when I am choosing a moving company.

milton mooreMike was very helpful. I think the whole staff was professional. I think there was an error in reading the fuel meter since it was a newer truck. I ended up filling about 6 gallons more than I got the truck with. But, that was OK, with the service and overall maintenance I received, I am happy to overlook this minor error. Best,

Jeremiah Moriartytold to drop van on Sunday May 19, when no one was there and then charged for damage that I am not aware about. Customer service for U-Haul no one answering, only recording. WILL NEVER USE RENTAL AGAIN.
