They did not secure my car to the tow trailer correctly, with either the straps or the chains. I had to stop and wait over an hour for a tow guy to fix it. I could have lost my car, killed someone or flipped the truck, or all three. They refuse to refund, I will never use U-Haul againJennifer M.
Scott was the associate at this location that helped. He comes in 2 hours early everyday bcz some U-Haul customers don't get clear directions for pick up. He was a huge help bcz i didn't have any idea i needed a code to get my uhualJennifer F.

The original vehicle that I was supposed to rent broke down so I had to go to a different location which was fine but this truck also had some slight malfunctions. Nothing that prevented me from getting my work done but it appears to me that maybe you should invest in some new vehicles. 157 000 miles on the truck i had today.Sheryl W.

Just a sign or something posted in the store indicating that business is not taken care at the front of the store which had us standing there and as people came in a long line was formed in another location until my son indicated to one of the store workers that we were the second people in the store but now had to stand in a line of a few people. He told the owner and we were taken care of before others who came in after us. It is a wonderful store and I am overall very happy.Eddie L.

I tried to check the truck back in using my phone but the app stopped responding and wouldn't let me share my location or continue. I instead just gave the keys to a clerk who said I was done. Not sure what the app was supposed to do for me.scott T.
A little bit better communication at the store would be good. When I picked it up, the owner and I agreed that I would be dropping it off late, after the business closed. I received a call from an employee asking where I was, when I explained what we agreed to, he said he would update the system and it was "all good". I was subsequently charged for another day's rental.Laine S.

I am very disappointed with Uhauls customer service. I went in person and reserved a 26 ft U-Haul the day before I needed it. I then got a call 3 minutes before the pickup time telling me they didn't have the U-Haul that I reserved. They've then sent me 12 and a half miles one way to go pick up a new U-Haul. So I had to drive 25 miles there and back just to get to the same area I came from which was 2 miles away from my home. I then had to pay at the end 50 extra miles at a $1,09 a mile because they did not have what I reserved at the location next to my home. This is not fair nor Equitable to somebody who is doing their due diligence to be close to their home so they are not having to pay an extra 50 miles. The customer service person was rude raised her tone and said it is not the way it works that they waive the extra 50 miles due to their error. I was been transferred to customer service while I sat on hold for 38 minutes and they finally hung up on me and I have never been able to get through again. I gave 4 stars as I know things happen but I had a large construction screw sticking out if the tire that created a leak upon driving on the highway which wasn't noticed until I had to pull into a gas station for my pregnant gf to go pee and I got gas. The 1800 number disconnected me multiple times so I just bought a tire plug kit and fix a flat and fixed it my self despite a fracture scaphoid in my wrist and it all cost me almost twice as much as the trailer rental. This rental should honestly be give to me for free considering what I went through.chris S.

when I get the vehicle, it has only 3/4 of gas. But when I return I refuel it to about 7/8. But they recorded it as between 5/8 and 3/4 and charged me around 10$. I am really really disappointed. Never take this again. Final time. Thank you.Nilan G.

McKays made checking out autotransport checking back in go easy. Made reservations for Sept 2nd to 5th, for next rental weekend.fred N.
spent 30 to 45 minutes trying to get my reservation pulled up. Then did not even get the pick up truck I wanted because they tow hitch was not available as the reservation said. Ended up driving a boxy 10 foot U-Haul which was uncomfortable to drive so I was not satisfied with my U-Haul reservation.Tyler F.

By far the best experience w/U Haul, ever! The company stores overbook and send you on a wild goose chase all over the map. They rarely call ahead and so when you do show up at another location you incur the wrath of the owner/manager/whoever! Not good. And not so w/McKay's. From now on my go to rental place! Mike was especially helpful. Really the kind of people you enjoy doing business with! Excellent. A+ service & attitude!Charles B.

Thoroughly explain what a drop the keys off at and make sure the customer have a throw understanding and it should also be written on the agreement to drop the keys off in the drop off box and the manager of McKay's hardware store was very rude to me talk down to me as if I was a kid because the representative that rented me the truck didn't explain to me what I dropped the keys off at and they charged me for 2 days after I returned the truck plus I had to go hire a locksmith to unlock the truck to retrieve the keys, I don't understand how a trucking company doesn't have a spare key for the truck in the office or how a hardware store doesn't have equipment to unlock the truck in the event the keys is lost or in the event that the keys are in the truck, makes no sense to me a business always supposed to have an extra key, what started off as a $69 bill turned out to be over $250, I'm very disappointed with the management and his attitude his name is Kevin Kevin and I will not do any more business with this placejulius D.
