I hurt myself trying to lift the tongue off of my truck. These trailers need jacks to help lift them. I will not use or recommend you hauled anybody else.

If the driver's license is expired they can renew from their phone in 5 minutes. The truck used was well maintained but very old. Good experience all around.

Brakes on car hauler only worked half the time. Ask about different drop off points. There can be a big difference in price.

The loading ramp on the truck kept getting stuck, each time we went to close it. It did eventually close, but it took a lot of wiggling and trying to get it to go back into its' storage area.

The trailer I rented didn't have a jack or lift to take it off my hitch. The tongue was much too heavy for me to lift off my hitch and no one was in the office to help. I had to flag down a man in a pick-up truck to lift it off for me. Also the online check-out didn't work so I had to call the suggested number but as it was a Saturday at 4:10 pm I couldn't reach any one despite the message telling me that everyone was busy serving other customers. The message should have said no one is in the office and provided another phone number. I fortunately had the phone number from the person in Windsor who called me to change my location from Palmerston to Hanover. Someone did answer that number and was able to process my exit. The man who lifted off the trailer couldn't believe how heavy it was and that there was no jack system to be able to winch it up.

We had a 9 am pick-up scheduled and had to wait 40 minutes before getting served. They seemed to be having a lot of issues with their system and when we brought the truck back, we were told we owed an additional 160 $that we were not prepared for. We were not expecting to have to pay 500 $for a DIY truck rental for the day.

I had an issue re- attaching the trailer once it was loaded. Had to call twice to get a reply. Their answer was to go to Uhaul and look at the video. That was not a solution.

There were two employees who were absolutely lovely! (A married couple, I believe). She was so pleasant over the phone and he was very kind and patient during the pick-up payment process. They both made us feel very welcome in that space and answered all of our questions. 10/10 for customer service.

Le service à la clientèle était génial. I had two rentals in the past two days, the first one I swept out the truck and was still charged the cleaning fee. The arbitrary standard of cleaned-out left me feeling ripped off. I also did not have time to fill up the tank so I paid the very high gas fee. The second rental I tried my best to avoid both fees again. I filled up the tank to the 3/8ths line which is the amount in the truck when I received it and was still charged 19,50 $ for gas. I have a picture of the dashboard with my gas level when I returned. Also, the app that you are supposed to use when returning the vehicle did not work, it wouldn't allow me to take a picture, and this step could not be skipped to complete the process.

Extremely disappointed in my experience. Long waits due to them filling out stuff on computer, and failing to report the return properly cost me over an hour of my time. I was also forced to take 15 dollar insurance because the computer didnt work when i hit no insurance. I gave them my credit card and was still forced to make a cash deposit of 100 dollars. When i came back to get my deposit they tried to charge me for a late return because of their failure to put the return in the computer(i was actually a day early on my return) i was then charged 40 dollars for gas after i filled it up and took pictures of the fuel tank. They said i left it at a lottle over 3 quarters and based on their fuel capacity that means it was short 20 litres short. So i was charged 2 dollars per litre of gas based on the hypothetical return. Now i have to wait to speak to a manager to get my gas money back. I dont think it could have gone worse.

Make sure you call to confirm your truck and request early. We had scheduled a 2 day rental and was only slotted in for 1. This was not the fault of the Hanover location but U-Haul traffic. It was extremely overwhelming and disappointing to move our home in 8 hours instead of the 2 days we scheduled.

It's not a quick fix problem but trucks that support smart phone use -- for GPS, hands free calling / texting and of course tunes is appreciated....and I don't know it it's possible but, rearview cameras in the larger trucks would be appreciated by novice truck drivers...

Everything was great and the staff were amazing. The only issue I had was when I dropped off the trailer I rented, the online return site wouldn't work properly. I spent about 10 minutes trying to get it to work and finally gave up. It wouldn't bother me so much but it's costing me 20 $and I wasted 10 minutes to try. It's not the locations fault so that's why I'm still giving a good review, if it was an overall company review, I am dissatisfied and it's not the first time. I have had problems every time I've used your company and only use you out of necessity.

I hated the fact that I, as a customer had to upload my DL, had to take pics of odometer and pics of vehicle condition on return, had to change all sorts of privacy settings on phone just to complete the return (share location etc.) Way to download responsibility to the paying customer for all the things that an agent of your company should be doing instead (considering the fees and price paid for a few hours rental). Customer service at this location was excellent, the downfall is the "DIY" check in for returns, so lazy and not worth anyone's time. I especially liked the fact that I was billed 0,7/km for usage for "out of town" . Very misleading with the 19,95/ day ad, ended up paying 100,00 $ for a 4 hr rental. Will not be using Uhaul again because of the lazy return scheme and misleading per day rate.

I was promised Mount Forest drop off, and ended up having to go to Hanover, not impressed, considering I had been driving for 3 days back and forth from the city, an email was sent to let me know. Probably had to spend an extra 50 $on gas. I will be using Penske or Ryder next time. Scott Young

Out of windshield fluid when picked up. The milage was wrong and i showed him and asked to fix it. When i recieved my bill it was not corrected. I guess he needs the extra milage to stay open during this period.
